Tim came out and accessed our project and the main issues that needed to be addressed right away. Our home inspector had discovered that the water damage noted in the basement was coming from poorly grouted tile in our bath and every time we showered water was running down our wall. We knew when bought the home we would need to attack the bath right away and Tim's professional, cost conscious suggestions made us feel we were in good hands. Communication was great, he was on the job and answered all of our questions. We decided to do more work than what we initially intended to do and he referred us to a great plumber who was just as professional as Sun West. They will tell you that they are doing work for huge companies and individuals and you are lucky to have them. Unfortunately for us, we believed them. First, they gave us a timeframe for installation which ended up being much later than they promised which caused us not to have our system in place for a party. Second, the wireless network that they set up had lots of holes in it. Their sales pitch promised that it would be flawless and if it wasn't, there would be no cost to us for making it right. It took them weeks to come out and analyze it and we had to threaten them to get them to show up. Finally they did.They tried to charge us a few thousand dollars more when it didn't work and blamed the house set up for the problem. The truth is they never came out and checked out how our house was set up and as a result, The system didn't work. They did put in more equipment to make it right and then tried to charge us for it. Eventually they wrote it off. But it was a fight every step of the way and the representations they made to us when we bought the system were simply over exaggerated. Third, we bought this service contract where they represented that they would be able to fix any problem that arose within a day. That simply was false. Today, we have not had I our system working for a few days and after they screwed around with it for a while over the Internet, said that they would not be able to get to it until next week. When we reported the representations that they made, they simply said we'll try, but we only have two technicians. If you are reading this note they only have two technicians that can solve problems. And now we are without our system for another week because they can't fix it. In short, these people overpromise and under deliver and overcharge also. Don't go near them. You are forewarned.

When we picked up the finished sofa last week, it was more beautiful than I'd imagined. They replaced the three old cushions with one solid cushion at our request. They made sofa arm covers as we asked. Their customer service is also top notch. Although it took a very, very long time due to a delay in getting the fabric (COVID related supply-chain issues), once Lake Grove Upholstery received the white faux leather we ordered, they immediately went to work to turn our sofa around quickly, knowing we'd been without it for more than three months. There are a lot of supply chain issues which I recognize, but I am not sure that I actually bought a production slot or just a promise that couldn't be delivered.
