The brews are brewed so your brew is new!

What an amazing place! Not one but TWO levels of great places to sit down to enjoy the time with your favorite refreshment. I enjoyed my Ginger Ale and took in all of the decor and the flat screen TV's. Plus Corn hole outside was a nice touch.

Good beer, good setting, good service! The location is incredibly convenient, located a few minutes from the LIRR train and about 7 mins from the beach. It had plenty of seating and the back had a giant couch and table for more intimate events. The beer was very good, which is nice considering the owners could have relied on the location to attract weary commuters or thirsty beach goers. I loved the hazy ipa, and the cream ale with vanilla and orange notes. All the beer was worth trying, but the lupilin parkway was worth a crowler! The service was also a nice change, most Brooklyn beer companies are snooty and NJ can be less than friendly. Overall, worth a few hours to chill and rehydrate here!

Solid, bright and hopping( hoppy too !!) Small selection with something for everyone from NEIPA to Fruity Sour to Stout. Hip and lively crowd... huge space. Love the adequate lighting and table tops... hope they do well, best of luck on this much needed local brew house

Foam-O - hazy juicy and sessionable at 6.8 .....nicely surprised at how much I enjoyed this............ was not really anticipating this level of quality in the land of PBR. Welcome Home Dude - 8.2 DIPA - opening up nicely in the glass....... and please ask for proper glassware here, as plastic ware is only appropriate for lesser suds! This place was cranking, but as usual, Lisa E. was able to grab a table with seating. Only thing missing was hooks for jackets. Jealous - our table mates are devouring cheesy knots and a beautiful gramma's pie from Gino's. Hitting up that place next. Craft beer comes to LB! Yay!

Gets super crowded but really nice atmosphere. Had the sour and it was great and service was fast and friendly. Can order food from other places and kid/ pup friendly. Not too many options but enough that you'll find something you like. Great spot to stop by and relax without the craziness of the west end bars.

This is a fun place to do a beer flight. It gets really crowded during the weekends, so I went on a weekday afternoon. They don't serve food, however, you can bring your own food. There are several restaurants on the same block so you can easily get food. It is also near the LIRR station, so you can go straight from the train station to here. There are several ocean themed beers here such as the clam juice pale ale, the fish are bitin' mexican lager. They also have IPAs and sours. The selection seems to rotate regularly, another excuse to come back to see what is new. You can order and pick up their beer which comes in crowlers. Crowlers are growlers in a can, so its a huge 32 oz can of beer. If you are looking for a fun place to hang out with a large group, definitely check out Bright Eye Beer!

Love the logo.

I'd been wanting to come here for a couple months now and we finally made it the other day after…read moreleaving another brewery close by. We came right before opening and waited in the car for the doors to open. Upon entering there were several people doing the same thing which speaks volumes for this place. It got busy right away and there was some type of event going on in the back too. Everyone was there to enjoy their beers and boy were they enjoyable. The girl who waited on us was very nice and honest as she gave my gf her brand new Chanel sunglasses she had left on the counter earlier when we were ordering. Thank you! This place has chill brewery vibes as you can see their production area and it's pretty spacey and I love how they are in an old post office building. They have a lot of board games to play while enjoying your beers and they also sell some merch. We ordered a flight: - Resting Grinch Face, Winter Warmer 5/5 - Terrible Twos Anniversary, Imperial Hazy IPA 5/5 - Kite and Key, Hazy IPA 5/5 - BOO-Yah, American Porter 5/5 Every beer was tasty af!!! I love this place and I look forward to my next visit. Thanks again for everything :) Sláinte

On a Sunday night, we were surprised to see so many people enjoying the evening. This place is popular with folks enjoying time with their family and friends and it even looked like a couple of small celebrations were taking place, which made our hearts happy. We enjoyed a flight and chose the Rustle dunkel, Tightrope schwarzbier, Resting Grinch face winter warmer, and the Boo-Yah porter. Loved them all and they have much more on tap, including hard seltzers as gluten-free options. Play a board game, watch sports on their TV, bring your own food, shoot some darts, and do a toast to what a wonderful year 2024 has been! Double Tap also has a special Instagram page that features all the dogs that come to visit!
