This location is convenient for me, but I end up waiting so long it becomes very inconvenient. I'm sitting here writing this review in an empty lobby. I mobile ordered a Jr. Whataburger at 2:10pm. When I arrived the workers all ignored me and would not acknowledge. Finally a worker walked up the register, did not greet me and just what can I get you? I told them I had a mobile order, and they were like, oh, yeaaaah, they are probably still working on that. I have counted at least 6 employees and 3 people eating in the lobby, nobody in the drive thru. This isn't my first experience like this here. I believe it will be my last though. I really like the blackberry Dr Pepper soda flavor so when Whataburger came out with this shake I had to try it. I was not disappointed at all! If you like the soda, you'll love the shake!!! On to the sandwich. I've been on a buffalo sauce kick recently so when stopping for the shake I saw this advertised and of course had to try it. Again, not disappointed. I was much larger than expected, had great tasting chicken strips, wonderful buffalo sauce that tasted like franks with just the right amount of butter... then topped with the correct balance of ranch dressing. the last three times i have eaten here i ordered a sweet and spicy bacon burger with onion rings, the previous 2 were at least warm enough for the cheese to still melt but this time it was barely warm, the onion rings were cold and they didn't put the sweet and spicy sauce on it so it was just a bad bacon cheeseburger. We went to Whattaburger on Monday, March 16th. At 1120 we were told they were running twenty minutes behind. Thirty minutes later, i checked on them saying that we had to be somewhere and if they could get our order quickly. The guy just said yes, and just walked around like he was in a daze, he didn't order anybody to do something, or didn't check on where they were in the process or get help from a manager.He just walked around. An hour later my husband walked up and asked for a manager. He asked for his money back. And the manager had no clue what was going on. The new Whataburger is open in South BA!! I tried this special burger, the Bacon blaze jalapno double, and dude, it was actually really good!! I was sold on bacon and jalapeños. It with a layer of cream cheese between the Patties, it was kind of like a jalapeño popper on a bun. For fast food, it's kind of impressive. I tried the Nashville hot chicken tenders, and they were okay. I've had Nashville hot chicken in Nashville, at several locations. What I got here is definitely not that. Flavorful, but no heat. It was yummy for a snack, but won't get it again. My onion rings were super crispy and yummy and were enjoyed with the jalapeño ranch. I eat over did it with the chocolate peppermint shake. It was so delicious tho!! I'll prolly get another one of these before the end of the holiday season. Overall, I found this to be a win. Always takes forever late at night because it's packed but the fries were fresh, gravy was hot and my stomach was happy.

I'm a little confused as to why this location has such negative reviews. I have close by so we visit often. I don't think there's any other fast food place where you can get a huge, good quality burger for what you can get at Whataburger. I think my only complaint is that the food can often take a while to make and get, especially during busy hours like late at night when nothing else is open. Usually have positive experiences even when dining inside. Great location, right off the highway, easy parking. The chicken biscuit with honey butter sauce never disappoints! This location gets bashed a lot, and I've had it maybe 5 times, and I've never had any major issues! I actually dined in once a few years ago late at night, and that was the best burger I've ever had from there. And the staff came around to offer sauces to our booth! It's pretty clean and orderly inside. I have waited a long while in the drive-thru before, but they were busy. My fries last night were hot, but my burger was a little dry. I ordered a double Whataburger, but wanted mushrooms and au jus sauce instead of the other toppings. I told the cashier that I did not mind waiting for a fresh one because I like them hot and juicy so they are still dripping. That is not what I got. The burgers were even more way too overcooked, dry and tasteless than usual, which was horrible, but look at the shameful smattering of mushrooms I got. Those were also way overcooked, dry and *chewy*. They tasted awful. This is not how it used to be. She had to get help and the young man did fine but his female supervisor gave them both the stink eye (this was uncalled for). Whataburger is obviously in cahoots with the country's top oil and gas companies! I may have set a record yesterday (Sunday 5-6pm) - and the time range isn't that inaccurate based on how long I waited in the drive-thru. If it wasn't for me in a rental car, I would have probably driven off to save gas money. I saw many others behind me drive away after placing their order. I would have done even that if the cashier didn't come to my car to get my credit card after 20 minutes of waiting. Don't visit this place much and they don't have them around the country. But this place has two lines, several cashiers, tons of customers, and probably 1 cook. I have never seen fast food become so slow in my life. All you need to know is that from pulling up to order to getting my food and credit card back took over 30 minutes! As for the food, you are asking "well what you order that took so long?" I ordered 2 things - a double meat Whataburger or whatever they call it and a grilled chicken sandwich. "But, but, but did the food at least taste good?" NO! The burger was a disaster. The cheese looked like it was placed on by the cashier as she gave me the bag (not melted). The burger looked even more gross. Both sandwiches look like they were used for box squats because they were both squished beyond all recognition. I'm only telling you what I ordered based on my receipt btw. Good luck!
