LeRoi, the facility manager (hope I have the right spelling here) is amazing. Very hands on and extremely helpful through the process. I moved across the country and needed a spot for a bunch of items and could not be more pleased with the professionalism , cost and cleanliness of the space. 6 stars. ASK FOR LEROI and you'll be treated right!! p.s. The facility also has multiple loading carts on hand that make loading in and out very easy. DO NOT REMOVE THEM FROM THE PREMISES! These are extremely helpful and needed and aren't cheap!

So here's the story…read more.. I responded to a CubeSmart advertisement on their website for a 10x7x8 unit and reserved it. I was told 5 minutes later in email after I reserved the unit that there wasn't any 10x7x8 units available but would be given a 5x15x8 unit at the same price. Miraculously my things fit into a 5 x whatever space, so I agreed with some suspicion. They are still advertising 10x7x8 units after switching me to a 5x15x8 a week later. So the first round of paperwork comes in and the numbers all add up, so I signed. Then, a week later - for no reason - I receive an email stating my unit number changed, asking for me to resign the paperwork. This paperwork had the unit at $15/mo a month more than the previous paperwork I had already signed. Good thing I read paperwork, they almost got away with some classic bait-and-switch. At the end of the day, these are your personal goods, your family heirlooms, things you care about. Take this cautionary tale seriously before you entrust this group with it.

We signed up for a storage unit in October. Pleasant staff, lovely storage unit. There was a guy in…read morethere who had multiple units and we overheard him talking about how much the price had increased, which should have warned us off. Alas, they raise the rent every few months. Started out at $87 and in less than 7 months, they've raised it to $197. We're taking our business elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I was the very first customer at the Hawthorne facility decades ago. I was there until a month…read moreago. Everything that was good had turned bad. By the way, their site adverises 562 5 star reviews, but you should read some of them. You won't see mine, I'm betting. It started with the every-three-months rent increases. If I'd stayed, I would be paying close to $7,000 a year for a 10x15 space with no electricity at a storage site where the front gate hasn't been reliably closed in over a year. The tenant over me decided to store two large bags of ice melt which liquified and dripped into my space causing hundreds of dollars of damage. Another tenant (same one?)) complained that the generator I used to keep batteries charged was leaving "smoke" in the climate controled area. That wasn't true, but I bought outdoor cable covers and moved the generator 30 feet away against the fence. A year later I get a call telling me that "corporate" didn't want anything "electrical" going on and that I couldn't use the generator. Note that I used a Furman industrial power surge protector (for trickle chargers...).Funny thing: at least two other renters used their generators at the same site. I needed to get tree sap off my wife's car and all my cleaning equipment was at Hawthorne. Site manager sees me and says "This isn't a car wash". He also related that another tenant had complained that I had washed a motorcycle there. Horrors! US Storage is at least the fourth owner and operator of this site, and they successfully drove me out. NIce work.

They were on time and always update me what they were doing. The mover guys helped me carry a lot of stuff at home. They saw I had my baby with me and couldn't do much. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Pack & Go Movers, and I would not recommend this…read morecompany to anyone looking for a smooth or professional moving process. One of the movers, Brendan T., was unfriendly and unprofessional throughout the job. He inserted earphones during the move, which made communication unnecessarily difficult and came across as disengaged and inconsiderate. There was little effort to be polite, welcoming, or collaborative, which is the bare minimum you expect when trusting people to handle your belongings. The second mover Rocco C. was somewhat more professional and did offer occasional advice, which I appreciated. However, when it came time to pack the cube, his approach felt careless and dismissive of my concerns. Rather than being helpful and solution-oriented, the process created more stress and confusion, ultimately causing additional headaches instead of providing the support I hired movers for in the first place. My biggest issue was with the office representative, Mari. Pricing was not communicated transparently. I was not informed ahead of time that charges were calculated per item moved rather than per hour, which led to unexpected and significantly higher costs. The office representative was adamant in charging me extra for an item that we previously discussed. The way this was handled felt misleading and came across as an attempt to overcharge. Overall, the experience lacked professionalism, clear communication, and customer care. I absolutely do NOT recommend using this company. Don't be swayed by any discounts or these five star reviews. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a reliable, reputable moving company.
