I've only had my storage for about 2 weeks and within these two weeks I've had problems with the property. I was told to get the wrong lock, so I got one from ace hardware, took two trips before I just left my unit and had to come back the next day and buy locks. It was the cam shift ones. The few days after I got stuck trying to exit the storage facility, had to call the after hours number so they can contact the manager and then we had to talk and then she was able to open it. Then the next day, which is today, I came to the unit, I know the office doesn't open until 10am. I was there at 9:30, tried to open my unit, I'm in the hallways unit, didn't know that there was a combination for the lock code, because every time I came it was already opened and I was able to open the door and get Into my unit. Got there and couldn't get in because I was never given the combo code, at 10 am I called the office and nobody answered. Went to the door and nobody answered. Stayed there for an hour and still nobody was in the office, they should be opened from 10am - 6pm. I left at 10:48 and nobody was still there. I need to get into my unit and can't. This is unacceptable. I'm paying for a unit and had problems for the last two weeks. Update: came back at 12:30 still no one was in the office. The closed sign is still up and the "will return sign" still has 10am, so no one has been in this office since yesterday. It's really frustrating and once I get my access I'm thinking of putting all my things into public storage which is right next door. read more

Outrageous unit rental increases. Initially rented the unit for $259/month. After 1 month the rent was increased to $349. That's a significant rate increase and I was notified by letter with a short window before the increase. I believe this increase was not consistent with all units or new rental agreements. After complaining about this 50% increase, the rental rate was changed to $304/month. When I checked the rates on line the listed prices did NOT have rate increases. This is unfair and shows this management is shady. Please take your business elsewhere to a storage company that appreciates your business and is fare at all times. read more

I have been renting here for years and have never had an issue until recently. It's so hard to get in contact with someone to make a payment! They say pay by check or money order! From 2-4... not everyone can get there between those hours! They need to make it available to make payments online to make everyone's life easier!! They have changed! Customer service is nit what it used to be! They need to bring back the other people who was running That place! Now I'm afraid of my storage to being broken into. I was in Antioch a few years back and saw your storage units. I wasn't very impressed so I kept on going. I was visiting there a week ago and it was the difference between night and day. I stopped. A young lady named Vanessa greeted me and asked if I had any questions that she could answer for me. I looked around and the area was clean and the units were very clean. I went on their website and selected a storage unit and "booked" it. There was no confirmation email or phone call placed by the management. After about four days, I call and am told that they are at capacity. With today's technology, it doesn't take more than a few minutes to reply via email and let the customer know this fact. Why bother having a website and email if no one ever responds and all the information is out of date? Sad! read more

Just got our stuff out after 8 months using Antioch mini storage. We moved 3 hrs away and most of our stuff consisted of baby gear. Things we were saving for our next child. It's covered in mouse poop! We DID NOT have mice in our old house. We have 2 cats so they wouldn't last if there was. I wasn't there when the unit was cleared out it was my husband. Otherwise they definitely would've heard from me. You also can't pay over the phone which I think is ridiculous. When I asked about it they said they had too much fraud going on with cards. Yet I was able to write them a check from the same account? This place needs to get it together! Unless you want mouse crap in all of your stuff go somewhere else. read more

ive had my stuff here for a couple years now, in the beginning i was leery because the gate seemed to be buggy and sometimes needed to be reset? well that was fixed and now i couldn't be happier to be honest. i just wish they could take payments over the phone but you cant always have your cake and eat it too right? the guy below, rafael l was kicked out because of the scene he would cause because of steroid use. i personally dont blame them for kicking him out, the guy seems a bit off. I feel I at least owe it to Antioch Mini Storage to give them an Atta Boy, though I did not rent a space from them. If they would have had as favorable move-in special and monthly price as their competitors for a unit of near identical size, I would have leased a unit there. The unit was actually better, and easier to get to, but cost is king with me, and I was saving significantly more. The place was clean and kept up, even the lobby was nice. Jonathan was able to answer most all my questions to my satisfaction, less details of the security measures, they have, which was explained to me the reason for not disclosing details which might compromise the ability of it. I would have been comfortable enough having my goods there. read more

If you are looking for a one stop shop, check out this place. We have rented here for 6+ years and have only had good expirence's here. They rent U-hauls and all units are ground floor. We love this place, the managers are easy to deal with. read more

I wouldn't store anything here ever again, to say the least! The people that they have in charge are very rude and unprofessional, if not criminal. You have no way to contact any management or the "owner" if you have any issues with the receptionist. (So they say) They also charge you $100 if your ever locked in after 9pm, whether your at fault for or not, or whether you get out on your own and don't use their alarm company or not. And then get this, they actually lock your things up and deny you access immediately unless you pay the $100 right away. And if you ask for more details on the policy, then your lashed out at and threatened to be evicted, even if your caught up on your payments. I wouldn't recommend this particular storage to anyone, especially if your already going through a hardship. These people most definitely won't make anything easier for you. They're very unprofessional and lack compassion and respect for their customers, treating them with no dignity what's so ever. I would prefer to use the public storage next door. They treat you with respect and dignity, giving you a piece of mind knowing that your not going to be disrespected and treated as a second class citizen, because your in a bad situation. If your planning to use them to store your belongings or valuables, TRUST ME DON'T!!! YOU'LL REGRET YOU EVER DID,TRUST ME. read more

I am beside myself rite now I had the most unpleasant moment with a employee actually she is the live in manager there.. I usually pay my storage on the 10th witch is the last day to pay without getting a late fee is the 10th, so I went in today that 6th took get my Xmas stuff out since weekend is my only time available and I was gonna pay monday that my check clears the 8th the storage dues, well this lady comes out and I tell her that my storage is locked by them and its still not the 10th she just jumps into 4th gear and says "r u here to make a payment? I explained I would on Monday, and she said well no our contract says different" I automatically made a choice to not continue with them and asked if I still had to pay them the month ever though I was gonna take it all in that moment she said yes u do.. And the whole time she had her attitude while responding. I was very bothered because she could of came off a little different. There's this other lady named Aly who since the beginning has been nice but during all this she just stood there and look at may kids and I from top to bottom. Bad experience all the way. Very disappointed. Now time to look elsewhere. read more
