Initially, AAA indicated that they wanted to total my vehicle based solely on the photos that had been submitted. I wanted to obtain a professional, in-person opinion before making any decisions. Since Greg had previously worked on another vehicle of mine, I trusted his experience and judgment. I took my vehicle to him, and he asked me to leave it with him so that he and Vivian could evaluate the damage and handle the necessary inspection. Based solely on the photos, AAA estimated the damage at approximately $6,500, while Greg initially estimated the repairs at approximately $2,500. However, Greg explained that he needed to inspect the vehicle more thoroughly, including opening the trunk and removing the bumper, to determine the full extent of the damage and whether the vehicle was worth repairing. After Greg completed his inspection and confirmed that the vehicle was, in fact, totaled, I felt more comfortable with the decision because I had received an in-person professional assessment rather than relying solely on photos. Having Greg inspect the vehicle and provide his professional opinion gave me reassurance that the determination was based on the actual condition of the car. I have been very pleased with the professionalism, communication, and service I have received from Simi Collision Center throughout this process. I will continue to use Simi Collision Center for my future automotive needs and will gladly recommend their business to my friends and family.

While other shops quoted me $1,600 for a full mirror replacement Greg from Simi Collision Center showed me that wasn't necessary. First of all he got the housing and glass mirror remounted and in a working state free of charge. He then explained to me that all I need is an inexpensive housing, where I can buy one and how to easily install it myself if I chose to. I prefer to have a professional do the job so I'll have Greg do it and post an update when the jobs complete!

I was told if I pay with debit card or check there is no credit card fee. I used my debit to avoid the extra fee. After the battery was installed the service person says they don't give a written receipts they went paper less and would email me an invoice later. Well they charged me an installation fee of $30 and the invoice has a credit card fee and says payment was by VISA. After much aggravation they reversed the installation fee but wouldn't budge on the visa fee even though I used a debit. The MGR Jim didn't like that I called the auto club and told him they are required to give a receipt at the service call and would be contacting Roy's for this violation. I am not going to be using this company again and hope they start to comply with the Auto Club policies.
