Are you looking for an excellent meal, an unbeatable value and the best service found this side of the Mississippi!?

I don't go to church. I go to the West Shore Diner to find my Heaven. If your looking for a fat slice of Americana wholesomeness, this place is it! Some people aren't diner people. If you are, this is your valhalla.

Small sample of the inside. Throwback to the era of 50s diner era.

Went on a Sunday. There is only breakfast, but they will do grill food if you ask. (no fried foods) My burger was over cooked but ok. Our table also got perfect eggs, toast, a must pancakes and scrapple and bacon. The decor is a step back in time. A must visit if in Lemoyne!

Very disappointed. My husband and I, travel to different do diners. Out of all the ones we have been to, this is the dirtiest. Sticky tables, dirty old silverware, dirty cups and the worst coffee ever. Sometimes looks can be deceiving, this place matches. The appearance on the outside will tell you exactly what its like on the inside! Nasty, nasty, nasty!

Cooking always man hahahaha he is a beast in that grill

It's an awesome dive, that reminds me of a place to visit for years, getting your same dish over and over.

This place is pretty nasty. The bathroom was filthy. If they had any pride in this place they would take care if it just a little, ya think?

Do NOT look at the dessert case when you walk in or you may ruin your delicious breakfast/lunch/dinner. Save that for after the meal. Everything I've had here is fantastic. And the good music they play in the background is another plus. I plan on eating here every day I'm in town if possible. So many things on their menu I want to try. I've been eating breakfast here, I hope I get the opportunity to do dinner. Overall I give this place 2 thumbs W

We were seated pretty quickly, the waitress was nice and helpful, and I thought my mini cheeseburgers were good. They tasted like they were made on the grill which is always good. Now to the stuff that wasn't as good from my husband's and my perspective. The fries weren't too bad. The soup that my husband got was a bit odd and more like a cup of gravy with chicken and spinach. It was something like the creamy chicken and spinach soup. It didn't taste too bad but was a really thick consistency which more resembled gravy. My husband did not like his open faced roast beef sandwich. It was extremely dry and didn't taste good. The brown gravy on that was also an odd consistency and didn't help enough to make the roast beef edible. He had to primarily eat the fries and bread. It's a super old school diner. Breakfast may be better.

Walking in felt like stepping back in time -- and not in a charming, nostalgic way. More like everything hadn't been updated (or cleaned) in decades. I went in with a colleague for lunch, and unfortunately neither of us finished our meals. The food tasted like it had been frozen, reheated, and thrown on a plate without even the slightest care. My burger was dry, flavorless, and somehow both overcooked and rubbery at the same time -- I didn't even know that was possible. The sides weren't much better. The service didn't help matters. Our servers looked exhausted and disengaged, and we waited far too long for food that clearly didn't have much preparation put into it. It honestly felt like everyone there had already given up. I rarely ever leave negative reviews, but this was rough. If you value fresh, edible food and even basic service, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. This place needs a serious overhaul before they serve another customer.
