Driven by this for 6 plus years and finally decided to give them a shot. We were pleasantly surprised and I throughly enjoyed my waffle cone with coconut ice cream. Was quiet in there though they just finished a birthday party for a regular. Good ice cream without a wait which was great.
Love the small town feel, lots of flavor options and variations of classic ice cream concoctions. Shakes, affogato, cups and cones. I also like the addition of having the option to spike my shake... yes please. Anywho it's a nice vibe w tasty cream and a cozy feel. I hope it sticks around even tho everywhere seems to be a chain nowadays.
Super cute old-fashioned ice cream parlor! They have a very extensive menu & great service. I dropped by on my birthday, and the server there was very sweet and surprised me with a candle in my cookies & cream ice cream cone. It was very thoughtful & made my night! We also got the cappuccino crunch flavor in a cone, which was delicious.
Cute locally owned ice cream shop with lots of variety on the menu and a cozy vibe. There are games available to play together while enjoying your ice cream and a seating area with old fashioned character. The staff is friendly as well. Ice cream is Hershey's and they have traditional side fountain options as well. We got scoops, dipped cones, and a peanut butter chocolate sundae. We had a group of about 10 but were served efficiently and plenty of space to sit and chat while the kids in the group played some of the games.
We had a nice time at the West Orange Creamery recently. I wrestled with giving a higher rating but I couldn't give it 4-5 stars for two main reasons. The first was that if a place is called a "creamery" I'm immediately getting excited and thinking that they make their own ice cream and I'm gonna see some cows. But they just sold Hersheys ice cream which was tasty, but not original. Second, I'm still salty as I got considerably less ice cream than my friends due to differences in who was scooping, and feeling cheated over ice cream is never a good feeling. Otherwise, the place was clean, and I really appreciated the 1950's soda fountain vibe that they we're going for. There was tons of seating, and the milkshakes were enormous which is fun. So if you're looking for Hershey's ice cream, but a variety of flavors, West Orange Creamery may be for you.

They had drip coffee, espresso coffee, iced or hot. I ended up getting coffee with ice cream in it!!! So yummy :) I was able to try as many flavors as I desired without frustration which is honestly so pleasing. Trying flavors was encouraged!!! My boyfriend got a Shaken egg nog ice cream thing (called a Jerk i think) which was delicious! You also get to keep the jar. Pretty interesting history behind the term "Jerk" when it comes to soda bars. The owner gave us a history lesson it was great. Service was 11/10, Ice cream was 11/10, it was so so clean, and the whole place was a vibe. It's a great place to take your family and go with friends. Please come support this business you won't regret it!!

West Orange Creamery was a cute pit stop with great flavors, fun menu items, and a cute photo op against the back wall. Whenever you check in on Yelp, you get a free waffle cone upgrade that they make and roll to order. I also chose the brownie and caramel swirl flavor, which was delicious! They do not offer free cups of water, so you would have to buy a bottle or order one of their specialty drinks if you get thirsty.
So good!! Love this shop in the Ocoee area. They are in a small strip mall with a few other shops and a theater so parking does get busy, but they have a large back lot for cares as well. Once inside it has a warm and inviting feeling, very much a throw back vibe to soda fountain days. I'm a classics fan so I go for chocolate here and it's super tasty. They also do shakes and sundaes! Check out there weekly specials on the board for rotating flavor options. Staff is always friendly and moves the line along if it builds up. There's plenty of seating and some things to look around at so get up and wander! There's a couple table top games there too, of you're feeling competitive! Maybe loser buys. ;)) Overall: A+ Great local ice cream shop with a welcome vibe and good flavors!
This is a local spot with awesome vintage vibes and fantastic ice cream. The place is spacious and clean, with cool rustic decor. It's got old fashioned sodas, a killer line up of ice cream and creative shakes. Plus it's local. So ditch the chains for dessert and give this place a try. You won't be sorry. Your kids especially won't be mad about it. Oh and the coffee here is really great. I had an espresso that puts the big guys to shame. read more

uper cute, welcoming, nostalgic ice cream and soda shop. From the outside it doesn't look that big, but the inside is very spacious with lots of space to walk around and plenty of places to sit. The inside was fun and welcoming, and the decorations eclectic and old school. They had a great selection of ice cream and various sodas and floats. I only have positive things to say about the delicious ice cream and the whole vibe this place gives off. read more

This place is a HIDDEN GEM. We got the Nana's Love sundae but substituted with the coconut almond chocolate ice cream and it was amazing. The rum cake is incredible and I still think about it often. The cherry lime Rickey was also good but fair warning it's not overly sweet. The staff is also SO NICE!!!! read more
Small cute place, wasn't too busy when we went. There were so many flavors to choose from. I was feeling a milkshake, and it was pretty good! It was made quickly. I like how there were pieces of cookie in the shake as well. Overall, pretty good. Only negative was on separate occasion tried booking the place for an event and was quite difficult getting a hold of anyone. read more

A great local dessert spot if you're craving some dairy deliciousness! For those of you who are locals, this is located right in the plaza in front of the West Orange Movie Theater. ~Ice cream~ Many great flavor options to choose from and you have the option of a getting it in a cup/cone/freshly made waffle cone. You can also opt for a milkshake or a sundae instead if you're not feeling just ice cream. They also have specials on specific weekdays and if you check in on yelp, you can get a free warm waffle cone! I got the cappuccino crunch (5/5) which was amazing. If you love coffee flavor with a bit of texture and crunch in your ice cream, this would be a great one to try. ~Service~ 5/5, service was great and the ladies who took our orders and rung us up were very nice and completed our orders accurately and efficiently. Overall, I will definitely come here again and would recommend stopping by! read more

Good vegan options. But price is high. 7$ for 2 scoops of vegan ice cream / a medium. Small business. Def the cutest old school ice cream parlor. Was fairly busy but employees handled it well and were very friendly. The boozy popsicles are a bit too sweet for my taste. They also can add booze to ice cream which is rare. Found this place bu accident . I was in the mood for a chocolate milks shake . Turns out all the ice cream is from Hershey's ,delicious. I tried a chocolate cookie dough milkshake with whip cream and cherry on top it was delicious. Cute spot to kill time before a movie or just on a hot summer day for the kids . read more

Hey I really love ice cream. In college I worked at the DQ and I am not above eating ice cream for breakfast if the fancy strikes. So since I am somewhat of an ice cream aficionado - why the heck have I not been to West Orange Creamery? It is fantastic and I probably would drive miles for the cake they sell. This is not like the ice cream you just scoop. They have soda jerks which are kind of like a bartenders that makes a craft cocktail. This place has fine ingredients. Normally there is one or two flavors I am vaguely interested in but this place has three flavors that made me wish I had a bigger stomach. I got the brown sugar bourbon ice cream with a toasted marshmallow on top. In one word it was super. I happened to get a little sample of their cakes. I also bought one that was about 7 or 8 inches in diameter and was excited to taste the vanilla flavor. I gave my husband the small sample cake and set the other one on the counter. I came out later and there was just a small slice left. I was kinda of upset but when I tasted the cake and understood there was no stopping because I inhaled that slice. So to summarize I cannot say which I liked better the cake or the ice cream. Next time I plan to order both. Adding West Orange Creamery as one of my go to places and certainly the best ice cream in the Orlando area. read more

Five stars for a great neighborhood creamery that serves plenty of delicious sweet treats! As soon as one walks in, they are immersed in decor and wall art from a simpler time. The time of nickel sodas and quarter pint ice creams. Definitely the hay day of soda jerks and ice cream shops. There's plenty of board games and card games for patrons to enjoy while they enjoy their dairy and nondairy sweet treats! Our group decided to partake in a game of Uno. They make their waffle cones and waffle bowls fresh with a waffle maker and it helps melt the ice cream ever so nicely. I opted for my favorite, the mint chip, and it certainly gets two thumbs up from this guy. It was the perfect ratio of minty goodness to chocolate chip! The subtle crunch of the waffle cone topped it off. Definitely will return next time! read more
This delightful local creamery serves my very favorite ice cream--Hershey's--in a wide range of flavors. This Hershey's is unrelated to the candy company; it's actually older. Their flavors a rich and complex, with great consistency. I usually just like a scoop or two in a cup, but West Orange Creamery have everything from waffle cones to genuine banana splits. The employees and owners are really into it, and can give you great advice about their favorites. read more
My Brother-in-law recommended West Orange Creamery (WOC), so we decided to get a treat after some play time at the park. WOC is such a cute little shop that serves Hershey's Ice Cream and a variety of different treats for all ages. - Parking - Center lot. - Vibe - It has a neighborhood feel with a cute feature wall with a heart made of string lights which catches your attention as soon as you walk in. It has high ceilings and quite spacious for an ice cream shop. There is some bar top seating as well as tables and chairs throughout the shop. A variety of board games can be found in their cupboard as well as the large textile checkers board with jumbo checkers pieces on some of the tables. They also have small retail corner with lots of cute t-shirts and other knick knacks. There are a lot of vintage photos throughout the shop as well as a wall dedicated to the NY Yankees. - TLC - On our visit, it seemed like a mother-daughter duo and they were as sweet as their treats ;). We were a party of 7, of all ages and they took great care of us and made some great recommendations. - Eats / Refreshments - They have a great variety of treats from the regular scoops of ice cream to special sundaes. They also have classic milkshakes as well as "special" milkshakes. I asked if they were the over-the-top, trendy milkshakes that are usually garnished with a slice of cake, a cookie and every topping under the sun. The answer was no and their special milkshakes are the ingredients listed are what is blended in the milkshake. However, the lady informed me that they have special events where they do those crazy milkshakes four times a year, so you'll have to stay tuned to their social media channels to keep-up-to-date on those events. They also offer other things like Egg Cream, which is supposedly a NY thing, but it didn't appeal to me. Seltzer water and cream? No thanks, I'll pass. What I thought was pretty neat though, was that they served frozen sangrias that are blended with your choice of sorbet and I thought that was a nice offering for people like my husband's aunt, who ordered exactly that and loved it. Cookies 'N Cream Milkshake - great consistency and was topped with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. Rum Cake Sundae - The base was ice cream with Rum cake, caramel sauce with whipped cream. It was pretty good. - Kiddos - They each got a Kids' scoop of Superman and Cookies N' Cream topped with gummy bears. Or course, no complaints there. - Heads Up - It also looked liked they had ice cream in small tubs to go! This was a great little spot to spend some family time with games and treats! read more

Okay... I'm obsessed! As soon as I saw this place on Yelp, I knew I had to try it. I'm a huge milkshake enthusiast, and it's always been my personal dream to own an old fashioned soda fountain like this one, so I made plans right away to visit this place ASAP, and it did not disappoint! The outside of the place (located in a very nondescript strip mall) is not at all where you would expect to find a business like this, so it really is a hidden gem. The inside is spectacular! The decorations are detailed and great, from the old stand up piano to the cute red and white star-patterned cloth on the chairs. There is a great variety of flavors of ice cream, and the "soda jerk" who was working when we visited was super friendly and offered us samples of whatever we wanted to try. When we first arrived to the location, it was dead, and I was worried that their somewhat inconspicuous location was hurting their business. Then I realized it was around dinner time on a Wednesday, and after a little while of hanging out there I was happy to see more and more people trickling in--but not so many to be loud and annoying! We first got a milkshake (me) and a sundae (my girlfriend) and she went to check out the variety of games available to play (Connect 4, Jenga, a deck of cards, checkers, and Uno). We wound up playing Uno for the hour or so that we sat hanging out and enjoying the location. The milkshake was the perfect consistency. I got it with whipped cream, even though whipped cream can be very hit-or-miss for me, and was very glad I did. Once we were finished with our ice cream, we decided we had to try the soda while we were there... She got a cola, and I was delighted to find that they had sarsaparilla on the menu, my weirdo favorite. Both were so deliciously fresh-tasting, and I can't wait to try more of their sodas next time! It's about 30 minutes from my house, but I fully intend to make this my personal hang-out spot and can't wait to take more of my friends here! There's actually a movie theater located right behind the strip mall this is located in, so I think it would be a great place to grab an ice cream after a movie. I've never been to that particular theater, but it's also locally owned and has great Yelp reviews, so I think I'll check that out as well next time I come to visit the West Orange Creamery! read more
