Driven by this for 6 plus years and finally decided to give them a shot. We were pleasantly surprised and I throughly enjoyed my waffle cone with coconut ice cream. Was quiet in there though they just finished a birthday party for a regular. Good ice cream without a wait which was great.
Love the small town feel, lots of flavor options and variations of classic ice cream concoctions. Shakes, affogato, cups and cones. I also like the addition of having the option to spike my shake... yes please. Anywho it's a nice vibe w tasty cream and a cozy feel. I hope it sticks around even tho everywhere seems to be a chain nowadays.
Super cute old-fashioned ice cream parlor! They have a very extensive menu & great service. I dropped by on my birthday, and the server there was very sweet and surprised me with a candle in my cookies & cream ice cream cone. It was very thoughtful & made my night! We also got the cappuccino crunch flavor in a cone, which was delicious.
We had a nice time at the West Orange Creamery recently. I wrestled with giving a higher rating but I couldn't give it 4-5 stars for two main reasons. The first was that if a place is called a "creamery" I'm immediately getting excited and thinking that they make their own ice cream and I'm gonna see some cows. But they just sold Hersheys ice cream which was tasty, but not original. Second, I'm still salty as I got considerably less ice cream than my friends due to differences in who was scooping, and feeling cheated over ice cream is never a good feeling. Otherwise, the place was clean, and I really appreciated the 1950's soda fountain vibe that they we're going for. There was tons of seating, and the milkshakes were enormous which is fun. So if you're looking for Hershey's ice cream, but a variety of flavors, West Orange Creamery may be for you.
Cute locally owned ice cream shop with lots of variety on the menu and a cozy vibe. There are games available to play together while enjoying your ice cream and a seating area with old fashioned character. The staff is friendly as well. Ice cream is Hershey's and they have traditional side fountain options as well. We got scoops, dipped cones, and a peanut butter chocolate sundae. We had a group of about 10 but were served efficiently and plenty of space to sit and chat while the kids in the group played some of the games.
Stop by for some ice cream cravings. Place does not offer free samples so you'll just have to like the ice cream that you are getting. Plenty of flavors to choose from. I got a cup size of the coffee flavored ice cream. It was pretty decent and was not overly powerful. Good consistency. Plenty of tables to enjoy their ice cream and they do have board games. Check in and they have a free waffle cone offer. Great local ice cream shop.
Today my boyfriend and I stopped in after checking out the nearby comic store. I was looking for coffee, but most creameries don't have coffee so my hopes weren't high... but I was proven wrong!!!! They had drip coffee, espresso coffee, iced or hot. I ended up getting coffee with ice cream in it!!! So yummy :) I was able to try as many flavors as I desired without frustration which is honestly so pleasing. Trying flavors was encouraged!!! My boyfriend got a Shaken egg nog ice cream thing (called a Jerk i think) which was delicious! You also get to keep the jar. Pretty interesting history behind the term "Jerk" when it comes to soda bars. The owner gave us a history lesson it was great. Service was 11/10, Ice cream was 11/10, it was so so clean, and the whole place was a vibe. It's a great place to take your family and go with friends. Please come support this business you won't regret it!!
Great little shop right by the house. Kinda transports you back a little. They do malts as well as shakes, cones, and even boozy ice cream treats. It's always a good choice after watching a movie and the theater in the back.
West Orange Creamery was a cute pit stop with great flavors, fun menu items, and a cute photo op against the back wall. Whenever you check in on Yelp, you get a free waffle cone upgrade that they make and roll to order. I also chose the brownie and caramel swirl flavor, which was delicious! They do not offer free cups of water, so you would have to buy a bottle or order one of their specialty drinks if you get thirsty.
So good!! Love this shop in the Ocoee area. They are in a small strip mall with a few other shops and a theater so parking does get busy, but they have a large back lot for cares as well. Once inside it has a warm and inviting feeling, very much a throw back vibe to soda fountain days. I'm a classics fan so I go for chocolate here and it's super tasty. They also do shakes and sundaes! Check out there weekly specials on the board for rotating flavor options. Staff is always friendly and moves the line along if it builds up. There's plenty of seating and some things to look around at so get up and wander! There's a couple table top games there too, of you're feeling competitive! Maybe loser buys. ;)) Overall: A+ Great local ice cream shop with a welcome vibe and good flavors!

Wish I came here sooner! West Orange Creamery is one of my favorite places in the Winter Garden area! The service here is absolutely outstanding and Jenna (the manager) is truly fantastic. She whipped us up a delicious banana split- which is great for sharing and really hits your sweet spot! She also treated us to a refreshing Root Beer Float that I featured on my blog. Her hospitality was really great! As a local business, West Orange is really doing it right and is a great place to bring family for a cool dessert. From floats to sundaes to milkshakes, this place is really a go to! Well done! I shall definitely be back :) read more
Had to come back after the wonderful yelp event!! Was just as good if not better than last time. It was a Saturday night and fairly busy but the jerks were not jerkish at all, in fact they were beyond helpful! I had the cappuccino crunch it was so good! read more

I live across town but make the drive here with my wife for the fresh made warm waffle cones. The store is well kept, the staff is nice, and the ice cream is delicious. But that cone. Wow. It's so good. You'd think it would melt the ice cream inside but it really doesn't. I can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend. read more

So I'm torn with west orange creamery. I love the beautiful decor and heart on the wall but when I think of a creamery I think of fresh ice cream made daily. The ice cream is from Hershey, which is ok but not freshly made ice cream. The staff is friendly, store is cozy and uniquely decorated but I really wished they made fresh ice cream. Ice cream was good but I can get it at the grocery store. read more

Very cute place! The decor is awesome and the service was super friendly ! The location is right in front of the Movie theater so I assume it's a great spot to visit before or after a film. The pricing is reasonable and certainly a better atmosphere than stopping at a DQ. The ice cream is Hershey's. Which is fine but it's nothing remarkable. I mean you can get the exact same ice cream at your local grocery store. I tried a float to see how their old fashioned soda fountain tasted. Again, it was OK just nothing too remarkable. I can imagine if they had the capability to make their own, as many local places do... This would be an exceptional experience. They are priced reasonably and have a great vibe so..Certainly I would want to make this part of a "date nite" and visit after a Movie. Would be awesome to see them add a Juke Box ! read more
First time visiting West Orange Creamery and I will definitely be back. I had the oatmeal cookie ice cream and it was amazing. I can't stop thinking about how I need to go back and order it again. This location serves "Hershey's" brand ice cream. They also have vegan options! Lastly, you should support this location because they support the local community. 28,000 Disney Cast Members were laid off this past week, and West Orange Creamery went out of their way to spread some positivity in the community at a much needed time. Great ice cream, great people. read more

Unless you have a time machine, this is a rare treat. Plenty of charm to spare but they have the goods to back it up. Traditional items on a limited menu. They keep the list short because they are great at what they do. What a wonderful way to escape the hectic day for a moment read more

Stopped in the Creamery for an after-lunch Sunday afternoon treat and was impressed and pleased, as always! We both ordered two flavors in cups, one regular and one vegan, and both were delicious! The shop offers a fun variety of flavors and lots of options, both classic and innovative. The staff, as usual, were helpful and enthusiastic-we love those jerks! In case you haven't visited the shop, stop in to see their charming decor, complete with piano, games, and some merch. The shop supports and facilitates community; you couldn't choose a better local business to support! So grateful WOC is in the neighborhood! read more
First time being actually going in here after the hundreds of times I've passed by it and I'm ahead over heels over this place. I can't wait to go back and try many different ice creams and milkshakes. I got the Better Brownie Batter broken milkshake and the first sip just made me want to get up and get another, it was so sweet and delicious. The waffle cone inside of the milkshake is something that I would have never expected to be good but it added something perfect that I didn't know I was missing out on. Also thumbs up to the staff who are very friendly and the store it's def is very aesthetically pleasing!!! read more

My family and I love this place. The ice cream is so good especially in a warm waffle cone. We have also fell in love with the homemade rum cakes. Many of my trips here are just for the cakes but who can resist a side of ice cream. read more

This place is awesome. A retro homey vibe aesthetic. A nice relaxing atmosphere. I spent a few hours playing board games with friends here. It a great place to hang out while waiting for your movie to start as it's right next to the West Orange Cinema. My favorite is the egg cream. I was so happy to have one after all these years of being outside New York and it didn't fail my expectations at all. read more
Cute decor inside with games to be able to play while eating ice cream or drinking your soda. I love the Cafecito (milkshake with chocolate or coffee ice cream and coffee blended together - I do chocolate). I keep thinking there is a hole in the bottom of the glass since the drink disappears so quickly. I am from Pennsylvania originally and they serve Hershey ice cream so that is always a plus in my book. The always have fun flavors for the kids too so they enjoy the ice cream and a game of uno. read more
This is the real deal creamery and soda fountain shop. The decor is perfectly charming and the Hershey ice cream is delicious. My daughter and I ordered chocolate milkshakes. ($5.50 each) They were thick and creamy. I loved it and will return soon to try the phosphate soda. I also ordered ice cream for my toddler grandson. I wanted a child size scoop but it is not an option at this establishment. Well it's an option to have a single scoop but you have to pay for a double scoop and forfeit the second scoop. This is how it was explained to me by the friendly staff member. This is the first ice cream shop that I have visited that does not offer single scoops in a cup. It was explained that they get around this by offering two ice cream sizes ...small (2 scoops) and a large size. Since my grandson is only going to have a couple of bites but likes to have his own cup this forfeiture seems unfair. I wonder how many families are either feeding their children too much or how many scoops are forfeited in a week? read more

Not impressed by the service or the ice cream. I'm not saying either were bad...just ordinary. The rum cake I brought home with me was a totally different story...very, VERY good. My freshly made waffle cone was cracked on the side and leaking out of the bottom, so I had to wash my hands in one of the unisex bathrooms before we left. It was extremely unsanitary. Someone needs to work on their aim and WOC needs to work on their cleanliness. read more

This is probably one of the best ice cream shops I have tried. I went with the strawberry cheesecake waffle cup, which was amazing. I also tried the birthday cake which has real cake inside and very delicious. Purchased a run cake as well and was blown away. Usually you can't taste the run inside the cake but it was delicious. Very clean inside and very polite read more

Three things you'll find at West Orange Creamery: 1) Quality dessert and a menu you can't find just anywhere. 2) A local family owned small business that supports and promotes other local small businesses. 3) An old fashioned themed establishment, complete with old fashioned games - no batteries or electricity needed. Family and friends are so busy laughing and playing games while enjoying their treats and time with each other, they don't even notice there is no room left in their hands for their cell phones. (This is not an exaggeration. I just left and there were four different families playing games with each other and I didn't see anyone even glance at their cell phone.) read more
