It's unbelievable that this company gets such high reviews. The level of unprofessionalism that I encountered is beyond baffling. I contacted Westmod based on its excellent Yelp reviews and set up an appointment with William. On the day of the appointment, he never showed up. I texted him and he replied that something else came up and it slipped his mind to text me. I figured everyone makes mistakes and should be given a second chance, so I rescheduled with him for another appointment at a later date. He showed up on the second appointment and we went over all the things that I was looking to do: pool remodel, new concrete, new pavers for driveway, a block wall, and landscaping work. I had prepared a sizeable budget for the entire project. He indicated that everything on my list is within the scope of his company's work. He promised to get the estimate to me in a day or two. I hadn't heard from him for almost two weeks despite several texts and phone calls to his cell phone. Finally, I decided to call the office to find out what's going on with him, maybe there were extenuating circumstances for his delay in getting back to me. A couple of hours later, I got a text message from him saying that the project "isn't something we would perform." I tried to find out what is the reason and have yet to hear back from him. All in all, I wasted over a month trying to work with this company. It's mind boggling to see all these glowing reviews in direct contrast to my disappointing personal experience. As I am wrapping up writing this review, I just got a call from Nick, the owner of the company. He apologized for my awful experience but could not explain any of William's behavior. I appreciate Nick's call and I am raising my rating a notch to a 2-star. read more

I am truly thankful for these guys! They played a huge part in building our dream home for us. Their work sparks joy for our family on a daily basis. And we've been able to spend several days and evenings (and so many more to come) hosting family and friends enjoying good times! We bought a toll brothers new construction in porter ranch in the westcliffe community. We love the house, but they literally deliver it you on dirt - the entire front and back yards are literally just dirt. We've never built a pool/yard from scratch, so it was definitely a learning process. There are a handful of contractors that build the majority of yards in our neighborhood and we spoke to a few of them. We met with Nick and knew early on that he was our guy. He understood the look and feel we were going for, he was patient and understanding, was organized and thorough, and he wasn't pushy at all. The product - we loved the 3d design, but the finished product exceeded our expectations! They were able to bring it to life like no other. The attention to detail is really something else. And unlike some of the other providers out there, Westmod does not cut any corners - every aspect is high-end including all the materials and the building techniques/processes. The experience - was truly high-touch white glove service from start to finish. Honestly, my biggest hesitation when I went with them was that I might get overlooked as our project was likely an average sized one for them at best. They work some projects with endless budgets and ours was not one of those. However, I felt like our project was getting tons of love and the VIP treatment, which says a lot about how they treat all their customers. Their team was understanding and responsive while we had endless questions and some decisions to make along the way. Execution and logistics - we know that in general there are 2 things you can expect with any construction/remodel project: overbudget and extended timelines. It's awesome to say that ours was done on budget and within the timeline given at the start! I was in constant communication with the team and they're really good about giving you a heads up on things. The total price did end up going up slightly, but that was only because I added a few things and upgraded some of the materials, otherwise the price didn't change at all from the contract. These pics don't do it justice (using an iphone Xs, I know pls don't judge me lol). As you can probably tell, we're super stoked with our project and extremely grateful to the entire Westmod team (you know who you are) that worked on this. Thank you so much! read more

Our experience with Westmod was incredible. The process was completely seamless. From the initial design and renders bringing our vision to life, to then sourcing the right material and finishes we were impressed and excited to see how it would all tie together. Westmod helped us to also source our permit which is usually a headache so we really just sat back and relaxed while they made sure everything was moving smoothly along. They communicated throughout the status of our permit and when we could anticipating our start date. Once we were approved they hit the ground running and moved along so quickly and efficiently that we ended up adding additional scope of work. It was not only beginning to look amazing the value was also unmatched. Our contractor Will was awesome and made sure there were always workers here on site getting the job done in a timely fashion. Even with additional work we stayed within the timeframe and had our backyard ready to enjoy just in time for summer. There were no corners cut and the end result is beautiful. Over a year later the quality of work has maintained and proven to be top of the line material. We also have been able to reach out to order more material through the team and ask any questions we need. Westmod is incredible and we would use them for any additional outdoor projects we have. We wish they did indoor so we could use them all across the board! Thank you Westmod! read more

I can honestly say I have never been more impressed and felt HEARD in a company before. I first came across Westmod on Instagram with their stunning designs and features and decided to call to discuss more. The first person who reached out to me for a design was Will who gave me the rundown of what exactly would take place and made me feel no amount of doubts in having our home in his hands. I've never had a more easy flowing but down to business type of conversation than those that I had with Will. He made sure all my requests and concerns were included and sought out so that our design would be exactly how we pictured it. Will always made an effort to make sure we felt up to date with what was going on and anytime we needed him- he was THERE ready to help in any way he could. All in all, it shows just how good it gets when an outstanding company has such amazing people running it! Not only that, but family and friends in other states see such awesome work and service we were provided and have them wishing there was a Westmod where they are! No matter what they have going on they make sure you are taken care of with whatever you throw at them. It doesn't get better than them and the work will prove it !!! read more

When we moved to our new house, we immediately knew that we wanted to put in a pool. After talking to a few pool builders, we decided to go with Westmod. Ryan was super helpful and detail oriented during the design process. Reina, Hayley, and Carlin have been wonderful with the permit process, material selection, and billing. The superstar however, was Charles. He and his team were on top of everything, dealt with several rain delays, and still get the pool in within seven weeks. Charles was communicative, always available, detail oriented, and a pleasure to work with. All in all, Westmod exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend and if you can, ask for Charles as your project manager! read more

Love love love Pool Logic. Got tons of quotes from different companies and Pool Logic won the job! The rendering was amazing and they really brought our dreams to reality. Nick, Will and Team thank you soooo much. Almost shed a tear writing this only because we will have sooo many memories in the back yard with our kiddos. read more

Westmod - Perfection - Pool & Hot Tub Service Near Me - Glendora, California

After consulting with multiple pool builders we decided to go with Westmod. It was the right choice because these guys have integrity and are experts at what they do. It was a fairly straightforward backyard pool design but it was a first for us so we had a lot of learning to do. The 3D renderings of the pool and surroundings that Ryan put together really helped us envision the final product and iron out some of the details. Once the work started, our very friendly and knowledgeable project manager Hendra walked us through the multiple steps and inspections and made sure things went as smoothly as possible. When we did run into some problems with the quality and consistency of the concrete deck (due to excessive heat on the day of the pour) they went way out of their way by agreeing to demo and re-pour the concrete, at no extra expense to us, aside from a delay in the schedule. This kind of commitment to quality work is rare and commendable and makes me highly recommend this company. read more

We had an overall amazing experience working with Westmod for our outdoor project. We had the pleasure of working with Will as he was our point of contact from the start and for duration of the project. He was always responsive and always stuck to the schedule. They were quick and efficient. We couldn't be happier with our yard renovation. I highly recommend working with them on your project, 5 stars! read more

Building out the yard of a new home -- and including a beautiful, high-end luxury pool -- is a formidable undertaking. But fortunately, I chose Westmod for the project, one of the premier pool contractors around. From start to finish, they handled everything competently and professionally. Here are just some of the things that set Westmod apart: Design excellence --Their design team is extremely creative; and cutting edge with the use of technology. They listen, make recommendations, and really help you achieve your dream. Custom contract and payment plan -- All details are clearly explained upfront, and the payments are staggered. You pay only after each phase of the work has been completed. Follow-up -- Very responsive addressing any problems or concerns you may have. They want you happy and will go the extra mile. Great people -- Project manager and crew are courteous, hardworking, and take pride in what they do, Additionally, the company collaborates with the top pool servicers and landscapers to further enhance the result. Westmod truly did a masterful job, and I have received many compliments. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend them for your pool and patio construction needs. Thank you Westmod! I have a very special case, originally I reached out to Westmod for a pool and ADU. I have to start off by talking about how amazing they are with communication. They are extremely knowledgeable and efficient with timing. Due to the type of design we had approved by the city, they were very honest and told me they can't take my project due to the architecture of the pool sitting on a retaining wall of the ADU (and they don't do ADU's.) However we ended up going with their competitive company Craftscape (they changed their name SLEEK DESIGN BUILD just a couple days ago so no one sees the amount of lawsuits they have when searched on google) to which was the BIGGEST MISTAKE of our life. So if you are considering them over Westmod, PLEASE DON'T DO IT!!!! (come to find out Craftscape/Sleek Design has screwed over 46 home owners) Instead of being honest the way Westmod was, they took our job and were unable to get the work done. Later the owner of Craftscape admitted he lied just to get our job. Craftscape/Sleek Design took 610K of our money and left us with a backyard that didn't have anything done except caissons and the retaining wall that was needed. Which was done incorrectly, since they couldn't fix it, they disappeared on us. This is where Westmod came in, they said they were now able to do our pool and landscaping. Despite the situation. They were so efficient, compassionate, and empathetic to the situation we were left in. They responded to my message right away, came out to my house to see the site, and continuously kept me updated with everything that was happening. They have great idea's and designs, they are amazing with taking your ideas and bringing them to life. All of their instagram work they post are completed projects unlike Craftscape who only fools us with renditions. Westmod has fair prices, clean work, and they get the job done with honesty. The owner is so helpful and even gives us advice on other projects, which he doesn't have to do because he isn't making money on it and is giving me his time. THIS IS THE COMPANY YOU SHOULD GO WITH!!!! You won't be disappointed. read more

Took me a while to find the right pool company. What sold me about Pool Logic was their standard with the pool equipment. I went with some cool extras they offered but was happy with what they started with, in comparison to other bids I got. AND they were the lowest price! Also, the project manager Hendra, knows pools inside out and was very informative and patient throughout the whole process. Any issues I had he would address them right away. It was great to feel like someone had my back. Especially when dealing with the city inspector! I wish that dude on NO ONE! ‍ VERY HAPPY WITH MY POOL! read more

This review is long overdue! Team Westmod did such a sensational job building my dream backyard. Together, we designed and built a pool, spa, outdoor shower, deck, driveway, lighting as well as turf! We completed construction during the pandemic and although it was difficult times, Westmod was able to get the huge job done in under three months. I would like to thank Reina, Carlin, Alyssa, Reid and Nick for making the project as smooth as possible, but I would like to give an EXTRA thanks to HENDRA, my project manager, who went far and beyond to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible, who was always available for any question I had, and most importantly for being so fantastic whenever any issues arose. Hendra was absolutely amazing! I could not have imagined this project without Hendra. besides being such a nice man, he was so informative, and supportive and helpful during the stress that is construction. Although there were many issues along the way which is to be expected, Hendra and the team made sure to always correct them. This is even true recently as issues continue to arrive, Hendra and team are still available to quickly diagnose and repair everything along the way! This has meant the world to me. And I want to say a sincere thank you. The best part about working with this great team is that the finished product came out like perfection, it wasn't cheap, but it came better than my wildest dreams and was worth the money. Westmod did a fabulous job from start to finish with my backyard design. The design process was easy and thorough and they made sure to capture all of the major elements and minor details and finishing touches so that my dream backyard became a reality. Will was an amazing project manager. Super responsive and didn't shy away from providing his expert opinion of various design elements which can be intimidating for a client. The crew was always there when they were scheduled to be there; was respectful, maintained a clean working environment and the quality was top notch. Even after my yard was complete; Will and the team is still responsive when I find minor things that require their attention. I asked for a resort style, modern yet classic backyard, and that's exactly what he delivered. Him and his team Reina and Carlin worked collectively together to make sure my design was perfect before we signed our contract. I never once felt pressured to sign and even throughout the entire building process, Ryan and Reina answered all my emails, texts, and calls. Never once made me feel like I was bothering them. Pool Logic recently completed our pool/jacuzzi/deck project. The company produced a nicer and more cost effective design over our original. We were looking for a clean contemporary look and they came up with a design that fit our taste. The company uses quality products in their construction and are fairly rapid in their execution. We have worked with Hendra Lesmana, who was our project manager. He was very reliable, punctual, courteous, customer focused, and quite pleasant to work. He checked with us on every decision in the process. When problems arose, he brainstormed with us to try to resolve them. He was quick with executing every step. Our project was a little delayed due to challenges with permitting, but the company eventually addressed the issues that needed to be addressed. Overall, I think Pool Logic delivered a quality product for the investment. Our backyard came out exactly as we envisioned and we are quite pleased with the outcome. If you're looking for the right landscape design company to partner with, Westmod is it. Not only do they deliver the most stunning designs, but their execution and professionalism from start to finish is flawless. When considering companies, we knew we were out of the build territory (we're in Northern California) for Westmod but absolutely knew we had to have a design from them given the end result of their previous projects on their instagram and website. They also have other great reviews and testimonies which made us feel comfortable right off the bat! We were sad to know we were out of range to have them execute the design with the build but having them create the concept and architectural plans made us feel much more at ease. If you've ever gone through a backyard renovation you'll know the finer details are super important and boy they didn't miss any! They cared about us as if we signed a contract to build with them, when they didn't have to. Having incredibly high standards, I knew a project of this caliber would require someone special to bring our dream to fruition. Joseph and the Westmod team did not disappoint. Every step of the way they made sure that our needs were being met. They even gave us ideas we could never even have thought of. I don't write reviews often but this one deserved it. The Westmod team (Hendra, Ryan, Reina, Charles) exceeded our expectations - delivered ahead of schedule, were incredibly professional and warm, always showed up with a can-do attitude, and was willing to go the extra mile. These are phrases not often used to describe the pool building experience. We had a group text thread going for continuous 24/7 comms through the project, and they were highly responsive. Samples were delivered to our home, the subcontractors couldn't have been more professional or kind, and the Westmod team felt a sense of pride and ownership in what they were building for us - at no point did we feel we were just another hole being dug. We assumed this would take 3 months, but were done in a record 6 weeks, and the crews rotated in and out like a fine-tuned machine.
