To be fully transparent, I'm very specific about a lot of things when it comes to my vehicles so there were things that I noticed that weren't right, a couple things still exist to this day that were caused by the shop. However, every time I told Miguel about these issues he immediately did his best to help fix them. And they did fix most of the issues I had. This is not a bad shop at all. I definitely recommend them.

A different and reputable tire shop I've dealt with for years confirmed these tires are in terrible condition after only three months, and even took pictures of them to post on their social media to warn others. These pros that have also been in the business a very long time have never even heard of this brand. I've never experienced this with multiple brands I've purchased in the past, and spent about the same amount of money on them. I gave Firebird an opportunity to make things right and prorate these tires but they refused. I will never go back.

My insurance company wanted to total out my 2008 S80 Volvo damaged in a hit and run accident this year. I took it to Sam's who had done a fantastic job for me two years ago. They did an estimate that was more reasonable than the shops the insurance company wanted to use and helped me get the insurance company to reconsider and repair it instead. They did a fantastic job, exactly as quoted, and did it in record time. It looks better than new. Did I mention this is a Veteran owned business to boot. The father and son team of Sam and Mark know their business, are more than fair in their pricing, and will bend over backwards to help you in any way possible get your vehicle back on the road. You can't find a more honest, quality shop for accident repairs than Sam's Auto Body and Paint. Take your vehicle there first and save your time and money. My highest recommendation!! read more

A couple months ago my car was damaged by a hit and run in front of my house. My daughter picked Sams based on past reviews. They helped me arrange to have it towed and kept me posted while they determined what needed to be done. My car was back to me mechanically sound and looking like new in a week. I really appreciated their thoroughness and the extra mile they went to make sure it was well done. SO when my car was involved in a traffic accident I called Sams again and once again experienced their attention to detail. It took a little longer this time but Mark kept me posted every step of the way. Again, my experience was very positive and I would recommend Sams! Love these guys! Sam's auto body and paint shop is awesome. Probably the best body shop I have ever dealt with. The repairs to my 2021 Silverado were very well done. Even knowing where the damages occured you cannot see the repairs. The paint is a perfect match. Mark (owner) sent emails to inform me of the status of the repairs as work was progressing. The work was completed in a timely manner despite discovering hidden damages. If you are looking for a body shop that offer fair pricing, great workmanship, timely repairs and pleasant interactions this is the place. I highly recommend this body shop. read more

I will never go anywhere else for work on my car! Mark is so helpful with whatever needs to be done. He always tried to get the best deal for the job. My side mirror was broken and he painted it and everything before I even got there, then it took about 5 minutes to put on! I took in my ELR for some damage done by a tall truck to the rear quarter panel. They matched the paint perfectly (candy apple red, hard to do) and did the repairs so I couldn't even tell where it was damaged. Great communications, even when their parts where held up they let me know, promptly. AWESOME and hard to find a company that's sets this high a bar for customer service. read more

My mom had her car painted here and the paint job was amazing!!!! A few days ago, a friend was moving her car and bumped into the house leaving some scratches on the bumper cover. I took it back to sams and they took care of the damage in 2 days and the car is back to perfect. Theg do amazing work and i would highly reccomend!!! read more

I am extremely hesitant to bring my car to a mechanic shop normally because my dad typically fixes my cars for me. I wanted to give him a break so that is what lead me here. A little over a year ago I brought my car in for a horrible noise it was making. They diagnosed it and over $1,000 later I got the call my car was fixed and ready. As I was driving away, the same very glaring and obvious noise happened even before I left the parking lot. I called and let them know it was still making the noise so they had me bring it back the next day. I went on a drive with one of the mechanics so I could make sure they knew what noise I was talking about. They kept my car, put some oil/lubricant on a few things, and said good to go. Again, my car made the noise as I drove out of the parking lot. I called again to tell them it was still making the noise and I was told, "I don't know what to tell you, your car is old and we could spend years looking for what is causing the noise." And that was it. No offer to try to figure it out and I've now spent the money I barely could afford as a single mom and my car is not fixed. And I don't have the additional funds at the time to take it elsewhere because I spent it with them. Here I am, over a year later and the car is still making the noise because I'm nervous about trying at another mechanic. My friend over the past year has had two very similar experiences where the initial issue was not fixed at first and she has had to go back. She had to pay for the non-fixes and again for the going back to actually get it fixed. I have no doubt the work they did on my car was done properly, however it was not the right work or the fix for my issue. The employee even said he thought what they replaced looked like it had already been replaced before (like it was not the original part). I feel like that should have raised a flag that maybe it wasn't the part that needed replacing. I would use caution when considering going here.

Kat was super quick with her responses and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and process for repairs. Dropped off the vehicle with Kat at Altra and heard back less than 24 hours later on the assessment outcome. Unfortunately, the accident had left some damage to the truck frame itself, which could not be seen until break down of the vehicle. While I'm sure sharing this outcome with me was just as unfavorable as hearing the unfortunate news, Kat was extremely kind in letting me know options I had as I shared I am not a car-savvy lady. She went over all possible options and gave me some extra time to think about what I wanted to do moving forward. Ultimately because of the age of the vehicle, it was not worth putting the money in to fix and ended up selling it to part out. Even with the unfortunate outcome (due to the accident), I would 10/10 recommend Kat and her crew over at Altra to anyone who is needing repairs. She was fast, honest, knowledgeable and did everything in her power to ensure the right decision was made at the end of the day.
