I gave up drinking for 2026 and I still love this place! It's a great vibe beautiful building and great food! My wife is a vegetarian and I found amazing things to eat at this place because it's all vegetarian. I would highly recommend you give this place a shot!

Wow what a great addition to Farmingdale! One of the best things about this place is that the self pour option lets you sample a beer before fully committing to it. Also love that you do not have to wait for a server. However, if you are with someone who wants a cocktail there are servers available to help as well. The decor is super cute and feels like a very cozy lounge area perfect for a date. Finally THE FOOD! As a vegetarian my heart is elated that there are so many options. Not only are the options plentiful but they are DELICIOUS. Seriously some of the best tacos on the island! Pour Authority is definitely a must try and my favorite new addition to main street. Hopefully this becomes a chain that can pop up in other towns as well.

What a cool spot! We came here just by chance! Such a cool concept of pouring your own beers. There were so many beers on tap, IPA's, seasonal beers, ciders and even cocktails. Mike was our server, he was great! The vibe here is so fun, from the music to the arcade. They had the front garage doors open which I personally love. We sat in the lounge area because we had our young son with us. But over all a great experience, would definitely love to hear for a fun night out! We only had a little bit of food, but the food we had was great! I only gave it 4 stars because there's always room for growth. Would definitely recommend to give this place a shot. One thing I will mention the menu does seem to be vegan/ vegetarian. The entire menu is plant based, I am a steak and potatoes girl but I still enjoyed our meal!

Beyond burger (plant based), veggie dumplings, salad, elote corn ribs, fries...all Excellent

Cool spot to hangout, but need to improve on beer selection. Service was nice and accommodating.

Would think apple cider pineapple juice maybe some heat as well would make this slaw next level. Again the taco was good in cooking standards but lacked any flavor. Sorry :( The service here was GREAT even though it was super busy which I love to see not only one person checking on us but multiple , greetings were nice and the ambiance was very sport bar esk today with families and individuals coming to enjoy , JASMINE our server was super nice and I hope to see her again , such a lovely vibe and just seems like a good person. I hope others get to enjoy my here experience as I did today Overall 8/10 ! Also fairly affordable with many specials throughout the week !

My friend later got a beer that was also flat, batting 0 for 3 here. I used to love the wings but my wings were literally cold. They couldn't even have been sitting under the warmer bc they were cold. She never came back to ask how anything was once the food dropped and I sat there with my wings getting colder. I actually had to ask for a box and the check bc the table was never touched. I was going to go today for the soccer game but my friend refused. Awful.

Alibi is currently running a Harry Potter pop up, and if you know anything about me, you will know I am a HUGE fan. The Alibi was decorated beautifully and there were two really cute Photo Ops by "Platform 9 3/4" and the Wand Shop. Come here for the drinks! The Hufflepuff was bourbon forward and reminded me of an Old Fashioned which further confirmed that is truly my house. It also came with an edible golden snitch. The server pointed it out before I gave them what I thought to be decor. I popped the chocolate golden snitch in my mouth after being directed to take the wrapping off first. We then did butterbeer shots and I can't even begin to tell you how delish they were...dangerously delicious. Food was had and it wasn't anything to write about but I'll try. Queso dip is made in house, which I respect. Loaded potato wontons were a great idea and were probably the best things on the table. You can't go wrong with pretzel nuggets. Chocolate cake is never a bad idea. I ended my visit with a chocolate frog drink. Very similar to an espresso martini. You know how hot they are right now. It came with a an actual chocolate frog which was nice. Finally one of the staff members came over to help us play Bertie Botts and we all picked a jellybean. I got lemon. Some of us got soap and warwax. So fun! It was so good, we are going to try to snag another rez for trivia. Reservations are for 90 minute seatings. You pay $15 for a ticket but you get a souvenir cup with your ticket. Not mad about this because the cup is actually decent and will be used. Their next pop up will be "Slime Time". Slime is not my thing but maybe you'll see me at the other pop ups.

That's the kind of place you'll want to linger long after your plate is empty. We had French Onion Soup, and it was everything you want from a classic. Rich, deeply caramelized onion broth with incredible savory flavor, topped with a toasted baguette that soaked up just enough broth while still keeping a little bite. The bubbling layer of melted mozzarella and Swiss stretched with every spoonful. There was a flavor I couldn't place, but had me thinking herbaceous Italian seasonings, which isn't typically the flavor profile of French onion soup, gave it a unique flavor and made every bite more irresistible. The Asian Chicken Salad was anything but ordinary. Crisp romaine and crunchy red cabbage were tossed with tender grilled chicken, crunchy cashews, and fresh scallions. We got the sesame ginger vinaigrette on the side, which struck the perfect balance of nutty, tangy, and slightly sweet. Every forkful had a fresh crunch followed by a burst of bright, savory flavor that kept us coming back for another bite. The Chicken Taco Salad arrived in a crispy tortilla shell that was almost too pretty to break into, but we're glad we did. Juicy marinated chicken, creamy avocado, fresh pico de gallo, sweet corn and black bean salsa, chopped greens, and a generous blend of Mexican cheeses were all tied together with a smoky chipotle-lime vinaigrette. Cool sour cream mellowed the gentle heat, creating the perfect combination of creamy, smoky, zesty, and fresh in every bite.

My brother has always wanted to try this place, but we never had a chance to actually step foot inside the Library Cafe. As the name suggests, the restaurant sits at the site of the old town library, and the bar area has tall shelves and a rolling ladder to pay homage to the name. To maximize the restaurant week menu, three of us tried different appetizers. The ahi tuna taco was the best of the lot- crispy shell and nicely prepared tuna filling. The Thai calamari was a little too overcooked and the sweet sauce was cloying. I didn't get to try too much of the French onion soup because my dad almost inhaled it whole, but it was gooey and comforting. I had the honey-soy glazed salmon with broccolini. The salmon was a little dry, but the glaze and cashew went well with it. Maybe a touch of spice could have improved the dish. The broccolini was nicely textured and not too bitter. My mom's fish and chips were underwhelming, though the not-proper "chips" were well fried and seasoned. It was not served with vinegar either. My brother had the Buddha bowl which he enjoyed and felt was a good health conscious option. I did love that they allowed my dad -- who was not feeling too well-- to order just an entree while the rest of the table had the restaurant week menu. I know some restaurants require all members of the table to order off the prix fixe menu sometimes. He had the burger, which was cooked very precisely to medium-rare. We did have dessert though we were stuffed at this point. The sticky toffee pudding cake was lovely, moist, and so decadent without being overly heavy. I ordered the wild berry cheesecake, and while the clearly house made berry compote was a nice touch, it was just a little underwhelming next to the sticky toffee pudding. Overall, we had a good time at the Library Cafe, and though service was a little slow due to sudden rush of diners, it was a fun little weekday dinner. I did see signs for their happy hour, which I'd love to try-- especially their cocktails named after writers!
