We recently found mold in our back room and reached out to ARG Restoration and Construction. We spoke with Mario, and he was able to respond right away and even came out for a same-day visit. Once we agreed to the estimate, he had his team ready to start the mold remediation within 48 hours. Mario and his employees were incredibly polite, professional, and respectful throughout the entire process. They treated our home and us with care, and communication was always easy. They took the time to explain everything, completed the remediation within the timeframe they gave us, and immediately followed up with the reconstruction of the room. They also went above and beyond by doing a complete wipe-down of our bathroom and taking care of several touch-ups. Our bathroom and back room look amazing compared to how they looked before! We would definitely recommend ARG Restoration and Construction to anyone in need of restoration or construction services. Thank you so much to Mario and everyone at ARG--you are all truly appreciated! read more

I discovered mold in my bedroom and received several bids for the remediation and restoration work. The most reasonable quote came from ARG Restoration. Gabriel took the time to walk me through several options based on my budget, clearly explaining the pros and cons of each one. He told me the project would take a little over a week after the mold treatment, but the team finished everything in just four days. The workers were friendly, professional, and took the time to explain what they were doing and why. They also gave me style options for how the room would be put back together. Best of all, the total price ARG charged to tear out the affected areas, treat the mold, and fully restore my bedroom was the same amount another company quoted me just for mold treatment. I was extremely satisfied with their work and would definitely use ARG Restoration again. read more

I reached out to Rafael several years for repairs on my home. He was responsive and great, so this time I reached out to him again for another roof leak. Big disappointment. The first initial call was great and fast. As the work began, delays started coming up in almost every single process. Before the work began, I mentioned there was a small section of pipe that needed to be redone, and he agreed to do it. As the repair progressed, he didn't address the pipe, and kept telling me someone would be back to do it later on. Work began January 2026, and it is now almost May. Rafael has become super unresponsive, kept scheduling with no shows, and pushing back the repair. Then he just stopped responding altogether. Up to this point the repair still has not been done. ARG Service with Rafael was with an insurance claim. It seems to me like they just don't reply after getting paid. Very unprofessional and irresponsible. I want to recommend ARG and Rafael, but this experience has been frustrating and disappointing read more

I got three bids for the damage that had happened from a water leak from my ice cube water line. This company gave me a really good price, they did the work in a timely manner, they were respectful and worked hard. I highly recommend using this company because of the quantity of work they had to do. I am very thankful I hired them. read more

ARG was by far the best experience we've had with any contractor--and we've worked with quite a few! We hired Mario and his team for mold remediation and reconstruction, and they were exceptional from start to finish. Mario was prompt, responsive, professional, and incredibly easy to work with. His team, Fernando and Alex, were equally fantastic. They were professional, respectful of our space, and took great care to cover everything and keep the work area as clean and dust-free as possible throughout the project. The contract was well organized, straightforward, and easy to understand, and Mario was very fair in working within our budget. We would absolutely recommend ARG, Mario, Fernando, and Alex to anyone looking for a contractor for mold remediation, reconstruction, or any other project. read more

I had ARG come out for an assessment and they were very responsive and quick to schedule me. Came out same day and provided a quote shortly after their visit. Would highly recommend! read more

Very unprofessional experience. The mold in this case was limited to surface areas, and no leaks or water intrusion were present. Despite this, the contractor made statements directly to the tenant claiming that the work would not be effective unless walls or flooring were removed -- which was never approved and not part of the scope. These comments were inappropriate and should have been discussed with the property owner only. Instead, they undermined the agreed work and caused unnecessary concern for the tenant. Regardless of the work performed, this level of unprofessional communication is unacceptable. I would not use this company again read more

ARG did a thorough job removing mold, carefully cutting both hard wood and drywall, using massive dehumidifiers and carefully sealing up the impacted rooms during and after removal. I was use them again but hopefully I won't ever have to. read more

I previously used their San Diego location and service was good. This location was just as good. I had mold in a bathroom that some companies told me they would wipe down and paint over, because of my previous relationship with ARG I took the leap of faith and let them open up my walls. It was pretty bad. Glad I listened to the professionals my wife and I are truly happy and would recommend 100% read more

We had ARG take care of a reoccurring mold issue in 3 rooms. Mario is the first contractor we've encountered that was truly honest, real, understanding, great communicator, great workmanship. We really got value for our money. He took the time to explain everything & answered all our questions. His crew was respectful. read more

This is for the overall experience. They came out right away when I needed the consultation and presented, what I thought, was a good solution to my problem. The estimate was for 5 days of drying, they came, taped the place up, and left. Fast forward, the fans have been in place for almost 2 weeks and they have been near impossible to reach. With a newborn and a 1 year old, we need our kitchen, it would have been better if they returned phone calls or texts regularly instead of 2-3 days later. Also, initially they told us we would have access to the kitchen so we did not move the things we needed.. for a newborn (e.g. sanitizing machines), but when they got there, they taped off the main kitchen and we had no time to grab anything at all. The communication left something to be desired. Although the guy they sent (nephew to the owner?) was really nice about everything. read more

i've had such a long string of mediocre/bad contractors that working with rafael and his team was such a breath of fresh air. he's easy to text with and ask for updates and is very communicative about all details. his team was so accommodating of our "no shoes in the house" rules and not only laid down paper and wore booties, they even mopped up the floor when they were done! i had a small leak in the roof which led to water damage in the wall/ceiling of my primary room. they dried it out over a weekend, fixed the roof, and replastered everything and repainted with the correct paint match. it looks like nothing ever happened, but i can not recommend ARG enough to anyone looking for solid work at a reasonable price. estimates from other people were almost double the cost. thanks rafael! read more

We had a wonderful experience with Victor. He came to check out our concern. It turn out to be nothing, however his professionalism, communication, and punctuality were greatly appreciated. read more

Excellent work by the whole team, very professional and fast. The job was done very well. It's as if nothing ever happened.

I highly recommend Mario and his team. In high stress situations like an unplanned bathroom restoration, it is helpful to have a calm, patient, respectful, and attentive people meet your needs. Mario and his team did not disappoint. They lessen the stress instead of add to it. They also did the work above and beyond and the way you wanted it. Some necessary modifications were explained thoroughly, providing you enough time to make your final decision. They also ensure that the root cause of the problem was carefully addressed even if it was not part of the paid service, specifically the roof inspection, leak repair, and a re-inspection to ensure the roof is leak-proof. Mario was also flexible and patient with the changes in the mode of payment (Zelle, cashier's check, and cash). Overall, my bathroom looked wider, way nicer, and seamless, and the stress associated with work and payment were less. Additionally, the plumbing that I have done in front through them was done based on standard and specification, and with a valve to open for long-term issue. I am now relieved that I have a go-to person when my home needs TLC. read more

We had a unit that had an active leak for a few months and the tenant did not realize until months later. Mold and moisture was all throughout the kitchen. We even had to replace the floor due to the tenants not realizing the discoloration of the floor. I met with a bunch of contractors to get estimates and Mario stood out most to me. Very easy going, honest, and helpful. It was one of the worst situations I had to deal with however Mario took over and put my stress at ease. I greatly appreciate working with him. If I am in another crisis, I know who to call. Thank you Mario, much appreciated. read more

I had a mold remediation to bathroom project from March 9 to 12, 2026 and it was successfully completed this afternoon. Gabriel with ARG quickly gave me an inspection on the day I entered a request on Yelp on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Rafael Garcia emailed me a quote on February 24, 2026. After 2 more companies did their inspections, I finally decided on February 28, 2026 and approved the quote from ARG Restoration & Construction. Gabriel and Carlos arrived very close to the agreed time in the morning on March 9, 2026. Carlos started working on day one, March 9, 2026 all the way to day four, March 12, 2026. He got some assistance with Emiliano on day two, March 10, 2026 for a brief time - less than one hour in the morning. Carlos has been professional and outstanding in completing the project. He was able to troubleshoot certain issues and was able to find a solution that produced excellent results. Gabriel was also helpful in the initial inspection and provided support via our text messages during these four days. Gabriel also helped me by having Frank come and take out all the trash that accumulated yesterday, March 11, 2026. I am very satisfied with the results and hopefully there will be no more leaks for many decades to come. I highly recommend ARG Restoration & Construction Inc especially if you live in Orange County, California. Thank you for helping me with this project. read more

Mario and his team were amazing. Calls were almost always answered [and were returned promptly if they were missed]. The scope of work was explained clearly and executed well, at a reasonable price. Mario was also very good at managing my expectations. He never overpromised, which I find is a common issue when working with home repairs/construction. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mario and ARG. read more

I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again. We had water damage in two of our bathrooms. Rafael was very quick to respond to my inquiry on Yelp. Literally within a few minutes! He explained everything thoroughly over the phone, gave us a free inspection within a few hours that day and was able to start and complete the job a few days later. His team was efficient, professional, and did a great job. read more

After receiving estimates, I chose ARG for the following reasons: Rafael explained what was going on with my mold problem in a way that made sense. He gave me a detailed quote for the entire job (remediation and restoration), which was very important because I have a limited budget. He was also able to give me a senior discount which I much appreciated. The parts of the quote that I could compare directly with the other companies' estimates were definitely competitive. Also, ARG was the only company that provided a 1 year warranty. The work took 6 days total, with 3 days of the drying/moisture control process in between the remediation work (Ricky, Andrew, Jose) and the rebuild work (Arnold, Caesar). The entire team was great and hard working. I also really appreciated that Rafael came back after the work was completed to check everything. read more

Schedule an appointment with Mr Rafael earlier today. He is courteous, knowledge, and able to answer my question clearly so I can understand what needs to be done in my project. Rafael & Mario make a great team and provide quality service at a respectable rate. Mario's team mitigated the mold that had grown in my bathroom from a leaking shower where there was a small leak behind the drywall. I am blessed that God answered my prayer before I decided on who to contract. The quote I received from Mario was the best. I received quotes from four other companies (yelp recommendations). They completed the mitigation and rebuild in a few days. I am very pleased with their quality of work and how quick they were to complete it all. Mario's team is hardworking and I am pleased with their service. I would easily recommend them to family and friends. read more

WHOA what a difference. Use these guys! They're fantastic. Our insurance company hired ANM Reconstruction who were beneath horrible. Just an awful experience. I finally used YELP and found Ralph and Gabe at ARG who were a breath of fresh air. WE LOVED them like family. They took very good care of us after our horrible flood from a bad SAFESTEP bathtub. They are so honest, skillful and helpful. They also hire quality workers instead of low balling everyone and getting crap. They do absolutely beautiful work. Our paint job is fantastic and our home looks great. They're both used to working with women and are very respectful. Both Ralph and Gabe have the ability to explain without condescending. They realized we were on a budget and helped us cut corners without losing quality. They put my home back together like I wanted it....not how they wanted it. I would ALWAYS hire them for any construction project in the future. I believe I was treated like I was their own mother. They make you feel secure, comfortable and happy. I can't recommend them enough and will always be eternally grateful to them for saving us from the dreaded ANM! Remember ARG....like the Pirate! A+ read more

This team produces high quality results with integrity and is extremely responsive. No one ever wants to return from a trip out of town to experience a drainage issue stemming from construction next door. The next morning (on a Sunday, during football season) ARG had two of their best at our house. They were knowledgeable and got right to work, while demonstrating care for our family's personal belongings. Pricing was more than fair especially for the outcome achieved. Strongly recommend these ARG team!! read more

This is a long overdue review. Mario's team rebuilt my water damaged kitchen 8 months ago and replaced the bathtub 4 months ago. They did fantastic jobs on both project. See attached pictures. It's hard to tell which part of the kitchen was rebuilt. The results of the restoration were beyond my expectations. They completed the complex restoration within 2 weeks. Almost half the time compared to other general contractors. If you want to find a construction company that is reliable, has good workmanship, and is reasonably priced, you should give ARG a try. I am very grateful to Mario for his patience and sincere service. read more

I had a small job to test the air in the ceiling space for mold which needed immediate attention. Rafael and his team Victor came in on a short notice. The mold test was negative and in a few days Rafael scheduled Arnold and Abel to come over and patch the holes. ARG Restoration is an outstanding company who performed well and had competitive price. read more

We had just moved into our home at the beginning of this year and within a couple of weeks, there was a leak in our kitchen! I contacted Raphael and he got Mario to come out and take a look at our kitchen and assess everything while we worked with our home insurance company to get the damages covered. They took care of everything from the mold to demo to asbestos to storage and putting my kitchen back together. The best part was them handling our home insurance as well! They kept us up to date with everything and when I had questions, Mario was quick to respond. Their employees were all so very kind and respectful of our home as well. We had filed at the end of January and got my kitchen back by end of June! By August another pipe had burst (old pipes in the slab foundation) in our kitchen and they quickly came and dried it all out and helped us repipe the house in 3 days. We've gotten quotes from other plumbers but ARG gave us a much better deal and honestly because of how well they took care of us during the restoration of our kitchen, there was no doubt I wanted to continue working with them. We have other big projects for our home and when the time comes, we will be contacting them again! They made a very stressful time for us a much easier and better experience. read more

I had a leak in my kitchen, when talking to the insurance claim adjuster, they concluded that the damage to my home was minimal. I wasn't happy with their response because my plumber who had stopped the leak, had stated otherwise. The adjuster suggested I call a remediation company and have them give another opinion. That's when I found Rafael on Yelp. He was absolutely incredible from the beginning. He came out and diagnosed the problem which ended up being pretty big and he submitted all required paperwork to the insurance to get my claim approved and paid. The progressive insurance claim adjuster was also fantastic so that really helped a lot. Ricky his worker was excellent and did a great job with the mold cleanup. The issues came when I turned the payment over to Rafael before all the work was fully completed. It also didn't help that he got busy after the LA fires. He stopped being as responsive as in the beginning and ended up leaving quite a bit of details unfinished and just kept giving me the run around about fixing things. Grant it, I'm a bit of a perfectionist but even when I tried to compromise on a lot of little details and when I was understanding of several fixes that had to be made, he still fell short of his final commitments to me and it's disappointing that it ended up being that way. Moral of the story, don't pay until things are completed to your satisfaction and you should be okay. read more

Extremely happy with working with ARG and Rafael's team. I initially called Rafael when I had issues with my prior contractor, he was able to give me a very fair bid pretty much next day and helped restore our water damaged home to even better than before. We took the opportunity to just do a bigger remodel of restoring our kitchen/bathroom/floor and all of it looks even nicer than the old. I appreciated that Rafael was easier to talk to and quick to get back to me unlike my last contractor. All his team members were professional and hard workers. Cannot thank you guys enough! read more

Rafael is one of the most efficient professionals in remediation and reconstruction that i had met. He was fast in giving his honest estimate. And when he said he will be there he was always on time. His workers were also very dependable and trustworthy. I chose him from 3 other company because of his reliability, smartness, reasonable price, fast response and quality work. I hope he will call me back or send the estimate of my next project with him. Working with him gives me confidence that the work is done correctly and that I am getting an honest contractor to work with. Thank you Rafael and your workers who were all good on what they do. Amazing service and work done by Mario and his team! We had mold along our garage from a water heater leak and Mario was extremely fast and responsive. We had gotten quotes from other companies too but ARG's was about the same and they are able to rebuild/add drywall while the other companies would have required me to hire different parties (handyman, plumber) to get it done. Mario was always readily available to answer my questions in detail and his team was fast, efficient, and made our garage look like new! I highly recommend ARG and will continue to use them for any future rebuilds. read more

We had used this company 5 years ago on a mold restoration in one of our bedrooms. Was very happy with the work done so we called Rafael again for some water damage areas iny mother inlaws townhouse. Was able to reach him on a Sunday and met him on Monday morning to go over the issues. Very impressed at how responsive Rafael was during the project and his crew was very professional. We were able to get a demo crew in the next day and they began the remediation process the same day. They were able to get the work completed before the next rain storm. Was impressed by how versatile his crew was. They fixed copper piping behind the wall, replaced rotted wood in the atrium, redid the fiberglass cover, replaced wood planks and redo the gutters. They were able to do anything we needed. Very happy with the quality of work. It wasn't cheap but worth it. read more

Right after the Altadena fires, Rafael came up with a plan to get our house ready to be moved back into with smoke remediation.
