I originally saw Fabian's ad on Yelp! I asked for a quote via Yelp! but didn't expect to hear back for a day or two... Probably through email. But no - Fabian personally called me within 1 hour. I don't know where to start, but GreenSide landscaping is clearly successful due to how Fabian runs things. I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish with how he did everything the proper way. There was no cutting corners here. What my wife and I really liked about Fabian is that when our design ideas didn't work because of budget,(we had expensive tastes initially) Fabian and his concrete guy were quick to provide more ideas for us to consider. I recommend setting your budget first before thinking up fancy ideas like I did while not having any idea how much it would cost. Our friends referred us to Fabian and his team, and we are so so happy with our decision to have them landscape both our front and backyards! We added privacy trees with drip irrigation, sod, gravel areas and mulch in some of the planters. From the very beginning, Fabian's communication is exceptional. We had a very large project of renovating our weed ridden, uneven dirt backyard. They got rid of the weeds without weed killer (per our request), installed irrigation, laid weed barrier down, brought in top soil and sod. They transformed our backyard from nothing special to a beautiful sight to see. 1. GREAT COMMUNICATION. They are quick to respond and the whole crew was very nice and respectful. 2. ON TIME. Every single day. They were at our house a total of 5 days and every single day, they were knocking at the time they said they would arrive. Even when it was suppose to be 100° they still showed up for a full days work. 3. CLEANED UP AFTER EACH DAY. During December 2022, Fabian completed turf removal at my parent's house in Chino Hills that included plantings of native plants, removal of some existing plants and grass, dry river rock bed, and installation of drip valve with drip systems. I was looking for services to change out my lawn so that I could be eligible for CA So Cal Water Smart Drought rebate. I had about 3 other estimates from other lanscaping companies and his was a substantially cheaper by two others by several thousand. Fabian was able to start on Monday and finish on Thursday.... within a week! He communicated with me multiple times to let me know of progress. Since I live in LA, all of our communication was conducted either by phone, e-mail, or text. Through our communications Fabian was friendly, upbeat, and professional. Things that I needed like esimate or receipes were provided superquick as well as his responses. I recommended him to a friend who lived in Mid LA and he was able to finish the job within days. We hired Greenside to redo a backyard that had been neglected for 15 years. The job included tearing out hearty, overgrown bushes, heavily trimming and sculpting several trees, laying sod, planting groundcover and about 20 plants of various types on our hillside, re-doing our irrigation system, and running two separate drain lines from the backyard to the street. All in all, a pretty big job. We could not be happier with Fabian and his crew. Fabian is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced, and had great input during the design phase. The crew started the job when they said they would, and arrived early each workday. Fabian communicated with us throughout the job, even sending us pictures and texts throughout the day when certain parts of the job were taking place. Even after the job was finished Fabian came by every 2-3 weeks to monitor the growth of the grass and plants and make sure they were gaining a foothold.
