Just as there was no misunderstanding of the name I was given as to whom I was doing business with. I cleared that myself and my grandchildren would be meeting the tow truck back at my home where the vehicle was being towed to. The scruffy looking person who accompanied Steve/Michael in the tow truck that he says was a "trainee" never moved from the truck to do anything or observe how anything was done. He simply sat in the truck glaring at me as I questioned the "owner" about his deceptive practices. Is that how you train a trainee? From my standpoint, his presence served no positive purpose. Good luck with your business. People will take a chance on you if they want to in spite of my warning; and every dog has its day. Let's not continue this conversation.

I took a shot and called AAA to tow it but the driver who came said he couldn't do it. AAA doesn't do tow jobs like that. I offered him $$$ to do it himself but he wouldn't and he basically left me stranded 80 miles from my house. I called 3 other tow companies, no one would do it. I got in touch with Mike from Dingees. Mike said yes right away and he even gave me a break on the price. The driver Sunny came within minutes and towed the car back to NYC. It was at least a 3 hour transport. He was professional and a nice guy. Dingees came through for me when I was stranded,, not sure what I would have done without them. I would call them again without hesitation if I needed a tow ,,, I highly recommend them to anyone. They'll never leave you stranded!

I was given excellent service with a minimal wait time, at an extremely fair price. I personally am glad I tried this shop, as they now have a new customer for any future automotive repairs or any towing needs. Give them a try and I'm sure you'll see what I'm talking about. I wish I could give this company ZERO stars, as that's exactly the amount of help they provided me!…read more On Thanksgiving Day, I drove from my home in New Jersey to my In-Laws in Westchester County, NY. As luck would have it, the transmission on my Chevy Silverado gave out a mere two houses away from my In-Laws. I immediately called AAA to arrange a tow back to NJ to my dealership to have the truck diagnosed & serviced. AAA referred me to Cars & Carts and we had a conversation about the tow. Since it was Thanksgiving, I felt terribly about asking someone to come out & tow my truck, so I arranged with the owner (or boss) of Cars & Carts to have the tow done the next morning between 8 & 9am. The gentleman's name was Dan and I thanked him for his assistance! Here is where the entire experience went side-ways. At 9am, there was no word from Cars & Carts, so I phoned them and spoke to someone named Jay, I believe. Jay told me they had a tow that went late, as the person didn't show up for 45 minutes. I asked why that would have affected my tow, since I was first in line from the night before. Jay's explanation was a lot of gibberish and he assured me they'd be to me by 10am, "at the latest"! Well, 10am came and went, with no word from Jay, Dan or anyone at Cars & Carts. I called again at about 10:15am to inquire on when the driver would arrive to me and was told that they had an "emergency call" that they had to take, as it was a priority over my tow. When I asked why they would take a call instead of saying they had no truck available, I was again met with gibberish and a none too coherent excuse. So, here I am now waiting for 3 plus hours for a tow, all the while stalling my In-Laws departure from their home, as they were to leave for an 11 hour drive south. Finally, I decided I had to leave so my In-Laws could as well. My last correspondence with Cars & Carts ended with a new person, Daniel, telling me that Dan would call me very shortly to arrange the tow and that I could leave the keys with my truck and they would pick it up soon. I then left to drive home to NJ, having borrowed one of my In-Laws vehicles. At 1:30pm, after hearing nothing from Cars & carts regarding my truck, I called AAA again and made arrangements for another Tow company to get my truck. RDM Towing & Recovery arrived within 30 minutes, got my truck and called me with an ETA to my dealership in South Jersey. At 5pm, Jesse from RDM called me and sent a text of the invoice, after having dropped my truck at the dealership. In closing, I guess it was a good day after all, as I found a terrible company that I can warn everyone about (Cars & Carts) and an incredible company that I can share with everyone (RDM Towing & Recovery)!

She helped me arrange a tow (remotely), tried to help me rule out possibilities/ understand the issue over the phone (she is very knowledgable) and was so, so courteous. I felt like she made solving my car problem a mission, and I think that the overall curiosity + the garage's competency made it happen. The repairs were also incredibly affordable in comparison to previous estimates (like 1/15 of the price). THANK YOU!!!!

The root cause ended up being a missing NVH foam piece - something simple, but overlooked repeatedly. While they were in there, they were upfront about the spark plugs - noting that since access was already open, it made sense to take care of it now rather than paying for the same labor again down the road. That kind of transparency goes a long way. Overall, the team comes across as fair, honest, and focused on doing things the right way. It's safe to say I'll be going back to Bolt moving forward.

I accidentally ended up in the "private driveway/junk yard" behind this business when I was…read morevisiting Sharon on vacation looking for a local restaurant. Google maps led me to the wrong driveway and once I entered the business yard area I had to turn around. There were many junk cars and trucks parked around and it was not easy to turn back. After I finally was able to turn my rental car around I discovered I had been parked in by a truck blocking the only narrow lane between the many cars. I didn't see anyone and neither did my teenage daughter who was with me in the car. I tooted my horn - and I mean tooted, not honked - 3 short toots to see if I could attract someone to help me get out of the lot. I attracted someone all right! Several very hostile men who yelled at me. The worst of them told me I was just going to have to wait since I have come onto private properly uninvited. I told him it was an accident due to google maps and he flat out told me it was not an accident at all. I suddenly realized this guy apparently thought I wanted to steal some rusty old hub caps or something in this junky car yard. He apparently planned to enjoy being the all powerful man and was demanding I just sit there while he unloaded a bunch of tires (and I mean a big bunch of them that were heaped in his truck bed). He only needed to move the truck about 4 feet for me to leave, and the whole vibe was immediately ugly and negative. When I suddenly realized he was being racist, and possibly misogynist too, I told him he wouldn't talk to a white woman the same way he was to me. Then he got out of his truck and walked up to my car threateningly. By then I was so mad I said to go ahead and keep coming and he would see who the police would arrest if he attacked me, and it wouldn't be me. The guy was nuts! I let him make me a bit nuts for a short time - something I regret in a way, but I'm done with being walked over and put down. All the other men around (at least 4) were clearly backing this guy up too. I'd have regretted things getting worse as it could have ended up involving my daughter, who is in her late teens, but I also don't ever want her to just let people treat her like dirt. This guy was a nutter. The man I believe was the business owner finally told him to get back in his truck when it dawned on him the man was really likely to attack me! Up to that point this guy in charge was busy bad mouthing me for having honked my horn and clearly did not accept that we didn't see anybody, even though I told him that, and all of them had come out from some unknown places after I tooted to see what was happening. The tire guy came out from some room and the others were apparently somewhere inside the garage area out of sight. The whole thing was ugly and all of them clearly wanted me to shut up and remained trapped there until they felt good and ready to let me out of the driveway. I strongly recommend anyone with brown skin avoid this place, and frankly I sure hope everyone avoids doing business with them and supporting racists!
