Such a fun afternoon at Lunchbox Brewing Co, easily one of the best breweries I've been to on Long Island. The space is light, airy, and super inviting. An added bonus, the bartender was so friendly and helped pick out beers for us based on what we like. Everything we tried on tap was excellent. We lucked out with perfect weather and sat out back at one of the picnic tables, which made it even better. This is the spot to be on a Saturday afternoon. They maybe new, but they're going just as strong as the OGs! The brewery itself is very nice. Bright lights, long bar, big digital menu screen with a long list of delicious beers. There are about 10-15 table to sit at with a huge outdoor seating area. That is where the food truck is. ((As well as a back parking lot)) The staff is usually always friendly and professional. Very knowledgeable of the beer they're pouring. You can find anything from IPAs to Stouts. So if you're into the LI brewery scene, this place is a must! read more

I went here with my family for Mother's Day and it was incredible the inside was very nice. They had lots of room and also an outdoor seating area. The food truck and the man who worked in it was incredibly friendly and kind. Kept my nephews very happy and busy by being able to play games inside and outside also !! This place is SO good! Plenty of seating. More of a lounge type vibe with incredibly comfortable seats at both the tables and the bar. Beautiful light fixtures. Friendly staff. Doesn't emit brewery vibes right off the bat. We sat at the bar and did a flight, which comes in an actual lunchbox. That was a lot of fun! We enjoyed literally every beer we tried (3 lagers and 1 stout, SO happy there are barely any IPAs here!). We ended up getting the Bad Hombre after we finished our flight which is a dark Mexican lager. Very smooth and mouthy. Prices are fair. Card only. Parking is in the municipal lot across the street. This is very lively brewery, with many tap beers. They have a great variety ranging from light to hoppy, to dark, to sours, although I wish there were more sour options, they only had one when I visited. We've been here twice and both times it's been packed. It's newly opened but they must be doing something right lol. LOTS of parents with kids of all ages. So far everyone's been behaving. Beers are good. Some better than others. A few on the weak-flavor-body side. Roll me down to the juicing room is a very good sour. And they are my fav. Bartenders are really nice!! Really nice new brewery in Bellmore. They keep several LAGERS on tap and that's kind of rare because they are more effort to make properly. All four I tried were really delicious. There is a food truck out back with nice BBQ so you might stay her for quite a while...definitely a place to go back to often! The ONLY thing that bugged me, had nothing to do with the brewery...parking can be tough on a Saturday. Everyone seems to come to town on that day. Great location in the heart of Bellmore and while I've only been once, they seem to have food trucks that rotate every so often. An excellent addition to the Bellmore Village! We hosted a 35th birthday party here for 15 people. The team was responsive, accommodating, and easy to work with. We reserved a section of the bar and high top tables with an open bar menu. It all worked out perfectly. The birthday boy was very pleased. The bartenders here deserve a shout out too - they're attentive and all very nice. No waiting around. And every beer we've had so far has been a hit. A lot of good IPA options. The only down side is there are A LOT of kids - like even at 7 pm on a Friday night. So much so that we've had to go elsewhere when trying to grab a drink after work. Overall though couldn't be happier to have Lunchbox in town. read more

I moved to Bellmore in 2022 and was so sad that their "Main Street" (Bedford) wasn't as lively as I had hoped. I'm sure the pandemic really did some damage to this beautiful town. I can't even begin to tell you how THRILLED I was when I saw that sign go up on the building in progress, and my hopes of Bedford becoming something lively was restored. They had a "soft" opening during the Bellmore Street Fair and was able to sample a few of their beers and they were so good. Their Bad Hombre (Dark Mexican Lager) & Sunrise High (Mexican Rice Lager) were among my favorites, and even though I'm not a fan of IPAs, I had their "Captain we're gonna need a bigger boat" (Double New England IPA) and I was blown away. Was fortunate enough to strike up a convo with one of the owners while waiting in line and you can tell they're passionate about their business. So incredibly happy for them to have created something that I know is going to thrive in town. Best of luck to Lunchbox and I'll see you guys again soon! read more

I visited two weeks ago and the experience was very disappointing. Cash isn't accepted, which I find annoying. The noise level was intolerable, especially from the large group of ten-year-olds in soccer uniforms who apparently thought that their game was still on and were practically bouncing off the walls. And my beer was flat. I sent an email of complaint. Thankfully, the management response was professional and gracious, and included an offer of a free round. My second visit was totally different. The place was packed with families with kids, but the atmosphere was much calmer, actually even mellow. And the beers were quite good. Management's suggestion regarding the noise level is to visit later in the evening when fewer kids are around. That's not unreasonable, but the logic is backwards. It's like when you want to read in peace at the library and you're told to go to The Quiet Room. I believe that some signage at the entrance would help: Credit Cards Only - Well Behaved Children Are Welcome - something like that, which would make it easier for the staff to have a chat with the parents of kids who have gone off the rails. With that and a few more tweaks, this place has all the potential in the world. For now, all beers are sold in-house. But I look forward to when they might be distributing to other Long Island bars, including my local. read more

I was there last night for the third time. Great place! Lively atmosphere and great beer. My favorite is the Dove Wit. I love the long, clean bar and the friendly servers.
