The resturant has a modest private parking lot, but I was the only person, other than staff, in the resturant. My server took a little warming up, but finally came around. There is a decent-sized dining area here, so I decided to stay and eat. They serve haiatian/carbiean food, but they were out of many of the food items during my visit. They only had chicken, turkey, and fish. I was very disappointed. I wanted ox tail, but ohhh well. I ordered the turkey meal. It took about 15 minutes to prepare. They brought out some sourdough bread and gave me a bottle of water while I waited. My meal was ok. I really liked the turkey and the beet dish. The spicy slaw was really good too. The salad was ok, but it was just plain lettuce and tomatoes. I was expecting sweet plantains, but they were the traditional sliced and baked ones. They were ok as well, but I was not a fan. All in all, this place is ok. The turkey and some of the sides were decent. They gave me a ton of food. However, the service was mehhh, and some of the sides were mediocre. I am on the fence about coming back to this place, but you can be the judge.

They give you 4 chicken legs, a mixture of rice and beans, a nice side salad and plantains. It is a meal big enough for 4 people, very delicious and very well seasoned! I would recommend, the only thing to keep in mind is that this is a small business and food takes a bit to get to you once you order it.

Nestle in the back of an old mall area is quite a cultural gem. Madina's menu offered flavors from several African/ Carribean cuisines: Egusi (Nigerian) , Peanut Stew (West Africa-Ivory Coast), Plaintains (Caribbean-Ghana), Jollof Rice (Senegal) and so much more! The service was wonderful. The cook gave us some cultural food knowledge about the origins of our dishes. The presentation of the food was beautiful. I wish I took a picture but I was ravenous. At the end of a very bountiful meal, I left tips eveywhere. The busser tried to return my tip! I had to explain that it was for him. Very nice place. I will return, especially for the plaintains.

I had the most amazing time celebrating my friend at this restaurant. My friend that mentioned that…read moreshe does not like Ethiopian food has only good things to say. This is great establishment where the staff is always so friendly and attentive. The place is clean and there is even a hand washing station. I love how the Ethiopian culture is highlighted from the videos broadcasted on the tv, art and decor throughout the restaurant. The food was amazing. We got mild spice and it did not disappoint. We got the 4 person meal for 3 of us and there was plenty of left overs. There was a. Assortment of meats and vegetarian options and they were all delicious. My only issue was the injera and some of the sides were cold or close to Lukewarm. I love hot food or at least warm. Also, there is paid street side parking outside.

I was happy to see that the menu had some pictures and that there were descriptions of each food item, also our server was a great help in assisting us with what to order. Each dish we ordered also came with two sides, I got the Tikel Gomen (cabbage and carrots) and Yemisir Keyi Wett (red lentil). Everything was so good, I only wish the portions were larger and it was a bit pricey.
