I had to wait in the drive-through for 35 minutes to get my food, and didn't get any napkins with the food. The burgers and fries were alright, but no better than McDonalds. I don't see why you would go here and wait 30 minutes when you can go to McDonald's and get food that is just as good in 5 minutes. read more

I love the food here at Whataburger, but I went through the drive-through and asked for the double cheeseburger with no onion, no tomato, when I got it it had a sticker on it that said no onion no tomato, but I opened it up there's a pile of onions and a big tomato. My wife and I visit here every time we can. Most time's it's not to bad or it use to not be. I work in customer service also so I do understand certain things can and will happen but lately when I have to go eat late at night it's been awful I do mean awful I went inside to simply order a double Whataburger jr in Athens I literally stood at the counter for I know 20 minutes people walking by I'm simply being patient as I said I work customer service also. So finally I start asking employee after employee could they please take my order to NO LUCK finally someone said Tyler would have to take my order so great we getting somewhere now or I thought so Tyler came to front I simply ask for what I wanted and he literally acted as if he couldn't take my order remind you he was the manager if I were to conduct myself in this way on my job I would be fired or if anyone working under me would be also what's happening to our businesses are they and gave they gotten this desperate to hire people and them leaders and management in businesses I get help is hard to find but I 8-year-old could do better than what Whataburger and their management on 3rd shift are doing I truly see why businesses are closing early and completely going out of business because if this is what they have to choose from this world is in sad sad shape but I guarantee you one thing I will never have customer service skills to this level or anyone working for me this is not acceptable especially when like I said my family and I spend quite a bit of money there and I don't need to tell you how expensive that place is for a burger. read more

We were greeted when we entered. The restaurant was clean and pleasant. All of the employees were friendly. Food tasted great!

Waited for 45 minutes for a to go order. Employees were all polite but the manager was not managing...she was working the food line while employees were just standing around staring at people waiting for food. The place was chaotic to say the least there was no focus and they jumped from one order to another without completing the first order they were working on. read more

To say that this brand new restaurant was a bad experience is a gracious understatement. My friends and I came to this Whataburger for the first time, not only at this location, but the first time ever going to a Whataburger. We ordered our food at the front and could hardly hear the lady when she asked us questions about the order. We paid got our ticket and sat down. Usually a fast food restaurant like this takes a maximum of ten minutes to get your food out to you. Not this place. After about FOURTY FIVE MINUTES of waiting I go up to the counter to ask where my food was, and somehow they don't know who I am even though I just ordered. So after explaining that we haven't received our food yet, they finally say "oh ok we can get that to you soon I guess". Umm what? I go sit back down and patiently wait for my food, when one of the workers comes to our table and asks what we ordered. The fact that they somehow lost our ticket in a brand new high tech restaurant blows my mind, but I tell them again. By now I choose to wait at the front for our order as we reach the hour mark with no order, which was not excessive in any sense, a burger combo, a chicken sandwich, and fries. They go back and say that they are going to make it "as soon as possible, and after another 5 minutes I still have not received my food or an update of any kind. So AGAIN I ask to see if it's coming out. I don't want to be a pain but waiting over an hour for FAST food completely defeats the purpose of having it at all. Then our food comes out and a lady comes up to us and asks, "is this yours are you guys the re-order?" as she hands us our food. We say "maybe let us check" because at this point I don't have an ounce of trust left in the workers at ALL. Then for some miraculous mind-numbing reason she says "yeah I don't really know, she told me to give it to the kid WITH THE WEIRD HAIR". IMAGINE insulting someone after losing their order and making them wait an HOUR for food that isn't even that good. You guys don't even want to know that they forgot to give us our fries and dipping sauces. What an absolute JOKE of a restaurant. Go to Culver's, Five Guys or In-And-Out where they treat you with respect and remember your order. read more

Went by there for a breakfast, very disappointing. The service was slow, almost 10 minutes in line. I ordered the Breakfast on a Bun. It was the driest sandwich I have ever eaten. The eggs were over cooked and there was maybe one piece of bacon and very little cheese. See photo. I expected more for the money I spent. After spending 40 minutes waiting in the drive thru (blocked in by one lane drive thru and someone up my trunk) and hearing great things about this chain (from Indiana) it was awful, the food was lukewarm at best and the quality was meh, my assumption on why the drive thru was slow was your typical staff standing around in the drive thru instead of cooking fresh food... clearly you guys didn't learn this from the franchise, I'd be ashamed of your Athens Whataburger. P.S. please don't open in Indiana Culver's and even Steak & Shake would destroy you. read more
