The resturant has a modest private parking lot, but I was the only person, other than staff, in the resturant. My server took a little warming up, but finally came around. There is a decent-sized dining area here, so I decided to stay and eat. They serve haiatian/carbiean food, but they were out of many of the food items during my visit. They only had chicken, turkey, and fish. I was very disappointed. I wanted ox tail, but ohhh well. I ordered the turkey meal. It took about 15 minutes to prepare. They brought out some sourdough bread and gave me a bottle of water while I waited. My meal was ok. I really liked the turkey and the beet dish. The spicy slaw was really good too. The salad was ok, but it was just plain lettuce and tomatoes. I was expecting sweet plantains, but they were the traditional sliced and baked ones. They were ok as well, but I was not a fan. All in all, this place is ok. The turkey and some of the sides were decent. They gave me a ton of food. However, the service was mehhh, and some of the sides were mediocre. I am on the fence about coming back to this place, but you can be the judge.

This is great establishment where the staff is always so friendly and attentive. The place is clean and there is even a hand washing station. I love how the Ethiopian culture is highlighted from the videos broadcasted on the tv, art and decor throughout the restaurant. The food was amazing. We got mild spice and it did not disappoint. We got the 4 person meal for 3 of us and there was plenty of left overs. There was a. Assortment of meats and vegetarian options and they were all delicious. My only issue was the injera and some of the sides were cold or close to Lukewarm. I love hot food or at least warm. Also, there is paid street side parking outside.

A few of us tried the passion fruit juice drink which comes in a rather large glass but was quite good. For an appetizer we ordered a few of the Haitian Pates which were amazing and each one was big enough for 2-4 people to share. For our meals, we ordered the chicken entree, pork entree and the turkey entree. Each entree came with a number of side items on the plate. I was amazed at how much food and how many items we received for the price we paid. The server was very friendly and attentive although we did have to chase her down for the bill which wasn't really a problem. Plan on having cash to tip because once she ran my card, she said she didn't have a way to add tip to the bill or the credit card slip. Maybe you can add it ahead of time, but I didn't think to ask before. Luckily our party had some cash to tip. We really enjoyed all of the food and will definitely be back soon.

I was looking to try something different and ended up here. I really wanted to like this place…read moremore, but it was tough. You will find this spot in at the end of a strip mall. There is a lot of parking available in the lot that it shares with the other business in the strip mall that it is located. They have a decent sized dining area, that almost looks like a banquet hall. There is a roped of VIP area, a non-alcoholic bar with seating, a vip room and a stage where they host live music. It looks like it would be a hoping place on weekends. You will also find an ATM here as well as a few televisions around the bar area. There is a patio area in the front of the restaurant, but it was closed and had tables stacked on top of each other when I was there. I decided to dine in, which was kind of awkward. I was never seated. I just found a table after standing there for about 5 minutes. The table was not very stable and rocked throughout my meal. Normally, the server brings a glass of water out to the patrons too, but that was not the case here. I had to even track down the server to take my order. The staff there is friendly enough, but as I have mentioned, they are very hard to communicate with. They offer a limited menu that rotates based on the day of week. This is an authentic restaurant. I mean authentic, authentic. communicating with them was very difficult. They did not understand a word I said and vice versa. Somehow I was able to place my order, even though it took a while. I went with the fried goat, which came with french fries, plantains and slaw. I ended up having to point out the drink I wanted in the cooler behind the bar. It took about 10 minutes for me to get my food and it looked delicious. I will be honest though, it was not very good. The plantains tasted like cardboard, the fries were a bit off too. The goat was good, but it and the rest of the food was luke warm at best. It was like it was already prepared and just put on the platter. I ended up throwing my plantains away and I do not like to waste food, but I just could not eat them. I really really had high hopes for this place, but it did not deliver. The food just did not do it for me. The communication issue affected the service and the prices were a bit steep. my meal and drink ran me about $25. I hope that my visit was an off day for the restaurant, but I will probably not be coming back anytime soon.
