This is a nice little pub and bar in Atlantic Beach just outside of Long Beach, NY. We went here after visiting the Irish festival for the weekend. We decided to get dinner here and chill and enjoy the live entertainment that was outside. When we walked in, we were seated right away. Our waitress was very professional in taking our orders and making sure we got everything we asked for. She checked in on the table in a timely manner too. I ordered the crispy pork, my wife had the cod sandwich, and my friend had a sandwich as well. All the food was fresh and cooked just right. Everything was delicious too. We were very happy with our food. It is a little on the pricier side, but it's definitely worth the price you pay. This is a German food must stop place. So, we were certainly a bit overdressed, but everyone was so friendly, it was not awkward or uncomfortable at all. The beers are unique - from Blood Orange Ale to Apricot to your standard Bud Heavy in a bottle. And, since it was happy hour, every beer cost $3.50. I do not think we could have found a better deal. It's clean, and unlike most bars, it seems they actually use a dishwasher for the dishes. There is a small menu, and some baked goods. A place like this in such a beautiful setting makes me want to leave closer, but thankful this is only a reasonable car ride away.
