Super exotic, beautifully presented, and all served in unique tiki mugs. Mine came in a monkey mug, which made it even better. At one point, the bartender even lit my cocktail on fire -- such a fun touch. Speaking of the bartenders, they were fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Plenty of mood lighting, neon paint, and secluded little booths make this a fantastic date spot. Plus, being able to take your drinks and wander the rest of the building is a neat perk. Their drink presentation is delightful, and they offer more than just the standard tiki fare. After trying several different drinks, I've landed on the Mermaid Spit as my favorite. The sugar on the rim and bright blue color make it a fun treat. The Hawai'i Five-O burger is my favorite dish, with the appetizer sampler a close second. I'd pass on the Banh Mi sandwiches - they're bland, not filled well, and I actually chipped my tooth on one. Occasionally, the bar will flash and a thunderclap will echo through the room.
