Our insurance company called servpro and they came quick to look and inspect the damage. Juan quickly came and and reassured us we would be getting new floor. And that's exactly what happened. Unfortunately, SERVPRO was on State Farm's recommended contractor list for our insurance claim. We were initially told the project would take three weeks, but it ultimately took five weeks. As a result, the senior homeowner had to stay in a motel for the entire five-week period. The following issues remain unresolved: 1. Door jams and trim work were not completed properly. Finish nails are protruding, the casing is uneven, and there was little to no surface preparation before painting. Only one coat of flat paint was applied despite the quote specifying two coats. It is also unclear why flat paint was used instead of semi-gloss on the trim. 2. The newly installed shower is approximately one inch wider than the original, causing the mixer valve to sit too far back. The valve had been replaced by our plumber prior to the project. This issue should have been identified and discussed before installation. Instead, an extension valve was installed that does not function properly. The shower head is mounted too low, the trim plate does not sit flush against the wall, and the caulking along the top of the shower remains incomplete. 3. In the master bathroom, the door is loose due to stripped screws and swings open on its own. The tile grout work is also substandard. 4. I was informed that the vanity we selected would not work. Alejandro assured me that everything would be new except for the existing drawer fronts and faces. Instead, the old vanity, fixtures, P-trap, water supply lines, faucet, and countertop were reinstalled. The quote stated that new materials would be provided. 5. No final walkthrough was conducted with subcontractors before the homeowner moved back in. The project extended beyond the estimated completion date, resulting in additional room-and-board expenses that State Farm covered. 6. The quote specified that angle stops would be removed and replaced, but this was not done. There is also an unfinished hole in the drywall near the toilet shutoff valve. 7. The homeowner moved back in over a month ago, yet the contractor lockbox remains attached to the front door. This should have been removed before occupancy. When I spoke with Josh, I was told most of the work would be completed in-house, but numerous subcontractors appear to have been involved. Regardless, the lockbox should be removed immediately. The homeowners do not want any contractors to return to the property. Overall, the project was poorly managed, communication was lacking, and the workmanship did not meet the standards outlined in the contract or expected from a contractor recommended by State Farm.

Highly Recommend Inland Restoration!…read more I was referred to Inland Restoration by a friend after my washing machine leaked and caused water damage to my wood laminate floors. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Juan, the owner, came out the very next day to assess the damage. He took his time to thoroughly inspect everything, explained the situation in detail, and by that evening, he had a clear and fair quote ready for me. I really appreciated how transparent and responsive he was throughout the entire process. We scheduled the work in two parts--first the downstairs, then the stairs and upstairs. The job involved removing the damaged laminate and old carpet, and replacing everything with luxury premium vinyl. Juan's team showed up on time, carefully moved all my furniture and belongings, and got right to work. They kept me abreast of the work and schedule along the way. They cleaned up every night and meticulous with their work. Along the way, they discovered some issues from previous installations--an uneven kitchen floor and a bedroom floor that didn't meet the walls properly. Instead of just covering it up, they took the time to fix the problems before installing the new flooring. The result is absolutely beautiful and feels like a huge upgrade from what was there before. Juan and his crew were professional, detail-oriented, and truly went above and beyond. I couldn't be happier with the results and would recommend Inland Restoration to anyone in need of quality restoration or flooring work. Thank you again for a job well done!

I recently had a slab leak in the home I moved into about a year ago, and it was a complete emergency over the weekend. I called Calmar and they responded immediately--within no time, they were at my home, started the drying process, and carefully moved all of our belongings to prevent any further damage. This is actually the second time I've worked with them--last year I had a flood at my previous home, and they handled everything from cleanup to repairs with professionalism and care. Their team is not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly courteous and respectful. What gives them a huge edge is that they are licensed contractors and don't ask for any payment upfront. They were willing to work directly with our insurance and wait for payment, which really eased our stress during such a chaotic time. If you're looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and experienced company to help during a home emergency, I highly recommend Calmar Construction. We had a major leak this past year that the owner neglected to address correctly. I expressed my concerns multiple times about moisture and possible mold, but I was dismissed. Months later, I became very sick and couldn't shake the feeling that something in the home was contributing to it. Out of desperation, we called Bud and he showed up the same day. He immediately confirmed an additional leak we didn't even know about, and found 100% moisture in the walls of my bedroom. The relief I felt finally getting answers was indescribable. That confirmation meant everything. When we had to leave that rental in an emergency and move into a new place, Bud came out again that very day to check the new home. He alleviated my fears and verified that the house was clean. Mold illness is real absolutely real and it can completely change your life. I needed to write this review because I'm beyond grateful for Bud's integrity, responsiveness, and the way he dropped everything to help when I truly needed it. I'm also incredibly thankful he validated what I already suspected, when people around me thought I was being dramatic or neurotic. I wasn't I was educated, researching, and listening to my body. And Bud confirmed all of it. I'm on the mend now, but if you suspect moisture or mold, please call this company. They are honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about the people they help.
