I like janitorial Supply stores because I am a clean freak and I like stationary stores because I am a nerd. The owner Phil Bill is a stand up man who has extensive expereince in the janitorial field. During COVID he was helpful to me as I am a Pastor and we needed the right products to keep people safe. His employee Brandon can repair any vacuum and he has extensive ecperience himself with all of their products. Our church has made this place our primary supplier for all of our cleaning needs. Let me highlight a few products that you may want to consider: 1) First, their Hydrogen Peroxide cleaner is amazing and will clean anything from carptes to count tops. 2) Second, the Ridz It green tea aminia based cleaner is excellent for cleaning surfaces and leavinf a great scent. I went to West Coast Vacuum & Janitorial supply to have my vacuum serviced. I was expecting to get a repair estimate and to pick it up at a later date. Instead, I explained my problem to the young man; he took it into the service area and came out with it 10 minutes later- all fixed! He charged me very little to fix it . Oh, while I was waiting, the store owner appeared and offered me a chair and a bottle of water! What wonderful service. They know how to treat their customers. I highly recommend them. read more

I walked in frustrated with the current vacuum I was using. Brian with his outstanding customer service, listened to my wants and needs in a vacuum and recommended a Riccar R25P. Horrible service. The worst. Ever. I'll try to keep it brief and to the point: Reserved a carpet cleaner to be picked up on a Friday. Owner told me over the phone that they rent it for 24 hours, but if I picked it up after 12 noon, I would be able to keep it until Monday at no extra charge because they close at 12 on Saturday and are closed on Sunday. Nice policy, EXCEPT it's not in place solely for the customers' benefit-- it's so they can be closed for their benefit. To adhere to the "24 hour rental" policy, they would have to not rent anything after 12 on Friday. A better plan for this situation would be to put IN WRITING what time the rented item is due back on Monday before incurring an extra day's charge. Apparently, the owner of this company believes it is appropriate to say the following things to customers, like me, who are not told specifically what time to have the rental back in the above example: "That machine was due back at 9a.m. (said at 9:51 a.m.) You're gonna get charged an extra day. Tell me, exactly how long did you thing you think you could keep it? " I told him the guy who had me sign the rental when I picked it up did not tell me that it needed to be back at 9 and that he should be taking this issue up with his employee and not the customer, his response was, "you just got a 24 hour rental for 36 hours and you're gonna sit here and complain to me? I really don't care- you're complaint and opinion mean nothing to me." My husband and I own a small local business, and I have always had jobs working with the public. I. WOULD. NEVER. talk to customers the way that this man talked to me. I have no idea if there are other places in town to rent carpet cleaners, but do yourself a favor and keep looking. Brought my upright vacuum there, I was having an issue with the suction. Phil, the owner and Brian the technician unclogged my hose and they didn't charge me. I really appreciated the gesture because they didn't have to drop everything to check my unit on the spot. I went back there a few days later and bought a floor mop for our new hardeood floors. Phil demonstrated and told me the right size and type of microfiber mop to use and it is awesome! Much better quality then I have found at Walmart or Target. Would highly recommend them for anyone who is serious about cleaning. read more

We have been very satisfied with the products and services at West Coast Janitorial. When our vacuums need repair, the owners check first to see if the repair can be done under the manufacturer's warranty which is how a business with integrity works. Talk about horrible and rude service!! I have just dealt with the new owner that took over in April 2014 and I would recommend everyone stay away from this business. I was treated so disrespectfully. I was screamed at and lunged at by owner. Very abusive. All I wanted was a simple estimate to fix my Kirby vacuum. I was trying to give my business to my local community but in this case that certainly DID NOT work. I was told that I would get a call back the next day with an estimate. 4 days went by and no call, so I called and was told that my vacuum hadn't even been looked at but that he would look at it right then and call me right back. Well, again NO CALL! At this point I wanted to go pick my vacuum up but was told it was in pieces and I couldn't get it until the following Tuesday. I was afraid to go by myself to this business so I took my boyfriend. The owner threw the vacuum at me with the cord all over and unwound. So crazy. Beware! read more
