However, Hamilton's decided to partner with this company and therefore only gets 3 stars. (I was debating between 3 and 4). We bought a wall unit oven/microwave in 2021 that cost about $3k. The keypad went out. The error code is clear. The system notice tells you. We told the warranty people what the error code said. Extended warranty folks required I be home half a day. They arrive and tell me the oven needs a new keypad. Really?!?! Long story short, the oven is not repaired. It is now a full 2 months we have been without. We had to buy a countertop microwave, but still no oven. Extended Warranty keeps opening and closing tickets, and then stopped communicating because about 4 weeks after we started the process, the warranty expired. Now they don't think they have an obligation to finish the repair even though it started weeks before expiration. We had to order our own part and will install it ourselves. Thank you YouTube. Remedy will be to file small claims lawsuit for the value of the part and cost of the warranty. I only hope Hamilton's makes right with future customers and refuses selling this shoddy warranty product.

I was met with a friendly phone operator that scheduled an appointment for the very next morning. The tech, Jake, showed up within the 2 hour window given, ready to work. He quickly located the problem, retrieved a replacement part from this truck and quickly installed the new part. Total bill: $235 (as opposed to spending up to $1,000 on a new machine). I knew if the former owners (who were VERY particular and took great care of this house) used Watts, then naturally they were the only place I called when our central AC died during the most recent heatwave - can you think of a more awful time for central AC to die?! Bubba was super thorough and fixed my unit. He even did some basic maintenance like cleaning to get it to its best shape. I thought I'd be waiting forever and would die in the heatwave lol, but they were able to get me in within 24 hours which I so appreciated. I'm a first-time homeowner so I don't have a comparison of what is considered "expensive," but I think in general, you get what you pay for. Other than maintenance I hope I rarely have to call Watts, but I'd recommend them for anybody who is in the unfortunate position to need repairs. :)

Follow up on my 4/9/26 old dryer repair. Chris came back after needing another part and having…read moretrouble prying off a bolt (which he took with him and worked on at his OWN home with his tools). Chris came back on 4/14/26 and fully assembled the dryer and got the old Maytag working great with a new motor and blower. No extra charges for the visit/labor. Also he checked my dishwasher and showed me how to clean the food trap and did a quick inspection. Excellent service and we really like Chris and Stellar Appliance Repair! I am old school and do not like discarding and buying new - Chris can work with older mechanical appliances and give you his best opinion on whether to save or replace.
