She whipped us up a delicious banana split- which is great for sharing and really hits your sweet spot! She also treated us to a refreshing Root Beer Float that I featured on my blog. This place was not on my radar because of other ice cream places near by, but after seeing all the great reviews about the Rum Cake I had to check it out, Walking in the cafe looks great, I didn't get coffee but there was a sign saying they Feature Foxtail coffee which is my number one favorite in Orlando, the day I went Nana was there and she let me sample a new flavor of rum cake which was amazing , I ended up buying 2 small ones , basic chocolate and a vanilla one, I would have to say it's the best rum cake I ever had, super moist, full of flavor and rum , it's worth the trip but go early because they sell out, but also know they have plenty of flavors of Ice Cream as well read more

Stopped in the Creamery for an after-lunch Sunday afternoon treat and was impressed and pleased, as always! We both ordered two flavors in cups, one regular and one vegan, and both were delicious! The shop offers a fun variety of flavors and lots of options, both classic and innovative. So I'm torn with west orange creamery. I love the beautiful decor and heart on the wall but when I think of a creamery I think of fresh ice cream made daily. The ice cream is from Hershey, which is ok but not freshly made ice cream. The staff is friendly, store is cozy and uniquely decorated but I really wished they made fresh ice cream. Very cute place! The decor is awesome and the service was super friendly ! The location is right in front of the Movie theater so I assume it's a great spot to visit before or after a film. The pricing is reasonable and certainly a better atmosphere than stopping at a DQ. The ice cream is Hershey's. Which is fine but it's nothing remarkable. I mean you can get the exact same ice cream at your local grocery store. I tried a float to see how their old fashioned soda fountain tasted. Again, it was OK just nothing too remarkable. I can imagine if they had the capability to make their own, as many local places do... This would be an exceptional experience. This is the real deal creamery and soda fountain shop. The decor is perfectly charming and the Hershey ice cream is delicious. My daughter and I ordered chocolate milkshakes. ($5.50 each) They were thick and creamy. I loved it and will return soon to try the phosphate soda. I also ordered ice cream for my toddler grandson. I wanted a child size scoop but it is not an option at this establishment. Well it's an option to have a single scoop but you have to pay for a double scoop and forfeit the second scoop. This is how it was explained to me by the friendly staff member. This is the first ice cream shop that I have visited that does not offer single scoops in a cup. It was explained that they get around this by offering two ice cream sizes ...small (2 scoops) and a large size. Since my grandson is only going to have a couple of bites but likes to have his own cup this forfeiture seems unfair. I wonder how many families are either feeding their children too much or how many scoops are forfeited in a week? read more

Not impressed by the service or the ice cream. I'm not saying either were bad...just ordinary. The rum cake I brought home with me was a totally different story...very, VERY good. My freshly made waffle cone was cracked on the side and leaking out of the bottom, so I had to wash my hands in one of the unisex bathrooms before we left. It was extremely unsanitary.
