I want to share my very unfortunate experience with Cain dba Integrity appliances. He showed up fix a dark display on the front panel of my frig. His replacement parts did not work so he removed them & reinstalled my original parts. The frig worked & I paid him his service fee. I had a feeling this was temporary & he promised to come back with new circuit boards & fix the issue if the problem recurred within a week or 2. Very reasonable & I agreed. Well, the problem re-surfaced shortly & when I called him for follow up, he informs me that he will replace boards but charge me for them regardless of whether they work or not. This forces me to pay for a repair and hardware without any assurance of a repair. I have no problem paying for the boards if they fix the problem. This is not good business practice. To me, it's akin to taking in a car for service & being told, they would throw parts at it & the customer would pay for the parts regardless of whether it fixed the problem. read more

I had a rental refrigerator fail on me in a house I had purchased and did not want to spend an arm and a leg. We looked over several vendors and went with Cain and his Integrity Appliances. We picked up a used Bosch unit for $300. Cain came out and delivered that evening and pulled out the failed Bosch unit. Our staircase was very steep, but Cain navigated it and did a great job with the installation. Bottom-line, that was 5 years ago and that unit is still running strong in my garage even as my 36" KitchenAid Built-in died during the recent heatwave. I and the tenant were so impressed with the work that Cain did - especially going up my stairs - that we both doubled up his delivery fee. So very glad I contacted Cain to help us fix our washing machine. He diagnosed the problem quickly and then ordered the parts for us. The installation took less than 10 minute. Others who we called had suggested we buy another washer but Cain reserved that judgment until he could see the machine. He is very professional and does the job quickly without leaving any messes. Really great service! Our refrigerator's temperature went up and he was here within a few hours. He was able to repair it enough to work properly with what he had with him, then came back with new parts when they were in 2 days later for the permanent repair. No food loss thanks to him. I chose him because his answers were complete and definite and when I spoke to him on the phone he was polite and had no hesitation in giving me a possible ballpark on cost. He came on Saturday, fixed the problem very quickly, it even cost less than I'd expected and it's working great. Our refrigerator stopped working on Thursday. I called Integrity Friday evening, and Mr. Castillo was here on Saturday morning. He quickly located the problem after examining it closely, and told us what was wrong, the price for the part, and the timeline on ordering it. We chose to purchase a reconditioned refrigerator from Integrity since the prices were close. He came back Saturday evening with his son, and installed a dream of an appliance. We were given a 90 day warranty, and had the joy of meeting a dedicated repair person with a lot of integrity. His business is aptly named. He came to our house to deliver the refrigerator after having attended a memorial service, because he was aware that we would be losing more food if he waited. Terrific service before, during and after the repair. Many businesses here on Yelp have the option to request an estimate but only provided me with the cost to drive to my home, not the actual cost to repair my ailing refrigerator, no matter how detailed a description of the problem along with the make, model and year of manufacture I provided. Integrity Appliance gave me an actual dollar estimate and stuck to it... actually the price dropped from the estimated $200 to $190 when complete. They came out early on a Saturday morning, were prompt, had the required part, competed the repair in a timely fashion and were super polite. The prices were great, delivery was beyond great since he had to dolly one into a storage building and he answered all my questions. It's been 3 months and the appliances are still running perfectly.
