    Cobb salad
    Julianne G.

Deli in the Vons plaza near Batter Up at Fowler and Herndon area. Friendly service. They have chowder bowls, soup of the day, salads and sandwiches made with yummy crisp hot sourdough rolls. My husband ordered the dry salami and turkey sandwich with clam chowder, and I got the Cobb salad. He said his sandwich was great with the roll being the best sourdough roll in the area for him. I ordered the Cobb salad, and it had plenty of chicken, blue cheese, avocado, bacon and egg. Unfortunately, I didn't like either of the dressings I picked, the jalapeño ranch or the Greek. I would try either an Italian or just oil and vinegar if I go again. I ordered a large salad but couldn't finish it. I would get the small if I go again. The clam chowder was fresh and you could tell it wasn't just out of a can. Better yet, I will try a sandwich next time since my husband raved about his. You also get warm bread with your salad order. My husband also tried a cookie, which was very good as well. Inside was clean and modern looking . Definitely will be back to try a sandwich.

    Clam chowder bread bowls =Amazing!!

I'm so glad this deli/restaurant came into Clovis!! I've been here numerous times and every time my food is hot, tasty and perfect portions. Today I got the spring special Greek grilled chicken sandwich, I added on the soup & drink to make it a meal! Of course I got clam chowder- amazing as always!! I usually get the garlic turkey pesto sandwich, I've had the French dip as well- ALL great options. The customer service is so good, friendly and professional!! I absolutely love how this restaurant is decorated, it is so stylish, the artwork is really cool. I really like the wood and metal accents. Today I ate outside on the patio, it's nice they have a couple tables on the patio to enjoy great weather & temps. I highly recommend this place, everything is so fresh, the bread is freshly made and perfectly crispy, dunk it into the soup... Mmmmmm

I've been trying to find a really good pastrami sandwich to replace my favorite from Gino's (which sadly closed). I think I finally found a close match!! The sandwich was so delicious. The meat was nice and lean. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

9/19/23 Getting lunch! Ordered via Yelp. Super easy! Veggie sandwich with turkey meat added. Added other ingredients like jalapeños. I went to pick it up. Very nice restaurant. Music playing! Clean and safe. Greeted and let worker know. Only waited a minute and it was ready! Lunchtime! Sandwich split. My half was really Great! Fresh veggies, bread and peppers with pepper jack added a nice spice! Really delicious! Fresh pickle half with it too! Mother said her half was Great and that it tasted really fresh! Good service and great sandwich! Highly recommended!

Chicken poblano Soup of the Day

Came in for lunch and it was my first time there. I didn't get a chance to look at the menu before hand but the cashier was very helpful. I couldn't make up my mind, as usual, but he let me know which sandwich was most popular. Apparently it's the French dip! I love a good French dip. You can get different combos like with chips and a drink, Mac n cheese and a drink, salad and a drink or soup and a drink. I love soup so I was interested in that combo. Their daily soup is clam chowder and their Friday soup is chicken and poblano chile. He gave me a sample of the chicken and poblano and yes, I had to have a cup! It was so delicious. I ordered a 6 inch sub and with the soup and soda it was sort of pricey. Like $18 for a lunch combo! Next time I'll have a coupon haha! And I say next time because I'll be back for sure. The sandwich was so good and the bread was great! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with a nice chew. I loved it! The restaurant was clean and the staff was careful to wear gloves when handling food. Everyone was friendly and my order was ready quick.

The sandwiches tasted good as any sandwich nothing special about their taste. the service was nice for a morning they had good energy in the place. Now the prices for the sizes of sandwiches are over priced.

There was a group of people enjoying their coffee and when I went up to the counter, they said they were still open. They have a very large menu and can seem to customize pretty much anything you want including coffees and Red Bulls. The guy helping me was super nice and had a few suggestions based off of what I like. He recommended the mint chip, which I'm excited to see on the menu because those are usually seasonal and a lot of coffee spots. I enjoyed my mint chip drink which I was able to customize with oat milk and no whip cream. It wasn't too strong, but strong enough, and I really enjoyed the mint taste infused with the chocolate. My friend really liked her drink, which was an Horchata latte. We both said we would return.

The prices are really good for what you get and the quality of the food was above average as well. I wish they had online ordering outside of 3rd party apps that gouge the restaurant, the consumer, and the delivery driver but otherwise I could easily see myself grabbing a work lunch here. I just have to make sure I give myself enough time to call ahead and take the time to pay in restaurant. Overall, really good sandwiches and sides, good prices, just an old fashioned ordering system that you have to plan around.

I get my sandwich with light mayo and light mustard , lettuce , tomato and wax peppers You can also add a variety of other toppings if you prefer. My sandwich today was a 5 star sandwich, but I am going to hold my 5th star back until I can try their burgers. After reviewing the menu selection, it felt like I was waiting for a while just for a staff member to acknowledge us. Instead, the workers were standing with their backs to us , and left us standing there for a while. In fact , I was so confused I was looking around for a kiosk to order my food. The next thing that I didn't like was the price of our lunch. 45.00 for one sandwich , two small cups of soup , two fountain drinks , and a dessert. Seems pricey for a sandwich spot. I get it - this is a step up from Subway. However, for what I spent - I expected more. Finally, the dining room tables were grimy. I had to clean off our own table before the food arrived. I felt like this was inexcusable considering the amount of staff standing around not doing much. Here is what I did like. The menu has a nice variety of hot or cold sandwiches, sides , and desserts. Everything sounded so good. Today, I opted for the Monterey chicken sandwich. While the flavor was good, it ate a little messy. I had chicken pieces falling out and cheese oozing out of the bottom. I don't think I would order this again- there appears to be better options to choose from. The baked potato soup was really good ( salty but delicious)! Hands down , the best thing we tried was Gary's chocolate cake. That cream cheese frosting was heavenly! Heads up- this cake is super sweet ,and a little goes a long way. Feel free to share this dessert. I am coming back to try more menu items- I may have just ordered the wrong sandwich today.

Many better pizza places to give your business to. - Not living up to the hype at all. We ordered a BYO pizza which was decent, actually the best part of the order. The rest fell flat. Cesar salad was absolute garbage. I got the larger salad which was around $15 and I was given a sad salad of old romaine that was mostly the white stem. Which, may I add was going bad and not white it was getting that weird orange-pink looking color. We had the truffle knots which tasted hard and stale. It is reminiscent of when you try to microwave certain bread products and the item because chewy and hard. There was minimal butter/oil to coat them and lightly sprinkled with Parmesan. Total fail. With tip it was around $66 for food that wasn't enjoyable. With tons of other options in the pizza category, this one is not on the list. This would also be considered bad service in my opinion because whoever was in charge of the salad gave poor service. I will add a picture to validate my experience.
