The service!!! 5 stars. I'm so mad I didn't get the young woman's name who took care of our large group of 11 during brunch time. She was the absolutely sweetest server of all time. She confidently refilled our waters, coffees, and any other random requests. She never once made us feel like a burden and also carried on hilarious conversations. The food was great, especially in a small town where the options are slim. I always end up with a traditional but truly the blueberry pancakes are so fluffy and dense. Food: We were there for breakfast/brunch and our selections were yummy. Hubby had sausage Benedict with hash browns and I had chicken-n-waffles. We didn't care for the texture of the biscuits on the Benedict; they were a bit too tough/dense for our preference (maybe dough was overworked? that morning). Good small town vibe restaurant, good service, nice employees. Food was good, would go back for sure, $12-17 seemed typical for most meals, kids meals $6-7, sides $1-5. We got skillets and they do give a healthy amount of food especially the hash browns underneath compared to some restaurants at similar pricing and comes with a side like short stack of pancakes, which some others don't offer too. read more

This place really surprised me. I had eaten at Brothers next door a few days ago and asked them if they served breakfast and they said the place next door had it on lock. And they weren't lying. The breakfast here was so good. You're greeted soon as you enter and the wait staff is super attentive. We were checked in constantly. We got there a little after 7 in the morning and it was pretty empty outside some older gentlemen sitting on the sides against the wall. But it got busier and busier as we waited. The food seemed to take a bit to come out but for the quality you quickly forget. I got pork chop and eggs with a short stack and my homie got breakfast tacos. The presentation was so clean and the food was even better. I would suggest they use a larger plate for the short stack cause I got a decent amount of syrup on the table, but that's a minor issue. Listen, this is the best breakfast/brunch/lunch cafe there ever could be. You will be greeted, seated, and treated. The owners are fantastic, and they are so welcoming, friendly, and professional. The aesthetic is a comfy farm feel. It's not too loud that you can't think, and it doesn't feel crammed or too social. I have tried everything on the menu, and there is not a single thing that isn't excellent. I love the breakfast tacos, breakfast sandwich, All Rise skillet, and the chicken and waffles are perfect. Anton Ego, the food critic from Ratatouille, would absolutely rate Giulia's as a 5 star brunch destination. Ron Swanson and Leslie Knope would eat here every day if this was Pawnee. We came here on a Tuesday morning to meet our friend Chad at 9am, and we were promptly seated and greeted by Giulia and the staff. This is definitely a spot loved by the locals, and we can see why! I got the Healthy Benny, with a side of homemade salsa that was SO GOOD (highly recommend everyone ask for a side of this). The hash browns were nice and crisp, and the avocado/tomato topped eggs Benedict was delicious. Ryan got the Belgian waffle, and in his words, it was "fantastic." We also had a basket of blueberry muffins, which were nice and a little crisp on the outside, but moist and perfect on the inside. We enjoyed our coffees, which were nice and smooth. We had a great breakfast, and the service was amazing. We definitely look forward to coming back when we are in the area again. Thank you! read more

we visited for the first time yesterday. it's a cute place, decent food, but we were surprised by the prices. I ordered a spinach salad with chicken- $16.00 for a very small salad. I thought the waitress accidentally brought me a side salad, no, that's the whole meal. I could have gone to Salad and Go for half the price and double the salad. My husband ordered chicken fried steak, again, almost $16.00. Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and a piece of toast. No green beans, no side salad, just a small plate of food for $16.00. I met a friend and her two kiddos here for brunch/lunch. The service was great from getting seated to waiting on us! The atmosphere is good, quaint, and open spaced. My tuna melt sandwich was amazing. Would definitely get that again. My friend had a skillet and devoured it. The kids had a burger that was huge for the kids menu and a grilled cheese sandwich that looked like it had been cooked first and sitting around awhile. The bread on it was melba and hardly toasted (my tuna melt was perfect) and the cheese was just hard, not gooey or melted; again, like it had been sitting out for awhile. That was the only downside. Giulia's is a delightful addition to this area! A sweet friend told me about this place and her first experience here, so we decided to go for lunch yesterday. I was so warmly greeted at the door by the sweetest young woman, who I later found out was one of the owners. The decor and furniture were classy and cozy. The food was excellent! We both had cup of homemade soup and the Godfather sandwich, along with some earl grey tea with a tiny pot of half and half. My friend's husband had a breakfast that made me envious. Such a breath of fresh air every time we eat at Giulia's. This is exactly what Aubrey has needed. A well thought out menu. The food is excellent. Perfectly poached eggs for breakfast and 'The God Father' is my go to lunch. It's helps that the young couple who own it, Guilia and Tony, are actually Italian. The staff are very friendly. I tried the seared pork chop with veggies. The pork chop and gravy were quite salty and the veggies had a strong garlic powder taste. A very simple dish that could have been very tasty. It's probably not a dish I'll try again but I'm willing to go back and see what else they have to offer. Gulia's had one of their special dinners last night, 23 August, and Gulia and Tony produced a wonderful dinning experience. First the staff was well trained, knew their positions and were helpful and available to fulfill all needs. The evening Started with crab cakes, really good crab cakes, no filler, just delicious crab. Next was a wonderful corn soup, maximum flavor, full bodied, a really good soup. This was followed by beef tenderloin. A huge cut, finished exactly as i requested, rare. It was extremely flavorful and tender and well aged. I raise beef, I know what I like and this tenderloin was was equal to none. Lastly all this was followed by a fine lemon cookie. I rated with Four stars because there are a few things that could finish an already good experience and make it great. Linen table napkins, softer lighting for an evening meal, and softer more mellow background music are three things that come to mind. Overall the dinner was wonderful. Although I love crepes and there were none on the menu (that's not abnormal) , all the food was delicious & reasonably priced. The first impression was great. The Kelly green wall color, the cleanliness, and overall design and decor was cozy and refreshing. The hubby and I decided to try Giulia's as they were close and just opened recently. Service was good but it is so small you can't help to be attentive. The decor was farmhouse'ish but lacked a lot of decor...actually quite bland. Like being housepoor in a new house and can't afford wall pics. Couple that with uncomfortable wooden chairs and tables. The bill came to $42. for two sodas, two sandwiches and a very small bowls of tomato soup. The absolute worst part was the food. The ice tasted bad from Mustang Water so we suspect it's not filtered. The Pepsi without ice tasted fine. The small portions of tomato basil soup tasted "off" and nothing like Jason's Deli or Black Walnut Cafe. We shared the same drinks, soup, but different sandwiches....I had grilled cheese but he had the tuna melt and within a few hours he had 6 bouts of diarrhea....whereas I was okay...so we suspect the mayo, tuna, or cheese were bad in his tuna melt. He didn't have breakfast this morning and hadn't eaten since lunch the day before, so it had to be the tuna melt. Will we be back? Not really...Ernesto's Tex-Mex is around the corner from us, usually pay the same or less, has larger portions and tastier (albeit safer) food. Plus a bar to order drinks from. read more

First visit to Guilia's. Friendly prompt service. Waitress answered questions and with my indecisive state, offered swap outs of sauces etc. Good variety of lunch / breakfast items on the menu. I had a hash brown skillet; my husband had chicken fried steak. Both meals good. Their biscuits are good, too, more moist than at many places. At the end, the owner came and talked with us for a few minutes, which was nice. Only drawback: it's a bit pricey. However, I've been saying that about many things and places lately. read more
