    Breakfast nook next to pool

Hard to see how this was rated 2 stars when we booked it. We had great accommodations, the room had a fridge, sink, et,. There were two pools, one cool and one warm. All that and it looked this this.

Don 't waste your money! Dirty! No USB receptacgles in room. No soap dishes in shower. Had kitchen but no knives or towels . Poop on pool cement for 3 days. Took him 4 hours to clean up the poop. Called Manager and Emailed but he was not resolving issues. asked for a refund. no response. staff does not speak English! poor non existing management. use to be nice but not now! they have not kept up! I was told that Key West is not for me by desk. Stayed a week and it cost me over $4,000. Never again. Breakfast was continental and had to ask for juice and milk. got sick for 2 days on what they had. no refrigeration on condiments. poor judgement! dirty floors. heard a lot of complaints from others.

Amazing hotel in key west! Perfect for a weekend getaway, walking distance to everything, but also next to a bike rental place that was awesome! Quiet hotel, 2 beautiful pools, great AC in the room, amazing maid service, and a free continental breakfast! Would defiantly recommend this hotel!!

Great quiet hotel. We had a room upstairs of the house which they all have their own bathrooms and mini fridge. Pools were awesome! One heated one not and the plants were beautiful

What a beautiful and peaceful inn. Good location, within walking distance to just about everything. Had an absolutely lovely vacation.

such kind staff and beautiful location. Parkings a little difficult so be prepared to walk, but overall very homie and seclusive. It's about a 10 minute walk to the main road of devaul street which isn't bad at all but i prefer driving around the island for the beach anyways. My favorite part about this hotel is the breakfast vouchers for the bakery down the street- best danishes i've ever had in my life- and the pool which was pretty much always empty when I was out. great find for my family!

Beware when making reservations for this hotel especially if going through Booking.com They take your money, make your reservation and then never let you cancel unless they can keep your money! Booking.com says "talk to Westwinds " while Westwinds says, "talk to Booking.com"! I thought there was a law where a person has 24 hrs to cancel any purchase/contract with a full refund however this place gives no refund and charges you 9 months in advance. Very poor customer service!!!

Very nice hotel. The rooms are separate buildings on about two city lots. Outside landscaping was beautiful with two swimming pools. Inside our room was spacious with a nice couch, four chairs and table, large king size bed, and small desk area. The bathroom was also spacious with a walk-in shower. They state no children under 6 and with children between 6 and 12, you just have to sign a form understanding there are no lifeguards or fence around the pools. If anyone was looking for a very comfortable and special place to stay for their trip to Key West, I would highly recommend staying here.

The customer service is terrible. This is the third year we have stayed and apparently is under a new Managment. Frozen muffins, stale cereal, but the hard boiled eggs were warm(nasty). They did not restock room with toilet paper once during our stay. Someone apparently was to bed around 3pm nightly and up at 7am with tap shoes on all week above us.

Appreciated that they had parking on site, and they rent bikes for $15 a day, which makes for getting to Key West attractions easy. The included breakfast is remarkably varied for a smaller location with hot and cold options. Great way to save some on the food bill. We'd definitely stay here again.

This impressive Queen Anne Victorian style house was designed as a one-bedroom mansion. He became a wrecker and with his massive fortune, built eight mansions in Key West and became Florida's first millionaire. His daughters wed wealthy men as well. The pluses include a beautifully maintained courtyard and pool area with all manner of palms and tropical plants that are very well cared for, and a pool that manages that Goldilocks just right magic of being refreshingly cool during the day and almost bath water warm at night. Whatever temperature you're looking for it to be, it is. So many hotel pools and the keys aren't heated at all, which they really need to be in order to be comfortable in the winter season, and others are overly hot so they aren't comfortable during the daytime. This one is perfect, and azure blue. La! I found the bed extremely comfortable and the room very well kept and clean, although I can see where many travelers would find it cramped. We wound up in room 13, which I think probably offers the quietest location within the complex as well as a slightly more sizable room than some of the others. My husband found the noise from the neighboring pub distracting when trying to fall asleep, but I thought the room was incredibly well soundproofed considering the amount of hustle and bustle in this busy tourist area. You will also hear airplanes taking off and landing here, but you also hear them everywhere elseon the island, and with the window air conditioning unit on high fan at all times I found the city noise was almost entirely drowned out. The ceiling fan, however, was unbalanced and when we had the repair person come look at it he said it's fine, which is certainly wasn't. My only disappointment in our visit was that the breakfast that were included were pretty meh. I've been spoiled on staying at b&B's where the breakfast was a huge part of the experience, and here I felt like every single breakfast we had I could have made much better at home. Especially in Key West where there are three creperies within a 3 minute walk of each other, the breakfast game is strong, so when you aren't bringing your a game it really shows. The manager of the facility and most of the staff were incredibly friendly and seemed to truly enjoy and take pride in their work, which made our experience extra enjoyable. We also enjoyed chatting with fellow guests in the charming breakfast nook and comfy poolside seats. We stayed here for four nights and stayed at the far more expensive Southernmost Beach Resort for one night during our recent visit, then spent a week with friends who live in the area. The room was much larger at Southernmost, but much more problematic and less painstakingly cleaned, and radically less soundproofed than our room here. On a future visit we would stay two extra nights here for the same price.
