MDN Tile Company - Flooring Near Me - Banning, California

We hired MDN Tile to complete a tiling job on both bathrooms in our cabin at Big Bear. We are extremely happy with how everything turned out. The quality of the tile work is superb. The lines of the tile are straight, giving it a clean, professional appearance. We used them to complete the shower. The outcome was beautiful, giving it a modern, cozy looking appearance instead of a small, dark appearance. What we appreciated the most was their attention to detail. They nicely took care of the corners, edges, and even the space between each tile. Their workspace was also kept clean during the entire duration of the project. Communication was not a problem at all, and they were also respectful of the property. The value was amazing for what we had done. Both bathrooms look great, modern, warm, and high-end, just like we expected. We would definitely recommend MDN Tile to anyone looking for a quality tile job. read more

Miguel and his crew are top notch. We hired MDN Tile to do a renovation on our 3 bathrooms. He quoted me a fair price. The work done was superb. His constant communication was reassuring and never left me guessing. We are really enjoying our new bathrooms. We decided to continue our renovations with Miguel and replace our hone flooring with tile. Thank you Miguel and crew! read more

In December 2025 the 45-year-old shower in the combination laundry & bathroom of our home in Palm Springs was in bad shape.  There were many gaps in the grout, dozens of the tiles were broken, bugs were coming in and out of the shower at will, and the whole thing just looked tired and slightly moldy.  When water starting leaking into our garage when the shower was on, we decided we couldn't ignore the problems any longer.   We called six different remodeling\repair companies located across the Coachella Valley to give us an estimate of what it would cost to redo the tile, fix any water damage, make sure there were no leaks from the shower pan, and get us something that looked nice.  We made it clear to the companies right from the start that cost was certainly important to us and we didn't need anything fancy if it made the project unaffordable.   All of the companies were eager to give us bids, but there were usually three problems with those estimates:  The quotes were much higher than we expected, they couldn't begin work for weeks (and in one case, months), and the list of things we would be solely responsible for (and as such outside of the quoted cost) was frighteningly long.  We knew that remodelers want the client to pay for the tile separately, but we didn't expect that we'd have to go out a find a different drywaller to fix the walls and then a different painter to finish it up.  That would mean a new round of estimates and making sure all three different companies were available to work at the right point in time.  Yuk. About to give up on the whole idea, we decided to call a seventh and final remodeler.  Miguel Nevarez from MDN Tile came out as promised, studied the problem carefully, and listened closely to our desire to get the job done at a reasonable price, completed in a reasonable time, and with minimal need for us to go find other contractors to wrap up the remodel.  He discussed various options with us and explained how certain approaches (like using larger tiles) could save money.  There would be no need to find additional contractors as his company could do anything needed (electrical, painting, drywalling, whatever) to finalize the work.  We decided right there that they were the right ones for us and two days later, MDN Tile got to work.  It was the best house repair decision I've made in years. Miguel and his crew were great.  If they said they would be coming to our house the next day at 8:00am, they showed up at 7:55am and patiently waited for the anointed time.  The work day wasn't the usual "stop by, make an appearance, and then run off to another job" experience we've had with other contractors out here in the desert.  His workers stayed the whole day, worked their tails off, and made significant and obvious progress on each visit.  This meant that when Miguel said we'd need to get the tile or the shower kit by Tuesday, we needed to pay attention and get everything on our side of the equation ready in time.  The result of that sort of full-steam-ahead approach is that we went from a pathetic shower to something really sharp looking that we showed off to our friends in 7 working days.  During the laundry shower work we quickly realized that we had someone we could trust and be confident with when doing business.  We asked Miguel to take a look at some other issues we had in the house (some broken floor tiles in the kitchen, grout problems in the guest shower, etc.) and he gave us quotes right on the spot that we happily accepted.  When there were downtimes in the shower rebuild, he or one of his team would take care of these little things that had bugged us for years.  Wonderful. Then we took a much bigger step.  Not wanting to lose the opportunity for utilizing MDN's services, my wife decided that we should do the long-delayed remodel of our master bathroom that had the goal of converting a boring early 80s layout into something modern and luxurious.  She and Miguel discussed options and came up with a plan.  In January 2026, right after the laundry shower was done, his team came in, completely tore apart about half of the space, swapped out a big (and almost never used) tub for a walk-in shower, and covered the walls with large format tiles that evoked a Zen-like jungle experience.  We also had them put in new floor tiles throughout, replace the vanity counter with a quartz top and cool-looking sinks, paint everything, etc.  The difference was stunning.  The project was a big one, but the MDN team worked hard and steadily every day to get it done as fast as reasonably possible.  As before, the total cost of the project was quite reasonable for the scope of what was done and we're very, very, very pleased with the results. We were extremely happy with our experiences with Miguel and his colleagues.  When we need more work done to our home in the future, they'll be the first (and probably the only) people we call. Regretfully, I had a pipe break and had to redo my master bathroom completely. At first, I was hesitant to hire MDN tile company, because of the limited yelp reviews. But after talking to Miguel and reading Rafeal's review, I was willing to take a chance. Furthermore, he is licensed and insured. Finding a tile guy who is insured is not that common. I am glad I took the chance. They started quickly, did a extremely professional job and finished before schedule. In addition to working very professionally, they were also very courteous and clean. Miguel and his brother did a complete remodel of my vacation home in Lake Arrowhead it started with redoing all 3 bathrooms. When I saw the high quality of his work, I had him do the kitchen. He works with high quality cabinet and granite subs and he monitors everything so everything comes out perfect. Next I had him remove all the carpet and put in waterproof laminate flooring. It looks beautiful. It was complicated because it involved 3 floors, kitchen and bathrooms and 2 stairways Miguel is a man of his word and can be depended on. His prices are very fair. I hired Miguel and his company to work on a fairly substantial project. Master bathroom and shower remodeling and kitchen remodeling. They laid the quartz countertop and put in the kitchen backsplash and created a new shower with tile in the master bathroom as well as a new shower door. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their work. it was nearly impeccable quality with small issues that one could expect in big jobs like this. All small issues were corrected and properly addressed. Miguel and team are very communicative flexible and since I am someone who is very little experience with home remodeling and big home projects, they patiently explained the process helped with selection of materials and consulted on the proper design, formats and layouts. I am satisfied with the work that I have received, the kitchen and the bathroom look beautiful, and I would definitely hire them for another job again. in fact, I hired them to do drywall work and other small item installation at the home because I was very pleased with their work. We hired a contractor to remove a bathtub and tear down a wall in a small bathroom to have a walk-in shower installed. The contractor we hired had an emergency within his family and left town. They are a Family-Owned Company licensed and insured. They take pride in their work and show up on time, work long hours, to complete the job. I recently purchased a condo that was built in the 1970's. The master bathroom was quite dated so I put in a request on Yelp to find someone to remodel the bathroom. Miguel from MDN Tile Company was the first person that contacted me and I'm so glad he did. He was the perfect person for the job. Miguel is very professional, patient, kind and understanding. He helped me design a master bathroom that's not only beautiful but has become my favorite room in the house. Miguel and his team are hard workers that show up on time and work hard every day. He pays attention to detail and strives to make everything just right. He did more than tile work. He did electrical, plumbing and anything else that I needed. We were a little bit skeptical of using this company because it only had one review on yelp at the time. However Miguel was the most attentive contractor I spoke to and we are very happy that we gave them the opportunity to work with us. We had a big project, complete flooring of a 3330 sq ft home, including demolition of existing flooring, adding new tiles on floors, bathrooms, and laminate on upper level. Miguel from the first moment was very friendly, attentive, responsive to calls or text messages. He was quick to provide an estimate, and completed the work within estimated time. It was very easy to exchange ideas, and quick to resolve any issues that rose during the project. Out of the 7 quotes I requested to different companies MDN offered the best price. The final result was amazing, attention to details, and flawless. Will be using him again in the future. read more

Miguel was quick to respond and set up an appointment. He patiently listened to me explain what I wanted, answered my numerous questions and had great suggestions and options when asked. With any project, scheduling can be difficult when there are numerous things that have to happen in the same small space. Miguel communicated frequently on the time line we could expect and was also flexible when we needed to complete other work before his crew could return. Miguel and his crew were always polite, respectful of our home and worked cleanly. I'm grateful for their attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
