Delicious! The patio was great to sit on at night during the warm weather. There are heaters and…read moreblankets available if needed. There was a slight wait so if you are impatient, go early. The dishes come out very quickly so when you are seated you'll eat fast! Everything is meant to be shared family style. Oysters were delicious. They were served on a pile of spice which was nice to dip the oyster in for more flavor. I have not had them this way before. The crab cakes were SO meaty. Almost no filler in these. Really good flavor. Scallops- one of our favorite bites. Seared perfectly. Some crunch with the toppings. Duck tacos- slight hint of spice to these but delicious. Roasted roots- I could eat a thousand of these plates. The golden beets and carrot combination was amazing. The vinaigrette was so well balanced I could not stop dipping in it.

We sat out on the front patio. I recommend you try sit there if you can. Our server was super friendly and made us feel like the only patrons there, taking the time to walk us through the menu and help us consider pros and cons of menu items. The food selection was eclectic, with twists on common fare. We ordered the Kale & Brussels, Prosciutto Toast, Scallops, and Octopus all of which had amazing presentation and great taste. Prices were high but it was easily justified by the high quality food and service. If you're in Bar Harbor and want to take a break from chomping on lobster rolls at touristy spots and want an upscale dinner that doesn't disappoint, make Project Social a priority.

We had the cheese plate and salmon toast as tapas...the preparation and presentation were exceptional and the flavors stand up to the "chef" domains without the pretentiousness. We followed with the duck skewers...again the flavors and textures were blended to perfection. Don't mistake this for a cocktail bar only...it can compete with the best restaurants. The selections are limited, so check the menu before you commit, but the culinary experience will rock your boat. They don't take reservations, so I recommend dining there around when they first open as we only had to wait 20 minutes for a table. While we waited we were able to get drinks at the bar and walk around the flower gardens, I mean can you think of anything more New England summer? A must order appetizer is their roasted chickpeas, they are simple yet out of this world as they are inedible flavorful and have a nice crunch! Pro tip: they are the perfect crunch to add to their garden salads! The pizza was also amazing and are piled high with toppings!

No. But it's a nice healthy option if you want to lay off the butter and lobster for an evening or just want more veggies in general. I personally wasn't a fan of the customer service. The waitress looked very annoyed with our questions and had to repeat one things to us about an entree. We felt like an inconvenience and when we wanted a side or water, it was very difficult to flag our waitress down. When asking another waitress-- they also appeared annoyed. Potatoes and veggie shareables: The best it can get. You can tell the chef really put his heart into these recipes. I should have just ordered more of this. Pizza: It looks great but lacked so much flavor. It fell apart so quickly, couldn't even hold. The crust was also overly burnt. The pepperoni is "local" but way too spicy for a typical pep. They need a sauce to help cool down the spice-- I'd say ranch-- but maybe the chef can come up with one better. It was one of the worst pizzas I've had. Cocktails: Tasty and refreshing. I wasn't drinking but went with Hop water. Adding a lemon to it helped brighten it up-- surprised that's not offered. A great one time experience!

Sweet Pea's Cafe - We loved that this is located north of Bar Harbor's downtown area so it's much quieter and such a beautiful setting.
