I stopped this evening to get a bite to eat. I went inside the lobby. I was acknowledged When I walked In but that was it . I stood there like 8 or 9 mins waiting for Someone to take my order. Guy was packing food and fries and he stated we will be right with you. Women who I'm assuming was a manager or team leader was at the drive thru and she even came to the register and Did something at the register but didn't take my order. The guy packing food told Luisa to take my order and she just laughed and giggled and said no! The guy finally asked me what they could start for me and the manager women said no.. she was doing something at the register and going back and forth to the drive thru and she finally said the person is paying cash and she finally went back to the drive thru. I turned around and walked out since I was already there for 9 mins without even ordering any food. I love Whataburger but this location sucks since they opened the new location on Elliot! Came here for my first time, and probably my last. I can't believe this place has been "compared" to In & Out, because they're not even close to being on their level. Burgers were basic, and not much different than a typical fast food joint. The water tasted like dirt, which also made the fresh brewed iced tea taste bad. Slowest service for a drive through I've been in yet. Ordered our food at 4:45 pm, there were only two vehicles in front of us. We didn't get our food until 25 minutes later. I'm from IL so I tried Whataburger. What a waste of money. It tasted like cooked, unseasoned meat. The chocolate mint milkshake was terrible. Idk how you can ruin a milkshake but they found a way. It tasted like bad artificial flavoring. Not at all like the Mint chocolate chip milkshakes at Steak and Shake. I gave it one star because I couldn't post this review with zero. You ever buy two Honey bbq chicken sandwiches for your girlfriend and not get the Texas toast. Then she goes crazy and breaks up with you all over food. Packs her shit and leaves then throws a sandwich at you and when you try to calm her down the neighbors call the police and you're just sitting here so confused and mad you wasted your money for a fight. In addition you had to wait about ten minutes while five people got their order before you and you thought they were making it fresh but then they were probably scrambling to find bread. Horrible flies everywhere in the dining area. Cashier is horrible and rude. Horrible night crew. I ordered number 11. Once I got home the chicken was awful the presentation it self was disgusting, even though they gave me the wrong drink . The lettuce was old and dried out. This location is HORRIBLE. This should not be considered fast food. We did the drive through and post ordering (2 burgers and 2 fries) it took 15 minutes to get our food. There was only 1 person in front of us. When we finally got our food I asked the lady if it normally takes this long and her response was "Nope, it's my fault. That's why I brought your food." Their chicken is so good it makes my mouth water thinking about it! My family loves their burgers. Their wait times tend to be long but then again they are busy a lot. The employees are nice. Sometimes it doesn't seem like they have a very good system to push out orders super quickly and their parking lot gets packed and a little bit chaotic. First visit to this location (not first time), I witnessed staff mopping the floor, not putting a caution sign out, customer slipped and fell hard and manager did nothing. Did not check to see if customer was alright, offer free food, or coupons for future visit. This should have been a sign for me. Second visit my family and I were served burgers on burnt buns, but the food was cold, cheese was not melted. The same manager stood by and saw how the food was being prepared and served. I said, this is not my order and staff said "Yes it is". I think staff was laughing when our food was served. They knew what they were doing. We will NEVER eat at this location again and I warn anyone eating at this location to check your food carefully and get your money back right away or the manager may make an issue out of the situation. I was in town for a business trip. It was late. I was hungry. I just got gas before getting to the hotel to save time on the car rental return the next day and asked the folks at the gas station how this place was compared to Jack or Carl's and was told it was awesome. It was far from awesome, it wasn't even that good. The drink and lid were terrible, they didn't fit right and caused it to leak a little. I got a chicken sandwich the bread was a cool idea but it just didn't work for the meal. Solid 3 stars. My Texas friends had been telling me about Whataburger for quite a few years. Imagine my surprise when we were driving back to Vegas from Tucson and ran into a Whataburger! Even though it was barely 10am we had to try a burger here. We got a double burger and found out it doesn't come with cheese! If you add cheese, they add $0.50 per patty, so for a double, it was and extra $1. But the total came out to $6.10 (with tax) so it was a $5.75 burger for a double with cheese. Closest I could compare it with is Farmer Boys if you're familiar. It was much more juicy and hotter than FB. Cannot compare it with In N Out since the price point is totally different. In reality, it was a Del Taco Double Del Burger on STEROIDS. The spicy ketchup gave it a bit of edge. Didn't get a chance to try their fries though, however, we asked for two cups of ice water (for our dogs for our long road trip) and they gave us two large size cups with ice cold agua. read more

I work really close to this place and only get 30 minutes for lunch so I really don't have a whole lot of options when I chose not to bring my lunch to work. Everytime I go no matter if there's a line or not at the drive thru or even if I go inside, it takes at least 15-20 minutes for them to serve customers.
