I have been going to this shop for 26 years, and it turns out there is zero loyalty. He will rob…read moreanybody and doesn't care who it is. I am completely done playing games after spending thousands of dollars here for repeated misdiagnoses while my car is still broken. Let's look at the track record: The Starter: Months ago, I paid $550 for a new starter based on their diagnosis. It didn't fix the problem. The Charging System: Before that, when the alternator wasn't charging, they bypassed it with an external voltage regulator. Last week, after getting a new alternator and a new PCM (computer), the battery light came right back on--meaning the PCM wasn't the actual problem either, and that was another wrong diagnosis. The Current Situation: Then I was told it was a transmission switch. I spent $300 on that part, and they expected me to bring it in while I'm still dealing with the exact same unresolved issues. To top it all off, he actually had the audacity to try and shake me down for $300 he claims I owe him, when I have already handed over thousands for his incorrect guesses and failed repairs over nearly three decades. I am done paying for guesswork and betrayal. At this point, I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and taking all of my documentation straight to an attorney's office. Do not trust this shop to properly diagnose or fix your vehicle.
