My staff members somehow accidentally locked a storage room while closing up for the night. Everyone's car keys, cell phones, etc were in that room and no one could leave. When I called, I was given a 30 minute ETA but someone arrived in only about 20 minutes (at this was at almost 10PM at night.) I was very relieved that they were so fast. There was a misunderstanding about an additional charge, but when I asked, an explanation was promptly given- which I very much appreciated! They managed to unlock the storage room without damage to the door handle, and saved me money in the long run. Fast and straight forward service. I would use them again but I hope I don't have to! read more

This dude was fast on a Sunday morning. $150 bucks to open my door, which isn't cheap, but hey -- it's a specialized skill and he did it on the weekend. read more

Extremely good service, very prompt in their response. The guy came within 20 mins when I locked myself out. Even on a Friday night he charged same rate as regular day job. The guy also helped mitigate the chaos that took place when another person showed up from another company via a scam call and demanded cancellation fee. He negotiated the fee for us. This company was has true professionals who know what they are doing. Highly recommend their service. read more

Andy is awesome! I needed my mailbox lock redone and my front door lock to be taken care of because my cat keeps reaching for the lever and opening the door. I called him in the morning and he came over within the hour. The front door was complicated and something he had never done before, but he was up for the challenge and it turned out to be exactly how I wanted it! Very nice guy, efficient, knowledgeable and exceeded my expectations with exceptional service. I would definitely pass him on as a referral. read more

Didn't mean to fool myself today, but I did it again. Couldn't find my keys and called Western Locksmith Sunday night. Andy was able to come by in about a half hour (I was in San Jose area) and he made copies of my keys pretty quickly. I was feeling bad because it was Sunday night, though. I appreciated that he willingly came out right away and did great job. Thank you very much! read more

Andy came on time. He was very professional and quickly made new keys for all our locks. He accepts credit cards and emailed me an invoice right away, very tech savvy. Will definitely recommend him to all my friends. read more

EH. called western locksmith to make me a new key for my motorcycle (2007 CBR) since i had lost them. Someone came out a little while after calling them. He took a while to open my gas tank (what they use to make the key). He looked at it and said he could not do it. He kept trying to tell me that my motorcycle had a transponder and that a normal key would not work even after telling him i talked to the dealer and they informed me that it does not. He left without having me pay anything but i did have to search for a locksmith that could actually do it. read more

Excellent service on getting thumb turn for Adam Rite deadlock from Andy.

Andy is great and the local expert on fixing French doors. Our French door was broken and called around for a locksmith including many with excellent reviews on yelp. None of them said they could fix it. Finally, one of them referred him to me luckily and Andy fixed it promptly. He is super responsible and technically really excellent. He is the guy that other locksmiths call when they need help especially with French doors. I'm sure he is equally great at other lock related issues. I am writing this review so he gets the appropriate recognition for his skill and service as he deserves. read more

A tenant locked himself out of his bedroom. I called Western. They were there within 40 minutes of the call and had it fixed within 10 minutes. Great service. Will use again and recommend to others. Thanks Andy! read more

I lost my keys to my motorcycle and even though it's a common bike, not every locksmith will have a blank in hand that will fit into my bike. He came by and got it started at a competitive price and even made me a spare without asking. Real life saver and will use again (hopefully, not) if I ever need to. read more

Andy is a Motorcycle Key Master! I called this business after seeing the pictures of smiling people next to their motorcycles. A lot of places hesitate to forge a key for a motorcycle but Andy is all over it. Estimated 30-60 minutes to make me a new key and knocked it out close to 30. I had him cut two more copies on the spot. They all work like butter. Andy is a super nice guy and I will absolutely call him for any future needs. read more

My wife and I were locked out of our master bedroom of our new house. I tried picking the lock with no success. That's when we decided to call a locksmith. We decided on Western Locksmith because of all the great reviews. We were NOT disappointed!! Andy was punctual, professional, knowledgable, honest and friendly. Not only did he open our master bedroom door, but we had him rekey 8 other locks that night. Highly recommend Western Locksmith! Will be calling Andy to upgrade our deadbolt in the near future, definitely my go to locksmith! read more

Andy at western locksmith came out at 8:30 on a Sunday to help us with our issue. He unlocked our trunk and made us 2 keys using just our valet key. He was referred to us by GreenKeys who we have also used, but he couldn't make it out as he was booked. He called Andy for us and Andy came out quick and fixed our problem at a very reasonable price. Awesome referral-call Western if you need a great locksmith in the San Jose area. read more

Wow. Fantastic experience! It was cold and dark out, my girlfriend, the dog and I are locked out of our apartment. I did some yelp searching and called Western Locksmith. Andy was responsive, professional and very thorough. He came within a few hours and replaced a broken handle set on the front door and re-keyed three locks at our rental home. Had my key stuck in my lock. Managed to get Andy on the phone after I got referred to him from other locksmith shops(goes on to show, even his competitors like him). I sent him a picture of what the stuck key looked like and he gave me a very reasonable estimate on the phone. Came out in an hour and fixed it like a champ. Very personable and professional. I would recommend him to anyone, anytime. Next time you need a locksmith, call Andy !! read more

Phenomenal service from Andy! After being turned down by various other locksmiths, Western was the only one WILLING and most likely capable enough of creating a replacement for my car. Programming a new key for the make and model of my car just so happens to be a complicated and puzzling process. I contacted Andy in the morning and had arranged for him to come at 4:00pm. Sure enough, he made it on time and took the liberty of stopping by a Mazda dealership to pick up a blank for my car. Little did we know that a daunting 5 hours would ensue. He worked hard at cracking my car's code every minute through. He eventually called it a night at 9:00pm and said he would come again the next day. He arrived promptly and continued to battle the car for another 3 hours. Just when I was beginning to think that it was impossible, Andy came through with call and said the job was done. I now have a fully functioning car key and saved an expensive trip to the dealership. He was very nice and informative the entire time and did not show any signs of frustration. Definitely would choose this locksmith than any other! read more

Great service, even after hours! Andy spent plenty of time to ensure that the work was done properly. Our previously stuck lock was also cleaned out and lubricated into better condition than it has been in years! read more

Oh my goodness!!! Andy, you're a rock star!!! If you need something done in an emergency, Andy is your man! I am highly impressed not only because he answered me at 10 o'clock at night...after I had called the police because I was being harassed by my ex-boyfriend's children...but because he was very reasonable (half of what the apt complex said it would cost, and they couldn't come to do it until a couple of days), courteous, and saved me from a sleepless night of worry that someone would come and enter my home during the night. Thank you so much for your help and I can tell you Andy is the smartest--I had a tricky lock set--but he did a great job and even though it took him a little longer than it probably should have, he was good on his word as far as what he said it would cost. Thanks again! Highly, highly recommended! A+++++++++ read more

I stupidly locked myself out of my apartment, and called Andy late on a weekday, past his posted closing time. He came when he said he would, and got me back in my house lickity split. Also, when I called Greenkey Locksmiths with that guy Ben with a million 5 star reviews, he referred me to Andy. So they're both cool locksmiths, and there are a lot of lame or shady locksmiths around so at least you got these two guys..! read more

Andy was amazing. He actually figured out how to add a lock to my existing slider without replacing the door handle which would have costed me a lot more. He investigated how to do it by asking for the measurements and only when he was sure came out to replace. I highly recommend him because others would not even attempt to undertake this work as it was more involved read more
