Whataburger does fast, fresh, inexpensive hamburgers and assundry better than most! The only chain that handles it better, IMHO, is In & Out, but I'll say this. Whataburger offers a few "perks" you don't get at I&O. For example, give their specialty sauces a try. Ketchup with a kick or a really great grainy yellow mustard? Yes please! Plus, their pickles are awesome. I'm not an onion ring person, but I have friends that love them and I've heard this place is one of the best when it comes to getting them cheap! I'm not a giant fan of wedge fries, but if you are, Whataburger's for you! Whataburger's specialty food items also set it apart. Great service and yummy food. Came here for breakfast, drove 15 minutes out of the way just to get whataburger, and it was delicious! Got the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with a dr. pepper, cooked perfectly! Will definitely be making many trips to this location even though it's a little out of the way ;) read more

Alright, Southeners do not hate me but sadly this is just a three star restaurant for me. It was a great, quick burger but nothing stands out. Nothing says "wow" to me. I ordered the standard Whataburger #1. I have been told the specialty burgers are delicious but I like to start out simple. After all, if you can not do simple, then you can not impress me. The amount of food in a standard, single cheeseburger meal was astounding. I did not finish my meal. The burger tasted good. It was not too greasy and definitely had a meaty rather than artificial flavor. The fries were delicious, not greasy. The standard size was very generous. After you order, you find a seat and they bring your food to you. With the food, they bring a tray of condiments. The service is great. What bothered me was the value. My husband ordered the #2, which is a double Whataburger. Rather than pay a 50 cents upcharge, they actually charge you per patty. He paid a full dollar over. Now, I do not mind paying for good food but I do not like to be nickel and dimed. It really turned me off to the chain. If you like burgers, try this place. It is an experience. If I lived in the south, I am not sure if this would be a part of my regular diet. read more

This location is great! The drive thru is slow, but I feel like that's pretty normal at whataburger. This time when I went through the drive thru they gave me the wrong order. I went in to fix the mistake and they gave me the burger I ordered fresh in less than a minute. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful! I will NOT go back to this whataburger.. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.. EVERYTHING WAS COLD AND NASTY. Cold onion rings, cold fries, cold burgers with what look like scraps for toppings, watered down drinks, didn't give us sauce and to top it off a HAIR IN my cinnamon roll. I was going to leave it alone until that. It made me want to puke. I was so excited to eat it and then bam it's not even edible anymore. Put in a mobile order through their app thinking I could just pull through the drive-thru and go. Nope. Get there and there are 10 or so cars in the drive-thru already at 10:50am. Really? I am now wishing I selected curbside pickup instead of drive-thru. Okay, fine this happens. I wait about 10 minutes to finally get to the speaker. The order taker seemed confused that a mobile order was in, asked my name and told me to pull into lane B, which was empty. I then wait 11 minutes (and watch about 8 cars behind me whose orders are well after my 10:37 online submission get theirs fulfilled and pull away) before someone comes out to me. He is carrying a soda, which I did not order. He asks me what was my order... at this point I'm rubbing my temples and breathing deliberately. I've been sitting in Whataburger drive-thru for 21 minutes. Another two minutes go by and finally my order is brought out. What turned from being a time efficient plan, turned into a time deficiency. Highly annoying and I was shown the company is disorganized when it comes to their mobile ordering. I will not be back anytime soon. read more

Everything was good except they didn't put the medium fries for my combo on the bag. The lady taking my order really rushed me and totaled my order before I was done ordering. We love whataburger just NOT this one! We stopped by for lunch today and ordered almost $40 worth of food for my family. There was a few thing's wrong first the coke taste really bad as if the nozzles from the coke dispenser have never been cleaned. Then the onion rings looked really old and burnt so I asked for new ones and the lady that took us our food said that there was nothing she could do about it because the oil was bad, then offered us under cooked onion rings instead. The bathrooms were very dirty and smelled. And to top all this off I get home and noticed they charged my credit card twice! So for a $40 transaction I ended up paying almost $80. The manager wasn't much help and rushed me off the phone basically telling me it's not his fault! Worst experience ever, I will not be going back to this location! read more

Last food here sucked so out of shear despiration i find myself stuck in a drive through with no cars for going on 20 mins for a breakfast sandwhoch combo and ONE pancake....really ? Worst Whataburger in the state of Texas by far. This is the third time I've had an issue with them. First time was the order was wrong. Second time the burger was straight up cold. Tonight I decided to give them a third strike chance, and they predictably blew it. Roughly five cars in front of me, three or four behind. I order the new mushroom burger, and ONLY THE BURGER. No drink, fries, nothing. They tell me it's $6 and ask me to pull into the B lane and someone would bring it out to me. Myself and another vehicle sat in the B lane for thirty minutes, and the vehicles behind us (still in the drive through lane) placed their orders, pulled to the window, got their food, and left. Eventually the car in front of my just drove off I disgust. I followed their lead about ten minutes later. I guess there is an option worse than cold food. No food at all! This Whataburger is unacceptable by every single standard that company says it has. Corporate needs to come in and truly clean this place out from top to bottom. (And yes, I will be getting in touch with them. Hopefully enough people will that they can intervene and address the glaring issues with this location). That will likely never happen, so avoid this location at all costs. There is another Whataburger about ten minutes north, and they are superior in every possible way. Go there instead. I went to pick up dinner for my family and ordered a small vanilla shake for my spouse. I usually always check the food to make sure the order was correct but I never thought to check the shake especially because it was not for me. Later when my spouse was trying to drink the shake he said that there were pecans in the shake now this sounded unusual but if he was not complaining I was not going to worry about it. Later when I saw the shake was still full I was going to help finish it so I take a drink and a piece of bacon comes out of the straw!! So I open it and sure enough there were all sorts of bacon and fry pieces and other things that I could not identify. I called and told the manager what happened and brought it back in and got a refund for the shake and the manager was polite. We will not be returning to this location. I appreciate them refunding for the shake but I wasted 2 trips driving to the restaurant just to get my $3 back. I just hope all the bacon was cooked and we do not get sick b/c of uncooked bacon in the shake read more

Too bad it has the slowest people employed and the slowest service of any drive-thru since the creation of drive-thrus. During the day, this Whataburger is just as good as any other location in town. But after hours, this is the slowest, most incompetently-staffed Whataburger I've ever been to. The past 3 times I've gone through the drive-thru, they've gotten my order wrong. The last 2 times, it took more than 20 minutes to get from the menu board to the pay window. Tonight, while waiting for my order at the window, I witnessed the employee at the cash register picking at his teeth with his fingernail, then packaging orders and making milkshakes. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt (I work nights, I know how hard it is to stay fully staffed at 4am) until tonight. Never again! read more

I would give no stars but that is not an option unfortunately. We rarely eat at these types of places but it was around 9 and my wife was craving a burger for dinner after a long day of Saturday activities so I chose Whataburger since at least you know it's fresh. Well it may be fresh but at this location this night the food was tainted! I watched the grill guy handle raw chicken and beef and then proceed to handle finished food without a change of gloves!! Can I give it no stars? This was a while back but I stopped in after work at 12:15 am and ordered 2 items coming to $6 and change. I gave the kid $7 cash and it took 20 minute to get to the next window. When I got there, he had 3 guys standing there saying I never gave him any money. I worked 2 jobs at them time and really didnt need to steal food. They finally gave me the ice cold food but made me feel like a thief. I called the number to complain and the area mgr offered me a free meal but I really didnt need to go back and have my food spit in. Hope this location goes under someday. read more

i've given them two chances to fix their mistakes. last month, i found a coarse texture hair cooked inside my burger, and then just yesterday, i order a burger with extra onions and was disappointed to open it and see that it possessed no onions. not only did we see no onions, but what we were able to see was a long strand of hair sitting at the bottom of our bag. either you guys need new hair nets, or new employees as a whole. i will not be returning as every time i've come here, the quality of the food is atrocious. read more
