I needed my kitchen cabinets to be fixed. I also needed a small part of my flooring to be fixed. After asking around and searching on Google, I found this company on Yelp and boy, am I happy that I found them. This company is so legit & honest. In every way. Called them up sometime last week and told them what my problem was and A.J, (the manager), sent a guy by the name of Alex today to fix/repair my kitchen cabinet door and the floor. Appointment was at 11AM and they showed up 10 minutes prior. So punctual! A.J. and Alex were so patient, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. The work was done in less than 2 hours. He even polished the floor and the cabinets. They also specialize in Drywall installation, Drywall repair, Floor installation, Siding installation, Electrical, Water damage repairs, and remodeling any part of your home, apartment, & office. Every project has its own price and value. For those 2 repairs, I paid them $140.00, which is a very fair and affordable price. They accept cash, credit cards and that's all I know. Have 3 locations in total. Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and this one. Thank you AJ, Alex and team. So grateful that I have found you guys.:-) Highly recommend!!!! read more

Before the visit, the company was very diligent about scheduling and keeping me aware of the arrival time. The main service I needed was removing some cabinetry in order to access the back of my refrigerator. Their repairman was knowledgeable and well-equipped to remove some kitchen cabinetry for me, as well as fix some poorly-functioning doors throughout my house. He was very efficient with his time. It was a great value and I will hire West LA Handyman again as needed. read more

It's very difficult especially when you are dealing with deadlines to find reliable, consistent help. I appreciated their flexibility in working with me. Much easier to deal with than Task Rabbit to be honest but paying for 2 hours of work upfront is the only reason this review is not 5 stars. I would prefer to pay for the actual work hours. They are very nice people, very helpful, licensed and insured. I would definitely use this service again. Recommend.. read more

I replaced the medicine cabinet in the hall bathroom that has 3 mirrored doors. The work was done well and professionally. The photo with the white frame is the old one and the framless is the new one. I paid extra because of the reliable, and professional service I received. I will use this handyman service again and I definitely recommend them. read more

I recently used this handyman service, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Alex came to fix my front door, which had started sagging and rubbing against the frame. He arrived right on time within the 9-10 a.m. window and immediately inspected the issue before starting any work. Within seconds, he identified the root cause -- the original builder had installed the door frame incorrectly, causing it to slowly shift over time and make the door sag. The company charges $80 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Alex explained everything clearly and estimated he could finish within the two-hour window, which he did. After completing the job, the door opened and closed smoothly, and I went ahead and paid him. As he was leaving, I noticed the door lock bolt wasn't closing quite right. I caught him in the hallway, and without hesitation, he came back, grabbed another tool from his truck, and spent another 10 minutes fine-tuning it until everything lined up perfectly. He didn't charge me extra for that additional time, which I really appreciated. Although Alex's English wasn't perfect, he communicated clearly and was extremely patient throughout the small language barrier. He made sure I understood everything he was doing and confirmed that I was happy with the results before leaving. Alex was clean, polite, and professional throughout the entire visit. I'm very pleased with the quality of his work and his professionalism. I'll definitely be using this company again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable handyman! read more

Beyond expectations! West LA Handyman service closed up 6 rooms that just had mini-splits installs but refrigerant lines had to be run through the drywalls and opened up. Not only did the walls get patched perfectly but they also matched the paint color perfectly and did a seamless job of painting it such that you can't tell the drywall was ever opened up at all. Incredible job. I am already hiring them again for new jobs around the house! read more

I called on Ursa Pro to help my parents update their home after some recent flooding in their basement. Initially, I requested to install flashing but they suggested some great cheaper options. They changed out the vent covers and installed flashing in the key areas. The whole process was so smooth from start to finish- my parents were so thrilled with the service and kindness that they're already thinking of other projects to tackle. Thank you so much for all your help! read more

We found the company based on online reviews and decided to give them a try. We communicated online and AJ the manager utilized AI to render some design ideas which were exactly what we needed. Then, Alex showed up and completed the job neatly and punctually. We are very happy with their work and have already decided to hire them again for our next project. Bravo! read more

I hired an URSA pro from West LA Handyman again. What is this, the sixth time? They always do an excellent job. They've done plumbing, building and light fixture installation for me. Fixed my sprinklers, too. We got a little damage on the roof from the Eaton fires/wind. The pro came promptly, hopped up on the roof (they're fully insured and bonded) and took care of my concerns. I love these guys. They never mess around and their prices are very reasonable. Call 'em. They're better than aspirin. read more

Their crew was respectful of our home, took every precaution to keep the space clean and safe, and completed the work efficiently without cutting corners. I needed help assembling a patio furniture set. Rashid showed up on time and super efficient, brought a whole truckload of tools with him and completed the job with great expertise and thoroughness. Yuri was professional. Clean and detailed work. Quick response. Good pricing and no shady business

West LA replied timely and requested additional information about the project. They were able to come same day. They replaced the torn weatherstripping on the bottom of the door. Other repair services wanted me to replace jambs and other expensive repairs, but it just required new weatherstripping, stripping that I could not do myself. It required removing the door, having the tools to do the job and strength to lift a heavy wood door. They made sure to get the right color and make adjustments. They did a fantastic job! I no longer have an unsightly piece of rubber hanging off the door. read more

I reached out to West LA Handyman to inquire about their services to understand if they would be a good fit for my company needs. It appears they do excellent work, but unfortunately my recent conversation with the supervisor was unprofessional and incredibly rude which was completely unnecessary and uncalled for. read more

Exception service, have used several times for jobs around the house and highly recommend.

Hardworking, responsive, and responsible. I had them repaint the outside of my parents' house while smoothing out stucco. They were so good that I had them redo the entire balcony, again impressing me with their diverse skills that I had them entirely redo both of the bathrooms from the plumbing to the tile and cabinetry. They are excellent at everything they have done. And I am not an easy person to impress. I will continue to use them from simple to complex projects. read more
