He explained…read morethat he was quite busy and his irrigation specialist would be unable to do my drip irrigation job for at least a couple months. But Mike's business reviews, starting some 6 years earlier, were impressive. Almost all positive, those reviews convinced me to not be discouraged. I let him know I would gladly wait. Besides, I had already met with another "highly rated" Yelp contractor and was feeling rather discouraged. That guy had given me an extremely high bid. His subsequent communications and extreme bartering impressed me to be odd, bordering on unethical and untrustworthy. I knew I had to keep looking. In spite of his schedule, Mike graciously consented to come out see what was going on with my aging drip system the next week. Two weeks later, after I thought he had forgotten me, I received an unsolicited text from Mike with a genuine apology. We met the very next day. It went well. For a full hour, we discussed all my drip system problems. He made many recommendations, but his ideas were realistic and practical. He assured me that, instead of re-doing the entire system, he could take the existing drip lines and repair, replace, and improve, as needed. This meant a significant savings to me, and most importantly, much happier plants. His price quote was far more affordable. Meanwhile, while taking a look around, he noticed that my controller (timer) was misprogrammed. He asked my permission to reset everything so it would be running more efficiently, then took the time to explain everything he did. (I was ecstatic, me being the boob who had naively messed it up in the first place.) He shared some valuable tips on plant care as well. Little things like this convinced me I would be in good hands. December 2025. It was a wait, for sure, but we finally found a day to proceed on this 1-day project. He sent his irrigation specialist, Lazaro, out to my house and Lazaro was a god-send. Very reliable. Very ethical. Very hard-working and agreeable. What a great guy to have on your team. Lazaro completed everything in one day. I decided to add to the scope of work, adding a new controller unit at the same time. Lazaro ran out, bought the piece, installed it, and gave me hands-on training before leaving. And what do you know? The final bill still came to about one 3rd of the other guy's final quote. Could not be happier. An excellent experience in every sense of the word.

From the level of service, to the quality of work on our backyard, to the unmatched turnaround time and value, Mike delivers on all levels. If I could give him more stars than 5, I would. I gave him a general idea of what we were looking for and he truly exceeded all expectations with it. We have a fairly small backyard that if treated a certain way, wouldn't feel spacious. Somehow, our backyard now feels more open and bigger than it actually is and all with a modern touch. Throughout the span of the project, Mike kept a simple communication line going and was always so honest. So much so, that he gave us money back because we somehow accidentally paid more than we should've. Lowkey, I think we were just more than happy to pay the guy for how great of an experience the whole thing has been. Take our money! I told hubby we needed to fix this ASAP. He got quotes from three places via Yelp, and Jose & Jesus were the most affordable by far. They even said they would trim our tree in front! We booked them immediately and they were able to come out within days to do the work. Today they showed up right on time and got to work. They removed all the dead stuff, tilled the ground, cut back the tree, and put in all new dirt. It looks SO GREAT! Husband wasn't sure if he wanted to do the new landscaping himself, or hire somebody, so he got a quote from them and we will be hiring them soon to redo the irrigation and plant new things. On day one of the demolition phase, foreman Augustine and his awesome crew just blew my mind at how efficient, precise and hard working they were. Needless to say, I was extremely impressed and felt at ease, knowing that I was definitely in good hands. Within a week, I had a beautiful brand new retaining wall built better than ever. Equally impressive was Joyce at the office making sure I was never left hanging with questions or concerns. All my queries were handled in a timely manner. This was my very first time hiring anybody to do any sort of landscaping work. I was ignorant going…read moreinto it so I had to lean heavily into the landscapers expertise on what would be best for what I wanted to achieve. After getting a few quotes, I chose Lee's Concrete because he impressed me the most with the ideas he presented, not being pushy or sales-y, while also staying competitive price wise. He is also officially licensed for concrete. The project started around May 2025, and completed towards the end of July 2025. It consisted of concrete pouring, artificial turf installation, irrigation routing and laying out gravel/river rocks in planting areas. Also, a 2D layout diagram was provided for me to submit to HOA for approval. Below is a list of critiques ranked starting with my biggest letdowns: #1) WEEDS. Not via the concrete, but the artificial turf that was laid out. Lee offered artificial turf installs during my contractor search. My main reason for getting artificial turf was to have little-to-no maintenance. But, mines constantly has weeds growing out of the edges due the gap in the ends not being sealed. My next door neighbor had artificial turf installed by another landscaper and never has any weeds growing out of the edges ever. They had theirs installed after mine. Maybe it was my fault for not communicating that need initially. But at the same time, I thought having artificial turf laid out and it preventing weed growth on the edges would be a given. #2) Blotchy concrete coloring on front yard. My backyard's concrete coloring was pretty consistent and I was very happy with how it turned out. But my front yard was very blotchy and inconsistent. I was told that this is normal and will take about a year to cure and to give it time. Another reason was for differing "pH levels" for the area where the concrete was laid. Well... a year has passed and it has kind of improved here and there, but not so much in other parts. So, I'm a little hesitant to believe it that is actually the reason. It doesn't make sense to me that all the concrete laid out in my entire neighborhood doesn't look as bad as how it looks on my driveway. Structurally, it's fine. But it is a bit of an eye-sore looking at it every time I'm in my front yard. #3) I felt like I spent more time than I needed to checking for imperfections. A main one was my vinyl fence and cinder block wall getting dirty from the concrete pours. Another big one was the cinder block retaining wall in my backyard not being symmetrical on the edges. I had to call it out a few times to even get it fixed. Once it was finally fixed, my vinyl fence had residue from the cinderblock wall fix. By that time, I had gotten fatigue from having to constantly call out imperfections and let that one go. #4) You don't really know when the landscapers will come out to do the work. If I remember correctly, they would come out most weekdays. But, you wouldn't know if they would show up the next day or not. Not too big of a deal honestly. I'm more picky about this because I like to keep the side gate to my backyard locked and not knowing when to unlock it in the morning was just a tiny annoyance. I ended up just unlocking it first thing in the morning and locking it in the evening every weekday. Overall, I'd rate the project a 3 or 3.5 out of 5 - which I think is a very fair assessment. I'm relatively happy how it looks at the end. But there were a few bumps along the way which is why I cannot give a 5 out of 5. It pains me to write the above critiques and not be able to give the highest rating because Lee and the rest of his team were all very nice people. But there definitely could've have been improvements for the entire project.

Initial consultation went great, some good ideas were tossed around and a plan was made. Install…read morewas another thing, and the finished product really isn't anything to write home about. We went with a roof mount install. The cover doesn't fully extend over my roof line so there's a weird gap that 5 inches of roofing would have made a huge difference. The install took 3 days but left my backyard FULL of metal shavings, I'm talking all in my brand new turf and all in my pool and in the concrete floor grooves. I asked them if they had a shop vac instead of a blower so they could actually pick up the debris instead of just blowing it around and they didn't. So I spent quite a while picking up metal pieces since dogs and kids usually run barefoot in the yard. I had some outlets installed that were placed in nice looking weather boxes but I was shocked they weren't GFCI. My neighbor used this company that's how we made contact, she just had to have the gutters unclogged professionally since the top is open and flat it collects leaves and other debris, so good to note I'll have to figure out how to routinely clean up there to avoid the same issue. Was this worth the price? - meh time will tell, but so far this was the least exciting part of our backyard reno.

Johnny went out of his way to purchase the sink, faucet (both Kohler), and garbage disposal from Costco and passed the costs directly to us with no markup. The demo, new countertops, and all plumbing hookups were completed in about six hours. Our kitchen was only out of service for that single day, whereas other companies told us the installation could take several days. Not having a working kitchen for that long would have been a huge inconvenience. Inland Cabinets made the entire process smooth, quick, and stress-free. I highly recommend them.

So when Johnny came by he noticed a lot of "mickey mouse" things the flipper did to the house, dishwasher in the wrong place, sink not in the center, etc. So we ended up changing our lay out to be the correct way. In the matter of 2 weeks we had a whole new kitchen. The attention to detail his crew provides is unmatched and his prompt communication is very rare in this type of field. Can't thank inland cabinets enough for bringing my vision to life and giving me a functional kitchen.

The team at G6 Designs is an incredible family that gave us an incredible experience after a horrible start with another "company" Vic and the boys saved our ass in the biggest way after an absolute disaster start with another company (Pool Logic) that lead to a lawsuit we're still in. Vic is a man's man, he does what he says, when he says, on time, within budget and with a great attitude. We were extremely stressed from the previous company and G6 was our ace in the sleeve. After weeks of delays and promises from the "other guy" Vic and G6 came in and seamlessly integrated themselves into our pool project. Making some changes to our pool project was necessary due to budget constraints from our previous "fake contractor" stealing 90k from us but G6 helped us modify our design and simplify the process to make the entire backyard look phenomenal. Our experience with G6 Designs was nothing but positive! They have competitive rates that pack in quality products with quality customer service and labor. From beginning to end of this SHORT PROJECT (done within 7 weeks which included a week and a half of rain) we were given top-notch care in every phase beginning with the amazing virtual design video of our own backyard! After narrowing down the search to the 3 most reputable pool builders in SoCal, I spent another month nailing down a design. Jeremy was the ONLY one who was no pressure, willing to take the time to brainstorm ideas in front of a design program and did everything he could to bring my vision to life. The other 2 companies tried to steer me into their specific direction and opinions about what my pool should be - and any time I asked for a change in their design, they were visibly annoyed. Once the design was set and contract signed, Jeremy and Paul were always accessible and willing to answer any and all of my never-ending questions. Anytime an issue arose, they were both on it immediately to correct it or come up with a solution. My project was very difficult. It involved demo-ing a huge slop and running a very long retaining wall in addition to the pool dig. Like many places in the IE, my ground and slope was SOLID and access was VERY NARROW...a terrible combo. Jeremy did everything to make the process as stress free as possible and ultimately, I have the backyard I always dreamed of. The #1 most important aspect when choosing a pool builder is reputation and piece of mind. There are a MILLION companies out there but when it comes to whom you can trust when (not if) issues arise, to not cut corners and produce a pristine final product, Jeremy at California Pools - Corona is the man.

After doing extensive research and meeting with at least five different companies, we ultimately chose to move forward with Jeremy, and we are so glad we did. From the beginning, Jeremy set the bar high. He was incredibly communicative, honest, and truly focused on making sure we were happy with each phase before moving forward. He took the time to listen to our wants and needs, offered thoughtful suggestions, and helped us design a pool that worked perfectly for our family. What really stood out was how easy he was to talk to--no pressure, no salesy vibe. He never pushed unnecessary upgrades and was always upfront about what made sense for *our* space and budget. He did exactly what he said he would do, stuck to the plan, and followed through every step of the way. Even more impressive, the entire project was completed in exactly two months, just in time for the start of summer and before the arrival of our third baby! There were zero surprise expenses, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We couldn't be more grateful for the experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Jeremy to anyone considering a pool build. He made what could have been a stressful project feel easy, exciting, and totally worth it.

I had Rock of Ages Pools resurface our pool with MicroFusion glass pebble finish, resurface our…read moreslide, rebuild the slide steps, redo our waterfall, pour a new concrete pool deck, and replace all of the pool jets. Overall, we're very happy with the finished product. There were a lot of details they got right. I especially like that the pebble-colored drain covers blend in with the finish, and the cement around the skimmer lids was color-matched so everything looks clean and intentional. The waterfall came out beautifully, and the rebuilt slide along with updated rock features and new deck have completely updated the look of our backyard. The work started off very strong but slowed considerably in the middle, which seemed to be because the crew was spread across too many jobs. We also had an issue with the rock painting. The first color they used was much more reddish than what we had discussed. To their credit, they listened to our concerns and repainted it, and the final color came out exactly as we wanted. The first time they masked and protected everything extremely well for the paint, but the second time the prep wasn't as thorough, and we ended up with overspray on many of our plants and succulents. I hope the paint comes off the succulents in a few years but after 4 months it hasn't faded much, I wish this detail had been handled better for the second paint round. Eric stayed engaged throughout the project and made sure our concerns were addressed with touchups. I appreciate his willingness to make things right, their competitive pricing, and most importantly, the final result. If you're looking for a company that stands behind its work, is willing to resolve issues along the way, and ultimately delivers a beautiful finished product, I'd recommend Rock of Ages Pools.

Bogner Pools is amazing…read more When we decided to put in a pool I asked my brother who he used for his pool. He used another company and said in hindsight he wish he had gone with bogner. Bogner was 1 of 3 company's I had come out and do a bid for the project. They were easy to communicate with and worked with my schedule. During the design process they most closely got the design we wanted and knew the restrictions of the city code when they came out which kept us from getting some false promises of what could be done (which we got with one of the company's). Once we signed contract everything went just as planned. I was honestly expecting to have some hiccup as it's a large project with lots of different steps relying on another. But the various crews were all phenomenal, on time, polite and easy to communicate with. The staff at the office was always available via phone or email and was prompt in getting questions answered or letting us know of upcoming inspections. The final project is exactly what we envisioned. And I can whole heartedly say we are nothing but satisfied with the Company.
