Never do these kinds of posts but feel too strongly not to and want to warn everyone I can. Experiencing THE WORST customer service from my new insurance company GEICO and Westway Collision center in Carrollton, Texas. I was in a wreck a month ago and GEICO steered me to their "preferred " body shop for repairs. Fast forward a month later -car still in this incompetent shop and GEICO has stopped rental coverage within a week of getting the car back, refusing to extend my coverage. Of course car repairs and part delays are beyond my control so I would expect GEICO and Westway to make it right.. loaner car, pay Enterprise rental for the delay or extend my rental coverage. Nope--now I'm out of pocket for keeping the rental through repairs when timely repair of my car is completely out of my control and Westways responsibility. Todd Combs and Boyce Willis--How do you sleep at night screwing your customers? Extremely bad business, zero counterparty partnership on behalf of a mutual customer, lack of integrity coupled with deplorable customer experience = I am WARNING everyone I can about these two companies and their business practices. Yelp, customer reviews on every sight I can find.. the lack of service is a reflection of the character of your companies and how much you DONT VALUE your customers. When this is your response and your playbook puts dollars first and clients last the sad truth is your business eventually pays the price and profits suffer. I recently HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE. I had to go back to their shop maybe at least 20 TIMES to fix the same car. It took them more than a year to fully fix it and even when it was fixed the front part still broke from parking my car. I literally cried in-front of the manager but they still said they wouldn't fix the car since it was my fault for not parking incorrectly. I drive a GT63S STAGE 2 tuned, getting downpipes this week but aside from that Ali and Khalid and their team provide the best customer service EVER! After getting my car tuned I had too much fun and burnt out my rear tires took it to Westway and ali did his magic got me new tires in and out within 2 hours having to locate and install was a impossible task but he made it happen. Then later on had more fun and wore my brakes out heavily METAL ON METAL. Ali spiced and found me the right parts and got me in and out same day! I can't appreciate them enough for their customer service and satisfaction. Personally never had bodywork issues on any of my cars but if I did I'd definitely go to Westway! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE READ BELOW. March 11th our car got towed here, due to a hit and run that smashed in our back end. Our insurance company "Geico" uses westway for collision repair and our insurance company told us it's best to use the people they provide so everything is under warranty. We get our car back the end of May - beginning of June. We haven't even had our car back a week yet. Apparently they didn't put it on right or tighten the brake caliber, so the car had to go back, it is now June 26th and they're waiting on the part to fix it. They said they ordered the wrong part so they had to reorder. Every time we call to see how much longer we'll be without a car, we have to sit on hold and they act like they don't even know his car or him. Then come back and say oh the guy working on your car isn't here call back. Every time we call. I will never ever use westway again!!!!!! 4 months without a car is unacceptable!!! Especially having to wait 2 to 3 weeks on a brake caliber, when it only takes an hour to change. We still don't know when we're gonna get our car back. This has been a huge inconvenience!!!!!!! Never again!!!! UPDATE: we got our car back Wednesday the the 28th late afternoon. On Friday evening June 30th we noticed additional damage to our front end then They try to sloppily paint with a paint marker silver paint all over the front end of the car to hide the damage that they did. I just got my car back after 4.5 months!!! I didn't receive a phone call literally One. Single. Time. This is a warning, do not go here under any circumstances. While they had my vehicle. My insurance was sending payments because I was in an accident and after a month with no communications or progress/payments issued I called to ask what was going on and Westway said that my insurance wouldn't approve a supplement and I should "probably call them". Then after that was resolved Westway said the part that they were waiting for approval on was on national back order and there was no delivery date estimated. I searched for the part they said wasn't available and found it both online, at a dealership in a city about 30 minutes from them/me, and I had another mechanic that said he had located one. They refused all 3 saying it wasn't the right part despite matching part numbers. Several weeks go by and I happen to call a Toyota dealership in my city to search again and they tell me that they work with Westway and could track the part for my car with the VIN number and we find out that the part was delivered to Westway 8 days prior! So Westway said they hadn't even ordered it yet but they had AND it had been delivered. I had to 3 way call with my insurance and Westway said that they definitely didn't have the part and refused to give me the part number of the delivery from 8 days ago to try and match it; instead stating they would have someone call me the next day to get everything figure out. Guess who had to call them instead?! It was me. Every. Single. Time. So the next day they say yes we actually do have the right part and we'll cover the 8 days of car rental because of it and I am thinking "great, surely this is the end of it." But I couldn't have been more wrong. During this time I've sent 2 emails requesting updates twice a week after being asked by the GM Boyce how often I would like to be updated. They never called me not once. It's astounding really. They told me after they put this part on they will be able to see if there are more things that need to be done. When I call for an update on 9/23/22 with my insurance they say 3 more weeks. I call 2 weeks after that they say 10/25. I call the Thursday before 10/25 they try to tell me another 1-2 weeks!!! I tell them they need to cover my rental car for the weekend of 10/27 since they have told me a different thing every day and Noah (who I always spoke with except for once or twice) tells me "ok it'll be ready today Friday 10/27 around 3pm". Guess who never called. Surprise! It was Westway. So he lied to me in order to avoid paying for the rental and having to deal with that. On Monday 10/31/22 I waited until 11am to call. I thought surely they would call with an update if nothing else. They in fact did not. So I call and Noah says a pinstriper is coming at 3pm or I can pick it up now and they can "do the work at a later date." So I picked up my car because at this point I don't care about pinstripes and I need my car that Im still making payments on and having to pay my insurance even though I haven't had it for almost half a year.One side was already pinstriped so idk what that happened there. I almost lost my apartment due to being unable to take as many jobs (contract worker) during all this to these unprofessional, incompetent and or possibly intentionally malicious "people". No matter what, if they're incompetent or being petty and hurting me on purpose it's scary and ridiculous that they are even operating. I know I can't be the only one. This is a warning, do not go here under any circumstances. I'm aware this gets said often but I really mean it when I say I would give Westway negative stars if I could. I just read another review from someone that went there in July of 2021 and had a smilier experience, I thought when I researched back in June and I was looking for a place to go that they had 5 star ratings on google so now Im wondering if they're either faked reviews or something else suspicious is going on. read more

Obtained a repair estimate for simple repair to molding and restoration of headlights; on 3/2/23; after multiple calls, and paying a deposit, was advised to bring my car in on March 30, 23; then received a call advising that the part never came in. I paid $20.00 in Uber charges to get back and forth. NEVER got a proper explanation as to the reason why it was represented to me that the part was in. I called every day since April 1 asking for status, only to be told I would be called back. Today was advised they are refunding my down payment, and will not do the repair. No explanation, as to why they don't want to do the repair, or offer to fund my UBER charges. HORRIBLE PLACE read more

My guys at Westway Collision Center are all about what's best for their customer. This was my second encounter with them unfortunately due to the worse drivers in the country so I immediately called them up after the accident. Not only did Omar get me one of their loaner cars, he handled my case with the insurance company as if he was a lawyer too. My insurance company was giving me the run around since it was a total loss but Omar and Adam handled them like the bosses they are. I honestly feel so honored to know them being a black, single mom from Mississippi to be able to trust in these guys like brothers. They discovered that the bumper was missing, recommended a wheel redo, and having yellow headlights refurbished. The price was very good and they took their time. I will never recommend West Way Collision Center, they provided terrible service. From the start they were very eager to earn my business but once they had my car I did not receive a single phone call from them, I had to constantly call and get updates and when I did no one knew when the car would be ready or what stage in the repair it was in. I had my car picked up from them Friday May 21st and I just now got my car back Thursday June 24th. I was supposed to get my car back 1 week ago but they did an extremely poor job, paint was chipped, residue was left on the car, they "fixed" my trunk and it wouldn't open properly. Tint was scratched, the Nob that releases my wiper fluid was never reattached, the tools used to lift my car were just thrown in the trunk, and the left taillight was out. I came back a week later to get my car picked up and it still wasn't ready, I called them at 4 PM earlier today (it's is now 8PM) and I was told it was perfect and ready to go. My left taillight was still out, the tint was still scratched, the loose parts were glued on in a sloppy manner where all the glue was oozing out the sides. I am now waiting for them to fix these issues before I take my vehicle. I had such a terrible experience and the whole way through I was told excuse after excuse. They need to get a quality check manager to review the vehicle BEFORE telling a customer to pick it up. Extremely unprofessional and I will never bring my car here, or ever recommend anyone I care about here. read more

Westway Collision Center took extremely good care of my elderly father while I was out of town on business. They were at the scene of the accident within MINUTES. The whole process was smooth and seamless! They towed his car back to the shop and immediately put him a late model loaner car. They took the hassle of dealing with the insurance adjuster and claims department out of the equation. My father was so impressed with their professionalism and customer service he would not stop talking about them for days. When it finally came down to picking up the car we were shocked. The car looked like it had never been in an accident! Amazing work! They even took the liberty of detailing the car, putting FREE tint on it (my father mentioned to them his sensitivity to light) and even did a ceramic coating on the paint. I was honestly so impressed that I decided to bring my vehicle in to take care of some long over due body scratches and dents (some hail too!) I HIGHLY recommend their work and business ethics.
