Visit Date: December 20, 2025 I came into Motion Craft to hang out with my friend who loves Breweries. I wouldn't have seen pretty much every brewery I have seen if it weren't for my friend Sunil lol. When I walked in I was surprised because two more of my friends were there too and I was happy to see them. I don't drink but I have N/A beers because I like the taste of a beer but I don't want to get that buzzed or drunk feeling anymore. The owner of the brewery had a good selection of N/A beers so I opted for the Sam Adams IPA since I never had that one yet. Sitting at Motion craft was awesome. The owner of the brewery was serving us his name was Angel. He was very nice. It wasn't very crowded, a crowded place is good for the restaurant or bar but I like a little room to hang out with my friends without tripping over people so I appreciate that it wasn't crowded. They have a pretty unique selection of beers, I would recommend giving motion craft a try if you haven't been there. read more

A truly amazing craft brewery. Get a flight. Experience all the flavor combinations. Intimate atmosphere. Highly recommend. read more

Spent a Saturday afternoon here with my friend, and it was the perfect hangout! I got "The PB to My J" which is a peanut butter and jelly mead. It didn't taste like pb & j, but it was sweet and I described it as "fall in a cup." Different options depending on what you're into. I didn't catch her name, but the bartender was so friendly and just amazing overall! Definitely stop by! read more

Only stopped in for a single round before heading to dinner, but I definitely want to come back and sample more of the menu. I love trying new and unique beers, and my wife is more of a cider and mead person. We've never seen a place that provided both and made them, too! We came in and were able to grab the last free table, though there were still seats available at the bar. This place is very small, so I imagine later in the night it would get pretty crowded. For reference we arrived shortly after 5 PM on a Saturday. I got the blonde ale, which was very good, and my wife got one of the meads. A quick round later, we were off. read more

Small but ultimately wonderful brewery with flavorful beers. Best thing to do is grab a flight to taste a few then hang back for a long visit. Great bartenders. read more

If you see a customer not touch the beer you just poured wouldn't you think to pay attention and ask what's up? Had no problem taking $8 for it though. No care when I said it tastes Ms off, like undrinkable. Tried this place for the third time and 0-3 on beers. Too many better options and better customer service out there. read more

Barrage...is that you? Sorry, got caught up in a beer there for a moment. Let's rewind a sec and put things in motion, as Motion Craft Brewed likes to say on their social media pages. Back on February's Leap Day I had a chance to check out this brand new brew spot (with some buddies) in Massapequa and I was generally impressed. Okay, I'm not overly impressed with the interior of MCB. It's pretty tiny and feels like a few other small breweries on this lengthy island. But seriously, size does not matter. If you can brew a solid beer, I don't care if I have to stand in a broom closet; I'll be there. And Motion isn't THAT small. There's a handful of tables and some spots by the bar so it's not like you can't find a seat. Luckily, my two chums and I scored one table with enough chairs for 2/3 of us to sit. Good enough for me! But good does not make a five star review. Great, amazing, stupendous, superb. Those are the adjectives that get things going in the upper echelon of brewery reviews and so I'll try to throw a few of those into this next part. For starters, nine beers on tap is a superb (there's one!) amount of choices for any brewery. Better yet, if you're able to space out your variety, then I tip my cap to you, as Motion was able to do. A flight of four for $10 is a respectable price and despite it being a tad busy, they had a great (there's another!) system of filling out the flight sheet and standing in a specific spot for the flight to be obtained. It kept things moving quickly so we could get to drinking. What did we drink? Let's start with a hefeweizen (Boulevard Hefe) that checked off the style perfectly, as did their saison with honey and orange peel (My First Crush). Both brews did what they're supposed to do for their specific flavor profiles and I was glad to see, well taste, that. Their Motion Winter Warmer (a black lager) was also crisp and malty while 3-Hour Increments (IPA with citra and mosaic hops) had a smooth and mildly bitter finish. Big props to their s'mores porter (So Happy Together) as I had recently tried a beer of this style at another brewery and it fell flat on its face. This one had an amazing (there's another!) taste of the titled dessert and really made up for my own previous beer drinking failures. Still with me? If you got this far you might be wondering why I mentioned "Barrage" to start off this review. I'm still mourning the loss of one of my favorite LI breweries that absolutely rocked the land of dessert beers. One of them was Yada Yada Yada, a chocolate peanut brown ale that I have yet to find any brewery to make something even remotely close to its flavor...until my tastebuds came in contact with Straight Outta Vonka. This beer had me questioning whether or not Barrage had possibly sold their recipe to Motion as it was so close to the way Yada tasted. Hints of chocolate and a nice punch of nuttiness without it being too overpowering and definitely not loose or watery as some of these types come out. Needless to say, it was a stupendous beer and one I can't wait to retry (even if it makes me miss Barrage even more!). Overall, Motion Craft Brewed is a fabulous addition to the craft beer scene of Long Island. It's nothing entirely interesting to look at, but it's got a little hint of style to it with some friendly employees (did I mention it's diagonally across the street from The Good Life?) and, most importantly, a potent list of beers that should keep them growing for many years to come. Hey, they may not be able to completely replace the other brewery mentioned in this review (*sniffles*), but if they keep churning out beers as wonderful as these then there's always a chance! read more

Fabulous first time out to experience the Motion' of Memorial Day weekend finally, as I have been dying to try this location since it opened. I couldn't wait for COVID19 full restrictions to open up this location for regular service again when they are doing pickup/togo! So while in the neighborhood I had to finally pop in and support local business during these though times. Let's get real they are still too new not to survive summer tasting season. The tasty "My First Crush" saison wins off the bat! It's what a saison should be...crisp refreshing greatness! Can't wait till they are really open again to experience their full line in a flight! read more

Went here on July 25, 2021. We were the first to arrive shortly after they opened at 12pm. We were in the area trying to go eat brunch at Jam which is notorious for having a long wait for a table. The place is really nice. There are a few tables inside to sit and drink at as well as the bar. We got some flights and a few drinks. They also have some snacks- chips nothing cooked. Everything was really good! I had the Peach Bellini which packed a punch!! My friend had the Cherry the Hatchet said it was really good as well. The Pear of Aces was also delicious. One of the flights contained Everything, Black and Gold, Rye Sing Tide and Cherry the Hatchet. (Sorry I had too much to drink so I can't remember what was in the last flight!) Overall, I would definitely come back and drink again! The guys that worked here were really cool and polite. I liked making conversation with them and getting to know their back story. When we passed by later the place was packed! I think there even was a person with a baby in there which is a tell tale sign of true brewery in Long Island. lol!! read more

Awesome selection of beers! Such interesting flavors, and they all tasted great. They also offer funky flavored wines, too. Nikki our bartender was great, such a positive personality. We will 100% be going back! read more

The staff here is incredible! Everyone was super nice and both ciders that I tried were delicious. Can't wait to come back :)

Stopped into Motion with my son and daughter in law to visit Chris on my birthday, it's been a while we had good conversations all around. The beers were delicious and very cold. Chris is very knowledgeable on all our brewing questions. The service here is always amazing. The tasting room was empty cause we sort of went in soon as he opened so we had our pick of wherever we wanted to sit. read more

Incredible beers, incredible service. I had had my eye on this new brewery for a while and we finally had a Sunday funday to check it out. It's a small spot across from the Good Life. Just a handful of tables and chairs with a decent-size bar. The beers on tap are listed on a chalkboard and they do flights! I had not had a flight since March! The staff was super nice and walked us through their different types of beers. The stout was very good but the one that blew me away was the humble pie cider. I try to stay away from ciders because they tend to be too sweet and result in a migraine but this one was delicious! Very honey and caramel based, light in color, and it even smelled good. I knew I had to try one of the new meads they released so I got a half pour of the strawberry (bright) mead. It was very good but definitely something to sip, not to down. I ended up back with the humble pie for my last drink before we departed. They have a couple of TVs in the tasking room which was great since a bunch of us were also watching football. The restroom is clean but they do only have one so there might be a slight wait. Again the staff is incredible. They also allow outside food since all they serve are bags of chips. We ordered online from the Good Life and brought it in, another group brought in pizza. We will definitely be back. read more

Cute little brewery in Massapequa Park Village. In fact, you could probably walk right past it not knowing it was a brewery. Went there earlier today. It was Saturday and the town was busy! They had a sign on the door about all COVID rules. In fact, they told us there were at minimum and asked us to wait outside for 10 min until some patrons left. Once inside they confined to adhere to Covid rules. Some people may find it annoying, but I don't mind it one bit. I appreciate seeing a business caring for the well being of their customers. But enough of that, let's get to what we went for. The beer, cider and mead. They had 10 items on tap. We liked every single thing we tried. Lots of seasons all fall things for us basic witches. We did a tasting each (4 for $10) and got a growler fill to go. Breweries are a dime a dozen on Long Island right now but I could see this one making a permanent home, and I hope the do! Well be back! read more

All I can say is WOW! Unbelievable craft beer produced out of Motion. Had a flight and each of the beers were incredibly smooth and full of flavor. Motion has it's brewing down to an exact science! First time I have ever had a pumpkin cider and it was everything I imagined plus more. The "Humble Pie" tastes just like everything it says is in it - caramel, apple pie, cider, and honey. Check out the white stout and pastry stout, and even the coquito, all delicious! Mead is also made there. Literally a 10/10 place, don't miss it!!! read more

1. Great selection, the quality got better with time. 2. Customer service is great- girlfriend and I had flights. Bought a can and it was mislabeled or we bought the wrong flavor. Either way, Motion staff let us swap to the one we wanted as long as we come back. Happy to say we'd be glad to come back again and should be back shortly! read more

Great drinks made in house that you will not find any where else. If you are a beer, cider, mead connoisseur this place is definitely for you. Friendly staff, family friendly with outdoor seating. Clean bathrooms. Some cool art on the walls. And fair prices. Highly recommend. read more

Excellent small batch brewery that is pushing out some great stuff! Loved that they didn't have a million different IPAs, but instead offered a wide variety including sours, an ale, 2 IPAs, some ciders, and a few meads. Really enjoyed it and will return again! read more

Finally made it here! Almost their first year anniversary (next week). Great vibes in this lovely village of Massapequa Park. Friendly owner, Angel who brews some awesome beers. What a variety! IPAs, Spurs, wine, meads, cider and scotch ales! Try em all and you won't be disappointed. read more

So happy Morion Craft Brewed finally opened! This is exactly what Park Boulevard needed (and exactly what I needed in my life ). Came in yesterday a little after opening at 2pm and it was already packed. The staff was friendly and quick moving. Although the space is a little small, there's seating around the bar, and a few tables and chairs towards the front. More importantly: the beers. We tried one of each, despite the fact that we aren't huge cider or porter people (but its new so we had to try). We both really liked the Vienna Lager and I really enjoyed the the IPA, the triple IPA, the Hefe and the saison. Looking forward to trying any new brews they come up with in the future. I am also looking forward to the growler machine making its way in. I will definitely be popping in to grab a brew or two to take home! read more

Small, clean and friendly. They have 10 taps. I'm not huge on ciders, but the "la pasion" was great. For only having 10 options, they cover the "something for everyone" pretty well. They have small bags of pretzels or chips as snacks. Overall, very nice place. Hopefully we can visit again soon. read more

Great beer/cider. Awesome playlist. Super friendly owner. Come check this place out. They have beer, mead and cider. Tried samples of all of them and ended up getting a glass of the peach Bellini and apple pie cider. Everything is delicious, but I would highly recommend trying the cider for a delightful change of pace. The peach Bellini tastes like you're sitting at brunch and the apple pie is *chef's kiss*! read more
