When I got to the shop to pick up the battery the price went up $50.00. NOT COOL I, paid the price... I would recommend finding a shop that is honest and trustworthy about the pricing.

I cannot count the number of Odyssey batteries I've bought from WCB over the last 23 years. These…read moreseem to be the highest quality I have been able to find for all my units including cars, trucks and especially for generators. The batteries aren't super happy with being stored at damaging low voltage, but last fantastically if properly cared for. WCB is super helpful in what you need to do to be a responsible high-end battery owner. For one, you need at least an 8 amp charger to care for an Odyssey Extreme Series battery. My latest purchase was a little tiny PC1200 to replace the one that fits in my 1949 Dodge truck. The original battery lasted only 10 years! It was finally killed by a 1 year neglect due to Covid 19. I think this is a pretty good testimony and I'm happy to pay whatever it takes to restore that kind of reliability. I have never had a problem with a short life of an Odyssey battery. I have had them die due to neglect, but if fully charged, they will be OK for a year. If Odyssey has one that fits my needs, I will only buy their Odyssey Extreme Series batteries and definitely prefer WCB. I have never had a problem with WCB. I appreciate their pricing. They're the best! Very highly recommended to consumers that need a highest reliability battery and outstanding customer service.

First time here and I was so happy to be able to purchase 2 pack batteries for the Mobil chair scooter at an amazing price! I highly recommend this place. The battery was also a little dirty. I installed them all in the golf cart and the one battery that had the nuts on the post registered 12.4v while all the others registered 12.8v. I decided I would do at least two charges to see if this would even out and it did not. I noticed that the golf cart was lagging in power after about 10 minutes, which is not normal for new batteries. Each time I charged the cart the battery in question was .4v or more lower then the other three batteries in the pack. I took it back and Angel said the battery was fine and they normally don't take batteries back when they test fine and he would have to talk to Jeremy(?) about this. He gave me a new battery that had the plastic cap on the positive post. He also said that they install nuts on the posts. The other three batteries I have didn't have nuts on them and I walked over to the batteries in the storage areas and I didn't see nuts on those batteries either. I installed this exchanged battery in the golf cart with the other 3 batteries and now all the batteries charge to12.8v and the cart runs for Long durations, and the entire pack of batteries holds the correct charge. I should've been more aware and inspected the batteries closer when I picked them up. All the symptoms I saw pointed towards a defective battery or used battery. I ended up with a new battery, but it did cost me my personal time to exchange the battery and also remove the old one from the golf cart and then install another one. I guess all in all it was about three hours of my personal time and $25 in tolls. I'm adding this experience to my bucket of wisdom.

The guy who helped me did not seem to know what they were doing and was having issues putting the battery in. He was unable to fit the clamp around the battery, which I found out after the fact was because he had the battery in backwards, and told me I needed new clamps. As he was struggling to place the fitting onto the wrong side of the battery the other fitting made contact and sparked causing my main fuse, the fuse to my dash system, and the fuse to my audio all to break. Nobody at the store was knowledgeable enough to know that this was the issue and long story short I spend 4-5 hours stranded in the parking lot with my car unable to start. Luckily an actual mechanic happened to be in the store and was able to ultimately help me come to a solution but a simple battery swap costed me more time and money than it should have. Needless to say I will never return to this location and possibly I will never return to O'Reillys ever again because of the horrible experience that I endured. Nobody at the location seemed to be in charge or was able to help me and they ultimately ruined my week with this because I am still finding new problems every day with my electrical system. Absolutely horrible, I would implore all of you to never come to this establishment. If they are unable to properly train their employees to perform their daily job functions then they are simply a bad establishment in my opinion. This kind of negligence is unacceptable from any reputable store.
