    Nice interior.
    Josh G.

Perhaps the actual name of this here brewery is a shoutout to second chances and retries and attempting things more than once. Whether that's the case or not, my review is based on my lone visit to Take Two Brewery back late last month (accompanied by a few friends), with enough positive results to warrant a solid four stars. Hopefully you'll read a little past that first paragraph to hear about Take Two's interior and their bevy of beer. The setup runs long with a bunch of tables against the wall, a few TVs, and a small-ish hightop seating area by where you order. Their vibe mixes no frills brewery with cozy feels for what space they have and it felt like that mostly worked. What also worked was their pricing and beer options. For $10 you can get a flight of four tasters which these days is a solid deal. Pints run to $8 which is pretty standard, and if you do happen to want just one extra taste, your division would be correct in assuming a single taster costs $2.50. Nice. Choosing your beers though might be a little tough because Take Two was offering up thirteen different brews! For a place this size, I wasn't expecting such a lengthy menu. Sometimes you'll see some guest taps or ciders/seltzers (they had one listed) or other items to make it seem like there's more to choose from, but that was basically not the case here. Instead, we were able to select from a fantastic variety of beer styles which is always nice to see. I will say that the caveat to many different beer varieties (especially eclectic-sounding ones), is that you run the risk of concocting something that sounds great, but doesn't produce the flavors it's supposed to. Case in point would be the Dark Sunrise mocha latter porter. This beer sounded fantastic, but I couldn't pick up on any mocha (or latte?) notes. Not bad for just a basic porter if that was what it was showcased as, but that's what I mean with those exotic creations. Having said that, mostly every other beer (exotic or not) that I tried was delicious. The Cascades of Darkness black IPA, She Wore A... raspberry saison, Winter Solstice winter ale, and Georgia On My Mind peach vanilla saison were all flavorful and hit their style and notes that they were looking for. With a handful of beers that neither myself nor my buddies got to try, a return trip might be needed some time to get the gist of the rest of TT's beer ability. Overall, Take Two is a formidable newish brewery on the Long Island beer map. Their "nothing special" yet semi-cozy interior will invite you in, but you'll stay for the list of interesting beer choices, great prices, and mostly solid tastes. Hmm, perhaps the name Take Two just means you have to take two trips here because one just won't be enough to try everything? *strokes beard in wonderment*

Awesome local brewery! We were surprised how much space is here based on the outside. They have a back area and an outside patio as well. Plenty of board games all around and darts too!

Owner on premise always a nice touch for a local brewery. Staff helpful and knowledgeable. So much more to say about this and I will next time!! Time to drink. ***snacks at bar. Food can be ordered in. It's new I'm sure food trucks will be here soon it's that's good :)

Excellent venue. Exceptional proprietor. Let him pour you some delicious brews. My favorite was Winter Solstice. I tried the Red Ale and Porter too. Smooth. Went with my Wife and kids (12, 10) on a Saturday night. Mixed crowd and great live music. We sat by the fireplace up front. There was also a spacious area in the back, plus an outdoor area which looks to be fun in the Summer. We ordered from the food truck directly out front. Great night!

Nice place, small and dog friendly with good beer. Nice if you don't want the crowded big brewery vibe and want to actually be able to talk

Lots of seating indoors as well. Restroom very clean as is the rest of the space. 3 super friendly amigos behind the bar which boast two televisions for all your seasonal sports.
