They've got TVs, so I could definitely see us coming in to eat and watch a football game. Honestly, I'm surprised this place isn't busier because the food is that good. I have no idea how this place is still in business. If any restaurant was begging to be on Kitchen…read moreNightmares, it's this one. Judging by older reviews, there must've been a change in ownership because whatever this was... ain't it. The place was completely dead in the middle of the day--a giant red flag I regret ignoring. My wife's burger was a disaster: barely holding together, with a slice of cheese so haphazardly thrown on it might as well have come from across the room. Mine fared slightly better, but by the end, it was disintegrating too. The curly fries? They tasted like fish. Why? No clue. And the atmosphere--if you can call it that--was just as bad. The whole place reeked. The rafters were covered in water stains, paint was peeling off the walls, and the only TV was BLASTING random videos on a loop like some kind of fever dream. I hate to drag a local business, especially one that's clearly struggling, but at some point, you have to know when to fold 'em.

I stopped by here Friday night with my husband and two boys to check it out. I was a bit surprised at how not busy the place was, considering it's a Friday evening. We started off playing a round of arcade games and were debating whether or not we wanted to do an hour of bowling, which is $36/hour on weekends for up to 6 people per lane, including shoes, which is a great deal compared to other bowling alleys. We will probably come back to bowl when we have more time, since it said the place is 21+ after 10 pm, and it was already past 9 pm. Their menu sounded good, so we decided to order the poutine fries (don't let the name fool you. This is NOT your traditional Canadian poutine fries) and their dill pickle cupperoni pizza. We were seated outside near the firepit area and noticed that it doesn't look like anyone comes out to check on you and take orders. I went inside to the bar to order the food, and they said they would bring it out to us. The poutine fries were okay- a bit salty for my liking, but not bad. The dill pickle cupperoni pizza flavor-wise was not bad. It had a hint of sweetness to it, which worked well with the pickle and pepperoni combo. The only downside was that it was not cooked long enough, so it was pretty soggy, and all the toppings would fall off when you tried to grab a slice. We had leftovers, so I went back into the bar area to try and get a pizza box, but it was extremely hard to get the attention of the bartenders, even though there were barely any people there. One bartender walked in front of me a couple of times, purposely avoiding eye contact with me, so another person had to help me once she eventually saw me. Overall, I would return for the games and bowling, but the service and food were subpar. Maybe there is a reason why this place wasn't packed on a Friday evening.

Their wings are pretty good and definitely a highlight on the menu. The typical bar food and burgers are also satisfying. What stood out was the friendly service and the overall cleanliness of the place. While the prices are slightly higher than some other comparable places, they make up for it with their specials. For example, last time I was there, they had $5 quesadillas. Hard to pass up on that! Plus, the small game room for kids is a nice addition if you're dining with family. The abundance of TVs ensures you won't miss any action, making it a top spot for for catching a game. There's nothing truly outstanding about this place for me, but nothing bad at all!
