Plus Jiffy Lube wanted to replace my wiper blades on my Brand New Honda Accord with 5000 miles on it! But Never at Caldwell Tire Auto Shop because Honesty is Best and Honestly, you just don't need new tires at every oil change like its NASCAR.

After installing the fuel injector they advised there was problems with the piston or rings. I trued to talk to them to find out if they installed the fuel injector wrong and caused the damage but they don't take calls. Their voicemail says to text them. So you text, but they either don't respond or just give a limited self serving response. I went there to pick up the car to take it to another mechanic and they refused to advise if the car is safe to operate, refuse to discuss the work they did or their misdiagnosis. They advised they will not release the car without full payment, When I tried to pay them via a check, they advised they do not accept checks but no where do they stare such prior to pick up. They want cash, Zelle or a credit card and if you use a credit card you have to pay a 3 percent fee. Then they require you to sign their self serving summary after payment or they "Will void out the payment" and refuse to give you the keys. I wrote on their document "disputed" and that I reserved the right to sue them. They refused to accept what I wrote - I had to get the local police involved just to get the car back that I fully paid them for. ---// it was such a crazy experience I told them I was going to record it on my phone and they said the they will not talk at all. It was an oil pressure sensor but they didn't perform that type of service and the technician suggested Meineke down the road. Andy, the owner was super accommodating and took the car in, performed the repair and did a complete check of the rest of the car. He noted a few items that could wait and off I went after a fair priced service. As luck would have it, a few days later I noted steam lightly coming out from under the hood. Back to Andy who moved me up the waiting list and repaired what turned out to be a radiator leak and bad water pump. The price was reasonable and his attitude towards service was outstanding. Finding a good local mechanic is not easy and if you are in need of one, II highly recommended this place

They offer cheap gas and pay in cash only. On my way home from my vet for my dog, I needed some gas. It was very low. So, I've arrived to the gas station at 250 Bloomfield and like always - I've ask to fill it up "Plus". It was the afternoon gas worker that assisted me. When it was done he came to me and ask for $32 . I paid the amount that was asked and left. As I was driving, I've notice my gas meter was still very low. Like it didn't even move up at all. My fiancee was also with me at the time. So, I did a U turn and went back. I pulled up and told the guy to take a look at my gas meter. He refused. I told him you gave me no gas and took my money and let me drive away. He said, "I don't know what you are talking about and I gave you gas. I've been working here for three years." I said, "so I have been coming here for seven years." What does that have anything to do? He admitting that he knows what he is doing? "I guess???" I told him, "No LOOK at my car's meter -- It has no gas still. Either your pump is boke or my meter is not working." He still he refused to take a look. He said to me, "I will give you your money back and go away." I knew something was up, and this guy was trying to pull a fast one on me. I said, "No way. I asked for a full tank of gas and I didn't get what I've paid for." I told the gas guy, "prove it to me you filled it up? I will pull my car back around to the pump and see if you can put more gas in?" After I've repeated myself like three or four times in a row, he finally got the point. I am not leaving... I pulled around and he put the pump into my car. Guess what! my tank was still empty and filled up to $40. I told him, "why are you robbing people and why are you tying to scam me?" He just ignored the fact that he was wrong. He started to ignore me some more and walked away. The last thing I told him is that he needs to go to church. This guy is evil. I got back into my car with a full tank of gas now. Never again, I will go back there. When I got home, I called the Caldwell police and made a compliant. I don't really have the time to bring them to court and it's kind of of a waste of time. I was told that the police has been there many times before.
