I'm a owner of a 2021 Tacoma trd pro. I purchased the 2020/2021 Tacoma Fox TRD PRO Lift kit advertised on there web site. They claim that it provides a 1.5" front lift and 1" rear lift. I had a local Toyota dealership install there kit and I ended up with a 1" lifted front end, 1" higher then the rear of the truck. Jeff the owner made a bunch of excuses and provided no remedies. I had to remove a part of his kit to fix the problem. Two trips to the dealership, two alinements at my expense. If you think I'm overly critical, go to his web site and read his claim. Visited Westcott Designs and had a great conversion with the owner, Jeff Westcott. He listened to my needs and walked me though which lift kit would be best for my needs. What I really liked is that Jeff didn't try to upsell...he simply presented options and would be good for different kinds of driving. Also, Jeff will not let you leave the shop until you're happy with the solution, including the stance, ride, etc. Jeff and his team really went the extra mile to give me exactly what I was looking for. Are there cheaper options out there? Probably are. Contacted them about 2 years about accessories for new 4runner. They didn't return my call. Fast forward to 2023, contacted them again,got the estimate and informed them my new 4runner would be here in about 2 weeks. Jacob was off, so another individual said he would give him the message to call me on Monday, but not to worry because we don't do any fabricating on Friday, so it's not like I am missing a day. Monday no call. I believe that have a good product but not great customer service. Will be exploring other options I guess. read more

Decided to do a road trip from Denver to Phoenix and have Westcott Designs install one of their lift kits on my '21 Tacoma TRD Pro. What a great decision! Love the lift and the quality of their work. It did exactly what I wanted in terms of preserving the factory ride while giving me about 2" upfront and 1.5" in the rear. Jeff and his team did a great job! Kudos to Ethan for scrambling that morning to have some 33" Toyo Open Country AT3 tires delivered that afternoon and have them installed as well. The end result...I could not be more pleased with the quality of their lift kit and installation services. I also bought bed stiffeners but have not installed them yet. Back in May I drove from the Los Angeles area to Phoenix, AZ, to have a Westcott Designs lift, and AAL and tires installed by the Westcott crew. During my visit, I met Jeff who gave me a personal tour of his facility where I was able to see first hand how they create all of their products. I was impressed. Because of the excellent customer service and outstanding quality of their builds, I decided to order rock sliders from Westcott. I placed my order on line with a little assistance from Brian through emails who answered my questions in regards to exactly which sliders I wanted to order. Once my sliders were ready, I received an email from Jessica Westcott inquiring if I needed them shipped or if I was going to have them installed at the facility (which is what I had planned to do). Knowing that they support Veterans, I was unable to request the discount on-line when I ordered the sliders. So I asked Jessica about it. My first review. I do not like writing reviews but this definitely stood out as the best customer service we have ever experienced for any products and services that we have consumed. Long story short. Jeff and his wife made a trip out to troubleshoot our hitch rack. Initially, we thought there was an issue with how the rack was sitting within our hitch (assuming our hitch was perfectly squared). It was tilting lower on the driver side. After Jeff reviewed and troubleshooted, it was determined that the hitch was not squared. Jeff helped us find a solution. We had to adjust how our hitch was attached to the vehicle to accommodate how misaligned it was. Overall, Jeff made it work flawlessly for us. Honestly, I heard great things about this company and the owner but I reached out two weeks ago when I wanted to purchase something and no one got back to me. I reached out via Facebook, via the direct website, and I even called and left a voicemail. I am baffled as to why no one would even get back to me and to want me as a customer. I do like to save and spend my money on building my 4 runner and was really interested in the dual swing out hitch tire carrier. Westcott Designs really impressed me. At first I was apprehensive due to some hearsay but ultimately decided to see for myself. Jeff met me when I arrived and we talked about the collar lift and BF Goodrich K02 tires for my 4 Runner. We inspected the truck together and they took it to the back. Jeff then took me on a tour of the place, I was very impressed with the quality of work, perhaps sexy is the wrong term but there is no better way to describe the welds on the rock sliders which I plan to get me a set in the future. One of the employees then dropped me off at the shopping center cause alas the three car rental places in the area did not have any rental cars on site. Fast forward to 5 hours later I was back at the shop and my truck was ready. Absolutely no rubbing with the 285/ 70r17's and the collar lift makes the truck look beefier. I had the Westcott Designs leveling kit installed at another shop on my new 4runner. it didn't sit level like it was supposed to so I brought it to Westcott Designs since they manufactured the kit. They looked at it and found the issue was my coil springs were warped. This was likely caused by tying the truck down too tightly causing the springs to overly compress during shipping. I didn't have the time to file a warranty claim so I was just going to buy new shocks from WD since Toyota doesn't sell the springs alone. Jeff, the owner, wouldn't take my money and switched my coil springs out with the coil springs from his display. The truck sits level now and looks great. I also bout a set of Method Race Wheels from them which they balanced and mounted for me. Good customer service wouldn't justly describe the way Jeff conducts business. He is an honest man who values manufacturing quality products and providing his customers with what is in their best interest even if it will make less money for the company. Eric sits at the front and will coordinate all aspects of of your service to ensure efficiency in getting your truck back to you. He has a wealth of knowledge and is happy to answer any questions as well as steer you into any direction you may need to go. Thanks Westcott Designs. I feel so lucky to have found these guys to work on my truck!! I called them, desperate to fix up my '08 Chevy Silverado with some new wheels and tires to make this thing look cooler. These guys helped me through every stage and nailed it with the final product. They helped consult on what would look best for this truck based on what I will be using it for and did everything to ensure performance stayed the same or was even better than before. Ethan was prompt in his correspondence and gave me a tour of the shop when I arrived. (Impressive operation, by the way!)
