I was completely stuck between the Pink Parm and the K-Pop fries and asked for her recommendation. That's when I found out she can do a split plate - which is genius because I truly could not decide. The fact that she was willing to work with me like that just shows how much she cares about her customers. I always say, when reviews are consistently good, I'm not too worried about price as long as the food delivers. Zoe mentioned she recently had to raise prices slightly -- which is totally understandable in today's economy -- but let me tell you... $17 FLAT for a split plate of chicken and loaded fries, fried Oreos, and a HUGE side of free ranch?! That is unheard of right now. And Zoe told me to let her know about her ranch... so here it is: your ranch could outdo Wingstop any day. No exaggeration. It was THAT good. The portions are generous, the flavors are bold, I, and the service makes the whole experience even better. I already can't wait to bring everyone I know back here and try the flavors I didn't get to today. Support local - especially when it's this good.

I primarily went with them because their prices were reasonable. To my delight (really everyone's delight), it turned out to be an excellent decision. I'll start with food. Both the meats and sides were so good. On top of the taste, the quality and presentation of the food was top notch. Everyone loved everything and we received many inquiries on the caterer. I ordered: - brisket - sausage - pulled pork - string beans - Mac and cheese - baked beans Service I'll start by saying that I was only able to get them to prepare the food since they'd already committed to servicing a major pickleball tournament. Basically, this meant that I had to pick it up from them after they worked thru the night to prepare it. This wasn't a problem for me since they were nice enough to squeeze me in. Throughout the process, I was really impressed with how responsive, helpful, friendly, down to earth, and reassuring Pam (primary contact) was as I had many questions and concerns along way. I had never coordinated catering before and didn't know anything about them. Conclusion I consider Lettuce Turnip to be somewhat of an upstart since I believe they've only been officially in business less than 2 years. All in all, I really enjoyed working with Pam, I loved their food, and they're the kind of business I like to support. They're certainly top of my list next time I wanna do an event with BBQ. I see great things in their future. Thanks so much, Pam! You made me look good!!

We saw a note on Instagram that they were coming, and when I called the number on Saturday a super nice woman named Danielle answered and couldn't have been friendlier. I could hear she was busy in the background, but she steered us right by suggesting we place our order ahead of time online for next day pickup. Very excellent advice. The next day the line was already huge when we got there - I walked up to the front and asked the woman working the table "is there a separate line for pre orders?" and she pointed to where I was standing, off to the side of the huge line, and said "right here." 5 minutes later we had the freshest, tastiest food we've had in a long time. The crawfish was a huge hit - and authentic. The corn and potatoes were cooked in the juice with the crawfish and had all that flavor. The boiled shrimp were huge, fresh, and delicious. And the fried catfish? Oh my GOD - the best flavored catfish in DFW! I don't know what spices they use, or who is doing the frying, but big round of applause to them! I only wish I'd been smart enough to order more - the two pieces were big, but I could have eaten 5 more. Especially after sharing small bites with the others in my group. Even the French fries were great. We hope to eat their food again. Please come to Glen Echo Brewing in Wylie!! Thanks Danielle and team for the hard work. I think the huge line of people waiting patiently in the sun tells you how much their food is loved. I can't believe more people on Yelp don't know how good they are.
