Called then on the phone, asked if them if they had the battery and how much it was. They gave me the price, it was a fair price so I drove 48 miles to pick up the battery. When I got to the shop to pick up the battery the price went up $50.00. NOT COOL I, paid the price... I would recommend finding a shop that is honest and trustworthy about the pricing. read more

I cannot count the number of Odyssey batteries I've bought from WCB over the last 23 years. These seem to be the highest quality I have been able to find for all my units including cars, trucks and especially for generators. The batteries aren't super happy with being stored at damaging low voltage, but last fantastically if properly cared for. WCB is super helpful in what you need to do to be a responsible high-end battery owner. For one, you need at least an 8 amp charger to care for an Odyssey Extreme Series battery. My latest purchase was a little tiny PC1200 to replace the one that fits in my 1949 Dodge truck. The original battery lasted only 10 years! It was finally killed by a 1 year neglect due to Covid 19. I think this is a pretty good testimony and I'm happy to pay whatever it takes to restore that kind of reliability. I have never had a problem with a short life of an Odyssey battery. I have had them die due to neglect, but if fully charged, they will be OK for a year. If Odyssey has one that fits my needs, I will only buy their Odyssey Extreme Series batteries and definitely prefer WCB. I have never had a problem with WCB. I appreciate their pricing. They're the best! Very highly recommended to consumers that need a highest reliability battery and outstanding customer service. read more

I purchased an Odyssey for ODP-AGM-25 from them In October 2021. The battery failed 3 times in 17 months, and when I brought it in for testing it failed due to sulfation. I spoke with Tony at WestCoast Batteries who requested that I send them stickers from the battery, so they could get reimbursed from EnerSys, the manufacturer of Odyssey batteries. I did so, along with copies of my failed test and the purchase. No response. I called, and they said they never received the information. I had kept copies of everything and so sent them photos via both text and email, with assurances they would refund my money. Again, nothing. I called again and spoke to someone who would not give his name and not let me speak with Tony. He refused to refund the money, saying it was done through a corporation called Quivers and it was drop shipped from the factory. I called Odyssey in Reading, PA and spoke with Stacy in warranty claims. She said they would give Westcoast Batteries factory credit and they should refund the money. When I called Westcoast Batteries back, they said they could not refund my money, but could send me a new battery for $149 shipping charge. Bottom line, Westcoast Batteries is a deceitful company, and I am going through NH small claims court to get my money back. I have to sue EnerSys, since I don't have the name of Westcoast Batteries owner as NH law requires. Huge hassle, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. read more

Amazingly helpful, wonderful service, great products. Tony, the owner is usually whom I speak with. Tony, knows customer service as well as or better than anyone I've dealt with in either a personal or professional capacity. I purchased an Odyssey 925T for my car a year ago and then the car sat as the radiator blew. Battery was unplugged and unfortunately it will not hold a charge. I called Tony this afternoon explained my situation and he explained to me the warranty will cover the faulty battery and because I currently do not have a daily driver he would get a new one shipped out to me today and would be at my house on Monday... for free. All I have to do is return the faulty battery for the core and we'll be square. This may seem expected but it's they way WCB handles their customers. If only more vendors had this level of professionalism, the automotive tuning community would be such a wonderful place. read more

This is my second time going to west coast batteries and all I can say is they are great. I am in the military and I sometimes forget or someone knocks the battery off of the tender and You know the rest the battery can get damaged. I had a problem with my 925 battery and it was not charging past 5 when I brought it in and they checked it. The lady at the office answered the call and I let her know the situation so she offered me the direct number to the manufacture which I called and they were very helpful as well. Long story short I was 2 months outside my warranty which might not have been covered anyways but they covered it. I want to thank them and the manufacture for assisting me and with such great service. I even purchased an extra mount because i was so happy with my treatment. I returned a battery for warranty due to failure of the front post to deliver power from its terminals. The manufacturers date code was still on the upper right corner of the battery, and initially I was told that was all that was necessary. Once I came in give Athens the battery, I was told they'd ship out another one to my address and it would arrive in 1 day. It never came. When I calls back, they started changing the rules. Now it needs another sticker, now they don't have a replacement and don't know when they will have another replacement. I purchased this battery because it's supposed to be the best in the business. Obviously, the battery isn't and certainly the customer service leaves a lot to be desired because of the way they stand behind their products. Don't buy these Odyssee batteries and stay away from west cocoa St batteries. They are crooks and will do anything to avoid standing by a warranty. read more

Do not buy from this company. Never got replacement battery or credit. To start with, their communication is terrible. I ordered two Odyssey marine batteries on their website and had to keep asking them when I would get the batteries. When I finally received the batteries, one of the batteries was damaged - bent lug and leaking fluid out of the sealed case. Tony at West Coast Batteries said to remove all the stickers/labels off the damaged battery and send back to them and they would send a replacement out. Never got a replacement. Called multiple times and Tony kept saying they were waiting on a shipment to come in. I finally request that I get refunded and exchanged credit card info but never seen a credit come through. Called multiple times and talked to Tony and each time said he would take care of it. Ordered the batteries in June and now it's October - 5 months later and still now resolution. Terrible customer service. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! read more

My husband ordered a battery. They sent him an email and said it would be backordered. Not knowing how long, he chatted with a Craig and he said they would cancel. Instead, they still sent battery and will not send a label for return. Well I have a Harley Electra Glide Standard with a 103 Stroker motor. With compresion releases and S & S easy start cams. But with a stock HD battery. Ever since the motor has been built having trouble starting the motor in morning. I use these compression releases all the time and most often it still stops the starter from cranking the motor over. But now with the pc925lm j Odyssey battery I don't worry about the compression releases anymore. I start the motor without them in gage. It starts quick and warms up fast. And when I am riding it seems to run faster and better. I heard about it and I wanted to try one. But I had to re-arrange to battery cables to connect it. Steve and Tony said , you can't ever over charge it. So far it works beautifully and they said to check the voltage with a ohm meter for 12.65 v if it that, it's good to go. Now no more trouble with my Harley 02. Electra Glide P.S. even the head lights seems brighter. read more

I spent $700.00 on two batteries for my boat and both batteries went bad just outside of warranty. The batteries were rarely used and were kept on a battery maintainer. I have purchased numerous batteries from West Coast Batteries and I was offered no assistance in replacing the batteries since the batteries were out of warranty. My question would be why spend all the extra money on a battery that wasn't any more reliable and didn't last any longer than a standard battery that could be purchased at a fraction of the cost, especially when the seller won't back a supposedly "superior" battery!!!! read more

After an unpleasant experience with an unmentioned battery distributor, I was looking for a place I could trust who sells good batteries. I honestly think I may have found that with West Coast Batteries! I initially spoke with the owner Tony on the phone. He took a little time to discuss batteries with me and said he could reduce the price some since i would be picking the battery up straight from the distribution facility. It was a small reduction, but nonetheless it was helpful and I thought it was cool that he offered that without me asking. When I got to the the facility I was impressed with the professionalism. I was greeted with enthusiasm and eagerness. I was also impressed with the amount of Odyssey battery configurations on display and that they appear to know how to apply these to a number of unique vehicle applications. I give a reserved 5-stars only because the battery is young at this point. But I'm hopeful that I found a place that customers would be treated fairly if anything goes wrong with the battery within the warranty period. Btw, today it started my motorcycle up nicely. Initially had a pleasant experience buying my battery, and Tony was helpful. However, when the battery turned out to be bad (in the opinion of some professional auto electrical guys) it quickly turned sour. Tony finally relented to see the battery, and I returned it on my dime for apparent testing. The other guy at the shop tried to be helpful but couldn't do anything other than test the battery. Then Tony did not respond to any phone calls or emails regarding the battery. So it's there, and I'm basically out the battery. Super disappointed. I would really only buy big items like this locally as if they are in need of return the shipping is an awful experience. I would also think twice about using WCB. The battery I bought was a Odyssey PC1100, for use in my campervan. Furthermore, even contacting Odyssey didn't help...some gal there named Kathy (?) spoke for a short while about the problem and said she'd look into it...never heard from her again. MAke sure a return policy is easy for you before buying these batteries. read more
