Unfortunately, after the installation, I discovered that most of it wasn't working correctly. The backup camera wasn't connected at all, and when I reached out for help, the installer stopped responding. At that point, I was out the money I had paid--including a tip--and had to find someone else to fix it before moving across the country. One of the main reasons I purchased this system was for safety during my cross-country drive. Since the Bluetooth phone connection wasn't working, I was forced to hold my phone against my chest under my seatbelt while driving--not safe and certainly not legal. To make matters worse, several installers refused to even look at my Android-based unit. They told me those systems are usually installed incorrectly and rarely work properly. Thankfully, they were wrong. I took my car to Custom Car Concepts, and from the moment I arrived, the experience was completely different. Mike got me in right away, properly installed the backup camera, and made sure everything else was working exactly as it should. Did I have to pay to have it fixed? Of course. But the price was more than reasonable, and the work was completed quickly and professionally. To say I was impressed--and relieved--would be an understatement. This is absolutely the place to go if you need car audio or electronics work done correctly. I can't thank Mike and the team enough for helping me out when I really needed it.

I first used Revive Auto Care to replace a control arm on my Infiniti QX60. I found them on Yelp, appreciated their positive reviews, and liked that they communicated over text. That repair went well, so when my AC started blowing hot air, I decided to return. They initially charged me $100 for diagnostics and a refrigerant top-off, then told me I needed a new compressor and quoted approximately $1,200. I dropped the vehicle off on Tuesday. By Wednesday and Thursday, they still had not identified the issue, but they continued replacing parts including the compressor, condenser with receiver drier, premium line kit, secondary rear AC expansion valve, blend door actuator, cabin filter, and recharged the AC system. By Friday, the vehicle was still not repaired, and they ultimately determined that the battery was bad and not providing enough amperage to properly run the AC system. They replaced the battery and told me the issue was fixed, which naturally made me question whether all of the previously replaced parts were actually necessary. The total had also increased to approximately $2,500, and at no point during the process was I contacted for approval on the additional repairs and charges. When I picked up the vehicle Friday evening, the AC was still blowing hot air. In addition, the vehicle was revving abnormally both while driving and while sitting in neutral. It is now Tuesday, and my messages have gone unanswered. On Saturday, I brought the vehicle to Infiniti for another opinion. I was told that the AC system had been overcharged by 1.73 lbs of refrigerant, which they said was causing the issues I experienced after picking the car up. I understand that diagnosing AC problems can be difficult and unexpected issues can happen, but the lack of communication, failure to request approval for major additional repairs, and returning the vehicle in worse condition than when it was dropped off made this a very disappointing experience.

Horrible welding job. I own a 95 Toyota Supra twin turbo and anyone who knows the rarity and value of this car knows that you do not take it to some place that does not know what they are doing, (pretty much you do not take a Ferrari F40 to some random Ferrari dealer or any other place without researching especially if you have a custom exhaust done already and all you need is an exhaust hook because the previous one broke and your exhaust is hanging and scraping as it is going or you just need the stock downpipe re-installed for smog purposes Thus was my case, I should have researched these fools. I came here because it was close to the place I live now. The weld stood for a year THEN my GOD it was rusted out like George Washington's dentures. It was at risk of falling, I thought well, honest mistake.. nope they stated they did not do it! They offered to fix it and replace my stock downpipe with cat for $45. when the job was done. They said it was $75. I'm like WAHT???! WHY??! He said that was what he said before. I needed to get out of there so i just paid and left. Never have come back here again. Im all about supporting local business, but NOT when they screw me over like that. read more

I came here to have my Apex exhaust installed. First, my muffler started rattling like crazy because they didn't bolt on the muffler properly. It was a single exit and it was right next to the bumper. So when it came loose, the muffler was thumping loud against my car. I ended up going back to have it fixed. He put on a bolt, tightened it and that was it. A couple of days later, the bolt came loose and I had to keep retightening it! Then about less than a month later, the exhaust BROKE OFF by the main cat where they welded it on. The exhaust was hanging on to the crossmember. I did not want to deal with them again so I took it to another shop. The guy at the other shop said the reason why it broke off was because they didn't install a flex pipe. So it was just a straight pipe welded and it was only a matter of time till it snapped off. Don't be fooled by the lower prices. read more

After reading their reviews on here I knew that this seemed to be the place to go for exhaust work...I was not wrong. I brought in a 2008 BMW M5 for a muffler delete which they completed professionally, quickly, and haggle-free for a great price. Would recommend to anyone trying to get some exhaust work/repair done. Some advice though, since their shop is great they tend to be very popular so try to go during the week, but if you can only go on Saturday get there before opening time in order to be one of the first cars up. I will definitely return to Performance Muffler for any other exhaust work in the future. read more

After reading other reviews about Performance Muffler, I decided to take my vehicle there for service. I was prepared for the worst...a whole new exhaust system. I left my vehicle with Zack. With my zero knowledge (I am a 60 year old woman) on vehicle maintenance...Zack "could" have sold me EVERYTHING. However, he did a thorough inspection and found that some bolts were loose. That was it. To top it off...he replaced the bolts at no charge. I will be recommending Performance Muffler to everyone I can. Awesome!!! I was nervous about going from single to duel exhaust on my mustang. Tim and Russ were very helpful with explaining the procedure. Their work and warranty sold me on getting it done. The quote was right on, and the price was great. Dropped my car off at night, (they locked my car in the shop overnight) picked up my car next day, they gave me the option of having a non connected or cross pipe welded in. I flew in from Colorado to buy a truck from Truckmasters in Phoenix..I called Performance Mufflers a week in advance to schedule an appt. I wanted the single exhaust switched out to dual exhaust with a 40 series Flowmaster to drive back home. It was like clockwork. Such a GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Best muffler shop in town! No joke. Customer service was great explained everything to me in detail Install was super clean and the welds were perfect. Price, they gave me a great deal, half the cost of larger "chain" stores. Shop was clean, not super clean but not cluttered like hole in the wall places. My Camaro exhaust was making a horrible rattling noise. Chevys offered to replace the whole exhaust for $2800, screw that when it probably needs a simple weld to fit. Took it over to Performance Muffler and literally within 10 minutes they had my Camaro up on the lift and welded the bracket back onto the exhaust and the best part it is that they did it free of charge. Took my G82 here for some seriously basic mods. Engine bay intake (they did install, but left off…read moreone of the O rings - even if it was missing PRIOR to them installing - a quality shop would let you know, get a replacement O ring, and make sure it's properly installed prior to handing your keys back). They charge a premium on labor and have high school / college kids doing the actual work. Springs - During spring install, they punctured my OEM auxiliary radiator and then proceeded to argue with me over providing me a replacement (yes the replacement part is a step up from OEM, but NO it wasn't something I planned to do at that point, and surely wasn't expecting to pay for it!) Exhaust - had them install a single midpipe. Left with an awful rattle at low RPMs, had to take it back a few days later, wait for 2-3 hours, and they couldn't figure it out. I did my own research and found valve controllers which fixed the problem - the fact they had no idea and sent me on me way just tells you how little these "techs" know and how poor the quality of work is over here. Reach out for an excellent referral I've been working with since. Much more reasonable labor, very transparent and honest, and actually does all the hands on work himself instead of subbing to junior techs.

One of the main reasons I purchased this system was for safety during my cross-country drive. Since the Bluetooth phone connection wasn't working, I was forced to hold my phone against my chest under my seatbelt while driving--not safe and certainly not legal. To make matters worse, several installers refused to even look at my Android-based unit. They told me those systems are usually installed incorrectly and rarely work properly. Thankfully, they were wrong. I took my car to Custom Car Concepts, and from the moment I arrived, the experience was completely different. Mike got me in right away, properly installed the backup camera, and made sure everything else was working exactly as it should. Did I have to pay to have it fixed? Of course. But the price was more than reasonable, and the work was completed quickly and professionally. To say I was impressed--and relieved--would be an understatement. This is absolutely the place to go if you need car audio or electronics work done correctly. I can't thank Mike and the team enough for helping me out when I really needed it.

I first used Revive Auto Care to replace a control arm on my Infiniti QX60. I found them on Yelp, appreciated their positive reviews, and liked that they communicated over text. That repair went well, so when my AC started blowing hot air, I decided to return. They initially charged me $100 for diagnostics and a refrigerant top-off, then told me I needed a new compressor and quoted approximately $1,200. I dropped the vehicle off on Tuesday. By Wednesday and Thursday, they still had not identified the issue, but they continued replacing parts including the compressor, condenser with receiver drier, premium line kit, secondary rear AC expansion valve, blend door actuator, cabin filter, and recharged the AC system. By Friday, the vehicle was still not repaired, and they ultimately determined that the battery was bad and not providing enough amperage to properly run the AC system. They replaced the battery and told me the issue was fixed, which naturally made me question whether all of the previously replaced parts were actually necessary. The total had also increased to approximately $2,500, and at no point during the process was I contacted for approval on the additional repairs and charges. When I picked up the vehicle Friday evening, the AC was still blowing hot air. In addition, the vehicle was revving abnormally both while driving and while sitting in neutral. It is now Tuesday, and my messages have gone unanswered. On Saturday, I brought the vehicle to Infiniti for another opinion. I was told that the AC system had been overcharged by 1.73 lbs of refrigerant, which they said was causing the issues I experienced after picking the car up. I understand that diagnosing AC problems can be difficult and unexpected issues can happen, but the lack of communication, failure to request approval for major additional repairs, and returning the vehicle in worse condition than when it was dropped off made this a very disappointing experience.

We paid a lot of money for what we thought would be a new engine and when we got it back three weeks later it was just our engine rebuilt but not well. The check engine light was still on and when we went to do our first oil change we found the engine has been mounted oddly so we could no longer use the recommended filter size. Additionally we also found that the vacuum lines weren't connected and laying on the exhaust manifold under the leaking valve cover manifold. The radiator hose was on an antique plastic garden hose shut off (which was broken and leaking) and the plastic tubing had vise grip hose clamps. The exhaust manifold only had one bolt in it and it wasn't even tightened all the way. There were additional leaks that caused a small engine fire with melted wire sheathing. For the money and the time we should have just bought a new vehicle or did the repairs in a parking lot somewhere. So if you want to get ripped off and screwed over hit this place up. But remember to save some money for the post repair repairs. I'll be over here pushing my vehicle off the road and crying over the craptastic services I received.
