Very convenient, clean and efficient location. I like that its Climate control. I would have loved to rent a storage here but the hours are so incovinient. You only have access to you stuff Monday to Friday 9a-5pm. So If I don't have access to my items before I get in to work or after, then when? They should really work on that and make it more accessible for people who are at work during those hours. read more

Peter Coyne the Associate who works in the Elmsford, NY location was wonderful to work with and very professional. Plus the rest of the staff could not be more accommodating. Everyone was great. We have been renting here at this location for a few months, and this facility is immaculately clean with climate control air conditioning/heating throughout. When walking through the doors on the first floor there are dolly's for you to use to bring your stuff to your assigned room, a hand sanitizer for your hands, and a bathroom. Please note this is not a 24hr facility. Honestly, if we ever had to rent a storage room in the future this is the facility we would come to. I recently helped an elderly friend close her storage unit at Westy's Elmsford after 16 years. I found the facility to be very nice, very clean and very well lit. Auto doors make going in and out very easy. Always a bunch of carts available for use. Two big elevators so never a wait to go up to your floor. A clean bathroom available on the lobby floor and a toys for tots table setup for the holidays. The most awesome employee is Vijay! He's SUPER NICE and is happy to answer any questions. Closing the account was very easy and Vijay said I would have my security deposit refunded in 3 to 4 days. read more

Let your belongings live in luxury! I was given a tour after inquiring about a unit and felt like I was in a hotel more so than a place for storage. To their credit, this place is clean, gets a lot of natural light and is climate controlled. I was told your rent is guaranteed to not change for two years which is nice however, upon signing up, tenants are required to leave a security deposit and the first month's rent. The cons: Tenants can only access their unit during business hours which can be an issue if you work into the late afternoon / early evening. A slight turn off for me was when I mentioned another storage company to the employee who was giving me the tour. In response, she proceeded to bad mouth them saying the place is dirty and poorly maintained when I know that is not true (sorry, not dropping any names). read more

My husband died suddenly and left me with two storage facilities at Westy in Elmsford. I felt so lost but the entire staff, especially Arlene and Peter, were compassionate, helpful, and knowledgeable. After I cleaned out the first unit they offered a refund for the month my husband had paid. It was posted promptly to my credit card. Stuck with unwanted furniture from my sister-in-law's apartment they walked me through options: donate to charity vs. paying a mover to take it away. Because no charity would take the sleep sofa, I decided to go with the mover, who was fantastic--especially for getting the huge sleep sofa into my house for the guest bedroom. The facility is immaculate, with convenient carts to load/unload, adequate lighting and convenient parking. read more

My father passed away and they threatened to auction off the material in his storage bin. That's some of the worst customer service you'll ever find. My sister and I both live hours away but the second we're able to get to the storage facility, we're removing all of his belongings. read more
