The inside is quite roomy with plenty of room to spread out. We were quickly seated and greated to get our drink orders. A few of us tried the passion fruit juice drink which comes in a rather large glass but was quite good. For an appetizer we ordered a few of the Haitian Pates which were amazing and each one was big enough for 2-4 people to share. For our meals, we ordered the chicken entree, pork entree and the turkey entree. Each entree came with a number of side items on the plate. I was amazed at how much food and how many items we received for the price we paid. The server was very friendly and attentive although we did have to chase her down for the bill which wasn't really a problem. Plan on having cash to tip because once she ran my card, she said she didn't have a way to add tip to the bill or the credit card slip. Maybe you can add it ahead of time, but I didn't think to ask before. Luckily our party had some cash to tip. We really enjoyed all of the food and will definitely be back soon.

I was looking to try something different and ended up here. I really wanted to like this place…read moremore, but it was tough. You will find this spot in at the end of a strip mall. There is a lot of parking available in the lot that it shares with the other business in the strip mall that it is located. They have a decent sized dining area, that almost looks like a banquet hall. There is a roped of VIP area, a non-alcoholic bar with seating, a vip room and a stage where they host live music. It looks like it would be a hoping place on weekends. You will also find an ATM here as well as a few televisions around the bar area. There is a patio area in the front of the restaurant, but it was closed and had tables stacked on top of each other when I was there. I decided to dine in, which was kind of awkward. I was never seated. I just found a table after standing there for about 5 minutes. The table was not very stable and rocked throughout my meal. Normally, the server brings a glass of water out to the patrons too, but that was not the case here. I had to even track down the server to take my order. The staff there is friendly enough, but as I have mentioned, they are very hard to communicate with. They offer a limited menu that rotates based on the day of week. This is an authentic restaurant. I mean authentic, authentic. communicating with them was very difficult. They did not understand a word I said and vice versa. Somehow I was able to place my order, even though it took a while. I went with the fried goat, which came with french fries, plantains and slaw. I ended up having to point out the drink I wanted in the cooler behind the bar. It took about 10 minutes for me to get my food and it looked delicious. I will be honest though, it was not very good. The plantains tasted like cardboard, the fries were a bit off too. The goat was good, but it and the rest of the food was luke warm at best. It was like it was already prepared and just put on the platter. I ended up throwing my plantains away and I do not like to waste food, but I just could not eat them. I really really had high hopes for this place, but it did not deliver. The food just did not do it for me. The communication issue affected the service and the prices were a bit steep. my meal and drink ran me about $25. I hope that my visit was an off day for the restaurant, but I will probably not be coming back anytime soon.

We head to the counter and order the lunch plate special of 1/4 Chicken Jerk which comes with rice and beans and cabbage sides. The clerk is all business. The plate takes about 10 minutes to prep. Most people are taking their orders to go, but we eat at a table in the dining room. The jerk chicken tastes excellent - spicy, tender and moist. The enormous helping of rice and beans are flavorful, perfectly seasoned. The cabbage/carrot mix is very good. The portions are generous and shareable. Prices are very reasonable. There is a 3% surcharge for credit cards use. We paid cash. There is shared parking in the strip mall lot. The restrooms are immaculate. I recommend highly. The food is great.

The parking lot was not a lot of spaces due to this business sharing parking with other businesses. We lucked up and were able to find two spots but if not we would've had to park further away from the building. Once we got inside the building, it was a lot of people in there. You could tell that a lot of people do order ahead at this location because it was very packed on the order ahead side. Once it was my turn to order I was able to create my own bowl which is what I typically always do. I did not like that they did not have pickled onions because I really love putting these in my bowls. I wasn't sure if they just did not have them out and did not want to put them out due to it being busy. The worker did not explain she just said we don't have any but I could see the spot where they would be at if they had them. I have this new love for pickled onions which is why I really wanted them ughhh. Once I got done before I paid for my order I made sure they scanned my reward app so that I can collect points. The rewards program is very beneficial because you can earn different items for free, which is great. Who doesn't love free stuff.? We had wanted to eat outside but they only had about 4 tables out there and all of them were taken. So instead, we had to sit inside the restaurant to eat which space was very limited in there. We were able to find seating. It was very cold inside there after sitting for a while. While eating we had to use the restroom. In order to utilize the restroom you have to have the bathroom code which we had to ask for they were very nice and gave us the bathroom code so that we could utilize the restroom.

I also have to say that they have the best wings I've had in Indy, and I'm a wing snob! I usually do to-go here and my only complaint is the food is almost never ready compared to the time I'm given. On my latest order I arrived 15 minutes after my pick-up time since it's usually late, and it still wasn't ready and the wait time was 65 minutes.. so it's taken over 90 minutes since I placed my pick-up order before it's ready. Normally they send a text when the food is ready but that's also not been consistent. A couple of times they've forgot to send it, or they sent it long after I picked it up. In short AMAZING food, but beware when ordering to-go that it may be ready nowhere near the time provided
