Would think apple cider pineapple juice maybe some heat as well would make this slaw next level. Again the taco was good in cooking standards but lacked any flavor. I came here with a friend for the soccer game. The girl we had was training and quite frankly not good herself. My beer was flat, I order another which was also flat. My friend later got a beer that was also flat, batting 0 for 3 here. I used to love the wings but my wings were literally cold. They couldn't even have been sitting under the warmer bc they were cold. She never came back to ask how anything was once the food dropped and I sat there with my wings getting colder. I came here to watch the final of the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision Miami vs. Indiana with a couple of my cousins. The Ambiance of the bar is pretty good, a very cozy sports bar. For our appetizer, we started sharing the chicken buffalo wings, and fried cheese curds. The Fried Cheese Curds were crunchy outside and warm, gooey, and slightly chewy inside, a field of cheeses, very delicious a great option to share across a big party. The wings were crunchy, and well season, and delicious. I also order famous burger, The Ale House Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion Topped with Island Dressing, my burger was cooked medium and the cut was pretty good the bacon was crispy, and my meat was super delicious and juicy, For my drinks, I had the beer no alcoholic Athletic Run Wild IPA all night surprise it taste similar to an IPA. I had my bridal shower at the Garden at Croxleys and it was absolutely perfect! The room is beautifully decorated, you don't need to add much but it is very spacious if you want to be creative. There are many windows and lots of natural light. The tables and chairs have a modern rustic feel. The greenery wall is an awesome touch. I was able to play a slideshow of pictures of me and my fiancé on the TVs and play my own Spotify playlist over the radio. Restrooms are located right in the back of the private area, very convenient. The booking process was seamless. I communicated with the staff mostly via email and they were always very responsive and helpful. There are a variety of packages available to choose from with excellent options. Prices are very reasonable. I chose a brunch and the food was all delicious, as well as the brunch cocktails. The package included a sheet cake, which I was able to customize. Bring back the mussels!!!! A quick stop at Croxley's for wings before heading home from the Harry Potter pop up and my old stomping grounds, Farmingdale. As long as they keep Hoegaarden in house (I believe it's actually on tap), I will always be a fan. Their wings have stayed pretty consistent and trying the medium honey sauce for the first time did not disappoint. My only critique is I wish the wings were slightly bigger. They are super crispy and delicious, but on the small side. I guess I'll just eat more of them. Unknowingly, or outing was on the same day as the Farmingdale St. Patrick's day parade. And even though all spot on Main Street were hopping, we were able to be seated quickly with our wing, fries and beer brought out to us shortly after we were brought to our table. Great time at Croxley's to watch the Olympics on a cloudy, rainy Sunday! We each got two beers as well as two entrees. I had the ale house burger which was huge and smothered in thousand island dressing. He got the boom boom chicken sandwich which was basically like chicken tenders on a bun but still yummy. Service was attentive and prompt! Ambiance was good - low music to have a chat and not too rowdy at the time we went. Came in to watch the Notre Dame game today. They have tons of TVs and seemed as though they had all the games playing. Awesome place to watch. Bartenders were attentive, but not annoying, I liked that a lot. A simple nod went a long way. Forgot to take pictures of my food, but we got 2 orders of wings. The medium were a solid medium. The "fighting Irish" were described as "a little spicy but are also tossed in a whiskey based sauce" - they were disappointing. Unless you let them sit for awhile, they didn't taste like much. We also ordered the cheese curds, and they were good, but reminded me more of mini mozz sticks/balls. Beer prices were on par, but I was a little taken back by the $17.50 for a double Tito's drink. 3-8-25. Went on Saturday night and we were 4 adults and 3 kids. We were seated within 10 minutes which is pretty good for a Saturday night at 6:30. Mainly a bar food menu with your standard burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads and appetizers. Large soft pretzel was good, but you could tell it was frozen. Chicken wings are definitely a standout here and they have quite a few sauces to choose from. I ordered a French dip and other than the hero bread just being a regular hoagie roll you'd get from a grocery store, the sandwich was actually pretty damn tasty. Nice au jus served alongside the sammie. The waitress allowed me to swap the French fries for mixed veggies, which was very nice. My table ordered some teriyaki and hot wings, which were excellent, a large pretzel, a burger and some steak. Everyone was satisfied with the quality of their food. They do have some "Irish specialties" such as Sheppard's pie, Irish stew and and fish & chips. Although we didn't order any of them, the table next to us did....and they recommended the Irish stew. Maybe I'll give it a shot next time. Our waitress was patient and accommodating. Very good service. If you're looking to dine with younger kids, definitely go early because it's kind of loud in there and as the night progresses, the music becomes even louder and the beer starts flowing a little a little bit more. If you're a beer connoisseur, you'll absolutely love this place. They offer a huge selection ranging from very local breweries, domestics and foreign on tap and a bunch more in the bottle. They also have a few different locations on Long Island and I believe they even have one in the city. All locations are reliable and you can't go wrong. read more

Pros: Pumpkin beer AND a cinnamon sugar rim. They don't do that here in Virginia so it's always a nice treat when we visit Croxley's. Food is good and consistent, the wings were crispy and the zucchini fries were well flavored. I knock a star off because they were drilling inside the restaurant (right next to our table) for 10 minutes and it was hard to even hear the person sitting next to me. And another star because we couldn't find our waitress or any other staff other than bartender for awhile (we later discovered she was being trained on the POS system). I also had the Caesar Salad. Very delicious. Sometimes Caesar Salads can be the weak part of a pub's food but not the case here. Nicely dressed, not too creamy. Almost like an Italian dressing Caesar dressing. I enjoyed it. I recommend Croxley's. *This is one of the busier Croxley's, so it gets very packed at the bar and sometimes has a short wait time for a table. They have TV screens with sports, music playing on overhead speakers, and very dim lights. They can be slow at times but it just seems that they are overwhelmed by the rush of orders and possibly being understaffed. Nonetheless the drink and food orders are always right and they do it with a smile. *They have your usual "bar food" ((if you're a fan of wings you will 100% love theirs!)) as well as dinner entrées, salads and soups ((soup is good food!!)). But we were pretty much done with all that in 20mins. We waited so long for the waitress to come by to see if we wanted anything else...that we weren't so hungry anymore. So that sucked. So we ordered: - 20 medium buffalo wings with ranch and blue cheese - 2 more french onion soups (not pictured) - 2 orders of sweet potato fries (not pictured) I was so happy to get all of it, but ended up only eating 3 SALTY ASS WINGS...i tried to eat more but i just couldn't because I was kinda full already from digesting while waiting to order, and because the wings were very salty. Came here to watch the rangers in game two with Tampa bay. Might I just start by saying the energy amongst the crowd was immaculate. It was really nice to see so many people cheering on my favorite hockey team! There is a large selection of beers on tap to choose from, and I'm happy my favorite beer the montauk wave chaser was available for me. After that we ordered some wings and fries to eat while we watched the game. Service was really fast on a very busy night which is a huge score! Wings were crispy, saucy and very delicious. I've been here a few times and always thought it was good. I went into the garden room for the first time today, 3/6/22 and i love it. I wish I knew about this room before. I heard that there can be parties hosted here, but never knew about it till now. The room is a decent size and I love how it's set up almost like a tiled backyard. I love the tile on the floor. My daughter's Bridal Shower was at "The Garden at Croxleys Ale House" in Farmingdale, New York last weekend. Dave, one of the catering managers, was patient and helpful your when planning the layout of the room a few days before. We had a brunch and the food was plentiful and delicious. Elaina, another manager, made sure the day went smoothly. Everything was done seamlessly from the drinks, to the food, to the desert. The cake, was included and was beautiful and delicious! The ladies who bartendered and served were kind and simply amazing. The atmosphere was bright and airy annd there was plenty of room for decorations. Croxley's has a permanent grass wall which is perfect as a backdrop for pictures whether you add something to it or by itself. Everyone seemed comfortable and had a great time. We received many compliments. It was a beautiful day for the bride to be and for me, one that we will never forget. This is their best location. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff is very friendly. We used to always go to the one by Franklin Square but this one is much better. The wings are excellent, more please. The loaded tots are my husband's favorite weakness. I really love the mussel pot when I want something different. Croxley's has a special place in my heart and will always be one of my go to restaurants in Farmingdale. (Pre-covid): it was always such a great place to grab a beer or just hang out. During the pandemic, Croxley's has been doing great following social distancing guidelines - there are Plexiglass in between the tall tables between the bar and the booths and also in between the bar seats for those who choose to eat at the bar. Employees are maintaining social distancing and wearing masks as well. They even opened their back room to provide additional seating! We were always frequent guest at Taco Tuesdays which they have gotten rid of due to the pandemic. I hope the specials will return when things normalize. The shrimp tacos are the BOMB. Highly recommend them with the chipotle aoili sauce that is on the fried shrimp. YUM. Another menu item I highly recommend is the MUSSELS! I don't know if it is just me but I wouldn't think of bar food as mussels but boy does Croxley's know how to make a mean dish of mussels. I got the siracha muscles and side of fried calamari for my birthday and it was amaaaaazzzing. I cannot wait to go back and order that again! Other items we love are obviously their wings, mac and cheese burger and really anything on their menu. The staff at Croxley's are always great as well. You won't find me here on a weekend, but give me a good Wednesday night, and I'm in. Their tap list seems endless- but they get a handful of deep cut beers that I seek out. Any time I go in there's at least one that's a brewery I've been trying to find locally, so I'm here for it. I like their food well enough to make the entire trip worthwhile.
