Clam chowder bread bowl
Steve A.

I was greeted right away as soon as I walked in. The interior was very clean. Nadya gave me a warm welcome and took my order. She took my order quick and my food came out right away. The soup was hot and the bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I will definitely come back again soon.

I stopped here at the Tesla superchargers about 9:50 am. I was planning on going into Raley's to pick up a sandwich and use the restroom. But I saw the sign for Sweet Charlie's which intrigued me as I love ice cream. Then I saw the sign for West Coast Sourdough and knew where I was getting lunch. I walked up to the store at about 9:55 am. The open sign was lit but alas the door was locked. So I was peeking in the window to better see the menu and Nav came out and asked if I wanted to come in... well how could I not accept the kindly offered invite!! Their sandwiches looked way better than a Raley's sandwich. I went in and realized that West Coast Sourdough and Sweet Charlie's share the same space. I asked Nav the kind gal that had invited me in 5 mins before they actually opened at 10 what her favorite sandwich was... she said for a hot sandwich chicken pesto and a cold sandwich turkey with cranberry. Both sounded great! I ordered the hot chicken pesto with everything and am I glad I did!! The chicken meat was tender and juicy. The pesto was there but not overpowering. And of course lettuce, tomatoes and red onions. The produce was fresh and the bread!! Wow... I got the sourdough... duh! It is some of the best sourdough I've eaten... and I've eaten a lot of sourdough being from the SF Bay Area! I highly recommend this sandwich shop. The service was great, the shop was spotless as was the bathroom. I also ordered a s'mores milkshake from Sweet Charlie's... it was delicious!! Boy am I glad I did go in.

I'm here very often. First I'm posting some pictures of their fresh baked cookies. I bought a big platter of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. They were so fresh and delicious. The ambience is so good I love the staff here they all greet with so much love and smiles on their faces all the time. Sandwiches are very good bread is baked fresh here as the orders come in, now let's talk about the soup all the soups are so good my personal favorite is chicken and poblano pepper soup. The service is very fast and food is packed and made with so much love. Love visiting this location.

The best desert, I ever had, I had namaste. I would like to try the waffles. Next time. Period. Really clean place in friendly service.

The best desert I ever had was at this spot. namaste was my favourite really clean place with good customer service.

$11 of chicken apparently?
Austin J.

Pretty disappointed with the outcome here. Ordered two sandwich's; a 6" chicken salad and a 4" turkey and dry salami. The chicken salad sandwich has to be the saddest sandwich I've seen for $11 with hardly any filling at all. You are better off going to Raley's Nextdoor and getting the same sandwich with twice the filling for half the cost.

Strawberry shortcake rolled ice cream

Was pleasantly surprised when we came to charge our car! We had the strawberry shortcake ice cream and a strawberry waffle! The ice cream was creamy and delicious. The waffle was amazing! The staff was very courteous and the place was very clean! My husband and I highly recommend!

Turkey, cranberry sando w everything is the one to get! It's one of their popular items and, when you try it you will know why. The flavors mesh together really well the Dijon mustard, cranberry sauce, spring mix, and fresh sourdough. Yes. Yes. And Yes. Staff was knowledgeable of the menu, very friendly and accommodating. This is a restaurant that this little town needed! However, It's a little pricey. A medium sando w a fountain drink was $14. If you want to add chips it'll add $5 to the $14.

This restaurant has stellar reviews on Google and yelp so I decided to give them a try Simple decor, great service and amazing food. I am taken. Back by the freshness, flavor and how perfectly they cook their pasta. The ravioli was plump they didn't skimp on the ingredients. This is a small business that's doing things right. The prices are fair and I hope they stay open for a long time. I will certainly return

Service: attentive but a bit slow to get to order. We were told to sit at a table and wait to order. Took about 20 minutes. My sister came after us ordered at the counter. By the time her food came, I asked when can we order. They said our server would be out shortly. We still waited. Food: disappointed they ran out of chicken. The meatball was ok. Penne Brown Butter and meatball: the noodles were flat, only one meatball but tasty with cheese. I should have chose pink sauce since I was told after I ordered that chicken was sold out. Spaghetti with meatballs: perfect Fettuccini with chicken & pink sauce: amazing (this was my nephews order the one my sister ordered at counter) Zoodles with chicken in Alfredo sauce: perfect according to my sister Fettuccini with sausage & Alfredo sauce: just ok because no chicken (my son didn't like it without chicken) Bread: amazing and a hit If I would have known about the chicken I would have ordered something completely different. I was told after and didn't have the menu.

I ordered a wor wonton soup, 2 orange chicken plates with chow mein/fried rice combo with egg roll. When I came in the restaurant I was greeted by staff and they had my food ready. The wor wonton soup was phenomenal and the flavor was phenomenal. The wonton, chicken, shrimp, veggies and the broth was everything. My wife and mother in law loved their food. The orange chicken was the start of the dish. The ambiance is customer service friendly. The menu has some great selection on the menu. A great place to go to for Chinese food.

The inside is very clean with a beautiful salt water tank that holds breathtaking fish. Let me get to the food, I did a pickup order which included a combo plate with honey chicken, fried rice and chow mein. It was a nice sized serving can't complain about that. The fried rice was just okay, a bit dry with more oil taste than anything else. The honey chicken is deep fried in a thick batter but there's no real honey taste to it, not to me. The chow mein was also just ordinary, nothing that sets it apart from any other chow mein. Greasy and like it had been sitting all afternoon. On the bright side the potstickers were delicious although a bit greasy as well. Last was the best part of my order, honey walnut shrimp. Looked more like prawns to me and with a lot of meat. Slices of pineapple and the candied walnuts with the mayo based sauce that was so yummy. I suppose I'm just waiting on a Chinese restaurant to wow me and no one has been able to thus far. I have to keep trying restaurants until I find the "one".

Except for chain and fast food places off of Highway 99 there aren't a lot of worthwhile options for lunch. It's worth the short several blocks drive down A Street to get there. The place is large, full of character and clean. The restroom was updated and spotless. There's a nice outdoor patio with plenty of seating in a courtyard atmosphere. We chose a booth, indoors, and menus were brought right away, along with water. There are plenty of selections for lunch, including the usual burgers and sandwiches with some specialty items, for example Cajun Pasta. We shared a Bavarian pretzel for an appetizer with mustard dip. It was good but a bit on the greasy side. The mustard went well with it. For my lunch I ordered the Blackened Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries ($2 extra). The portions are huge! Definitely a good value for the quality of the sandwich, which had big chunks of chicken, bacon, avacado, lettuce, tomato, cheese and a tangy aioli sauce. Quite delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty. I was very pleased, and full. Washing it down with an iced tea was perfect. Service was very personable and professional. We were well taken care of with iced tea refills and offers of extra ketchup, etc. When in the area or on a road trip throuth these parts I'd definitely be back.
