Wetzel pretzels, you gotta do better. An employee was rolling out the dough with a spray can.

If I could give a -10, I would. Wetzel pretzels, you gotta do better. After we ordered one of our favorite mall treats we were alarmed at what we witnessed. An employee was rolling out the dough with a spray can. A manger caught me trying to record as she passed behind and quickly went in and whispered to the employee who stopped what she was doing and changed tasks. Certainly a health code violation.

I stop by this Wetzel's at Arrowhead pretty much every time I'm here. The Cin-A-Bits are always fresh and the service is quick. Never had a bad experience.

Was also told icing and cheese was at the bottom of the bag. We did not get the icing and cheese we paid for. Now I am already at home and I am very upset with you. And my bags were not even filled up to half. Bad Wetzel's pretzels.

Oh if I would I could! Soft warm pretzels dipped in melted cheese for the softer ones and mustard for dipping on the Chewier ones!!! Mmmmmmm I wasn't into dating in high school but needed a pretzel every time we went to the mall for sure!!!! I picked up a pretzel and a side of cheese for my husband on the way out of the mall. The $4.89 pretzel with a side of cheese and tax came out to $8.35. They have thr exact same menu and pricing at Wetzel's as Auntie Anne's at the opposite end of the mall downstairs as well. Same printed out card and everything. I couldn't get Yelp to work at the mall and looking up the hours online showed Auntie Anne's already closed though they weren't. My husband was happy with the pretzel though he thought it was greasy. He was able to enjoy everything warm having a microwave at work. Service was friendly. It was nice they still had a fresh selection even though it was close to the mall closing.

How can you not go to the mall & not get Wetzel's! I love pretzels! They are delicious when they are fresh cause they are soft & fluffy. The bites & pretzels are both good. The salted ones are good with cheese as well. Just cost abit extra for cheese. They have plain, salted, cinnamon, pepperoni, jalapeño & even hot dog bites. So many flavors to choose from. They also have cheese sauce or jalapeño sauce. Also they have Wetzel's Pretzels on both sides of the mall now. One by Macy's & one by Dillard's.

That, and the fact you could watch them making pretzels through the window...the smell + watching them make = gonna buy something! Most likely the store has pretzel samples upon request; we bypassed that idea and ordered 2 things of cinnamon wetzel bitzs (with that sweet caramel dip) and a couple of frozen strawberry lemonades. The Wetzel bitz were good but tasted about 15 minutes old, made more palatable with the caramel dip. The frozen drinks were good, with the right amount of ice and lemonade. For me, it was a big hike up to the north side- but totally worth the haul! I grew up in the Midwest, occasionally going to one or two German restaurant/ clubs, so this was not an unfamiliar atmosphere to me. It is definitely a "seasoned" vibe, having immediately taken over the space by a former western bar/beer hall that had been in existence for 50+ years. Their menu says "German and Hungarian" but all I read was German. They have a solid European beer selection, including taps and bottles and some cocktails with a German twist. The one that threw me for a loop (in the best way) was Kriek! So ofc I got a pint. We shared a (fairly large) pretzel to start, which comes with beer cheese. Tasty, but I was genuinely shocked there was no mustard. I ordered the jagerschnitzel (pork) and just overall the meal was as expected as if I was in the Midwest - amazing, delicious, insert chef's kiss. I wish I could have joined the clean plate club. The cucumber salad was flavorful and not too sour/pickley. My friend and I both noted how umami the savory sauce was- not too bacon, not too mushroom. The potatoes were not too salty or under-seasoned. Literally willing to drive up again if/when someone tells me to go. It wasn't horribly busy so it didn't take forever to order and get everything we needed. Our server was super nice and patient. She even gave a bar suggestion that ended up being a nice cherry for the top of the evening.

There's a genuine, laid-back energy here that you just can't fake, and it makes every visit feel like you're hanging out with friends rather than just grabbing a beer. A huge part of that comes from the people. Tiffany, the owner, has clearly built something special here--there's intention behind everything, and it shows. Deidra behind the bar is always attentive, on top of it, and great to talk to--she makes you feel taken care of without ever being over the top. And then there's Kyle...absolute character in the best way. The kind of bartender that brings personality to the place and makes every visit a little more memorable. The beer lineup is outstanding. Their in-house brews are dialed in, and if you know craft beer, you'll appreciate seeing things like Drekker sours on the guest tap list--hard to find and always a hit. And their Trick of the Light IPA from Throne? Absolute standout--crisp, balanced, and dangerously easy to keep going back for another. The food deserves just as much attention. The burgers are legit--juicy, flavorful, and cooked right every time. The sliders are perfect if you want to mix and match or just not commit to one thing, and the onion rings are next level--crispy, golden, and honestly some of the best you'll find anywhere. What really sets this place apart, though, is how unique it is to the area. It's not just another brewery--it's a true community spot. Places like this are rare, and they only stick around if people show up and support them. If you appreciate great beer, great food, and even better people, this is one of those spots you want to keep coming back to.

We come to find out as we delivered the burger to our family member that what was boxed up for us was just a meat patty. Nothing more, just a patty. I have no idea what we paid for this, as I declined my receipt--but in what world does a customer order a meat patty to go? Can't say I'll be excited to come back to Pedal Haus as there are several different breweries nearby that likely have a good burger that isn't just a meat patty.

The service throughout the visit felt slow and disorganized. After our food arrived, no one checked back on us at all. We were especially looking forward to trying the brown butter cookie for dessert, but since no one came by, we eventually had to flag down a server just to get the check.
